So the service was awsome. This poor waiter, Drew, was All Alone that night and he was hustling. Trying to get everyone's needs met and doing a really good job despite the situation. So this review is coming out late because the night I was at the restaurant with my Boyfriend was the Friday night after the snowdown parade. The 1 star rating is because of the food quality. Essentially bland, frozen, re heated, poor quality food, basically the same as Dennys but less appalling. Why come here when I can get fresh made, from scratch, meals at most restaurants in town? We didn't even finish most of our food, and my Boyfriend who's meal was essentially unpalatable left hungry. I had the pasta with pesto sauce and it was just like sauce someone opened from a jar, warmed up and poured over the pasta, Bland and boring and definitely not worth the price. (P.S. pesto is crazy easy to make fresh) If you are staying at that hotel don't go to the restaurant, order a pizza, or go to town. Hell even Dennys crappy food is better then this place. read more

Great hotel but disappointing resturaunt in Durango CO. I was staying here and used this eatery just downstairs. I had a glass of wine. Also the veggie pesto pasta and a side salad. For dessert I had the special baklafa. Nice waitress but brought my pasta before the salad. Then overcharged me on the wine. Salad was typical. The pasta was fine. The dessert was the highlight. This place is great for a drink at a hotel bar. There are a lot of TV's to watch any games you want to watch. CJ was our bartender and he was amazing, very sociable and gave good suggestions for things to do in town! We came here while we were waiting for the shuttle service that the hotel offers. The food menu is diverse and has a good variety of pub fare. I was overall happy with the place, good music, good service, and very convenient. read more

Staying at the Holiday Inn to which the West Side is attached. We have been traveling the country for almost 6 months. Stayed in several hotels where restaurant was attached, but, by far, this was the best. Had takeout for the room last night. Had breakfast there this morning and the service was over the top. I waited an hour for my meal because the grill was "backed up" there was almost no one in the restaurant at the time. My chicken was so burnt it tasted like charcoal and the waiter messed up my drink order. My daughters didn't get crayons for the wait it was unbelievable. read more

Recommend Reading!! First off, absolutely horrendous experience, I would give them negative stars if possible. My family was very hungry and just looking for a quick and good place to eat so we decided to go here (huge mistake). We got in and sat down and waited a while but received no menus so my aunt got up and found them herself and gave them to us. We waited a while longer and the waiter finally came and said they were having kitchen difficulties we were thinking about leaving then but he came back soon and we gave him our order. He got our order and READ IT BACK TO US and everything seemed fine. We waited, and waited, and waited and finally got our food. I do not eat meat and asked for my Alfredo pasta without any meat and when he read it back he said no meat BUT I received my food and there was of course a ton of chicken on top. I told him I asked for no meat and he said he was very sorry and that HE WOULD MAKE ME A BRAND NEW BATCH so he took it away. He came back about two minutes later with a "new" plate of pasta (I was 99.99% sure that it was not a new plate of pasta and that they just scraped off the chicken and put it in a new plate). I ate a few bites until I found several small pieces of chicken within my pasta. I was infuriated knowing that this waiter and cook had lied to me and that I had just eaten meat. Once I found this out I did not eat any more and kindly let him take it away. All of my other family members had several issues with there food and we were all extremely, extremely disappointed. Our servers name was Pate B and he was nice and sorry about it taking forever but he should have at least given us a discount or something. Their management was a wreck and there was only one chef in the back. This was a terrifying, unnecessary experience and I do not recommend. read more

Unfortunately, my experience here tonight was extremely poor. My family and I arrived around 7 pm and didn't leave till around 9 pm. We ordered our food and drinks, and AFTER putting our order in, we were informed that there are problems in the kitchen and there was only one chef in the back, and our meal would take a while to come out....usually something you inform customers BEFORE they order. My sister ordered her pasta without chicken (she is vegetarian) and her pasta came out with chicken. They told her they would bring her out a NEW one, but coincidentally her pasta came out oddly quick and we found a little piece of chicken left over as if they just scraped off the chicken..... The chef did come out and apologize, and the waiter did the best he could, so I think this is more of a management problem....a BAD management problem. Would not recommend unless you're looking for a mediocre meal that takes 2 hours. read more
