My husband and I purchased an older home that had undergone some recent updates, but we had a…read morelarger vision for the space. Our primary goals were new flooring throughout the home and a complete kitchen remodel. Since we were new to the area, I began researching contractors in the Sacramento region. I also received a recommendation from a friend for a local contractor, so we ultimately obtained estimates from both Condor and a smaller local company. When Tal Pinto arrived for our initial consultation, we walked through the house and discussed our ideas. I had a very specific vision for the kitchen, including painting all of the existing cabinetry. Rather than simply agreeing to the project, Tal took the time to evaluate the cabinets and explained that they were already extremely high quality. He told me that if they were his cabinets, he would leave them exactly as they were. That level of honesty immediately stood out to me. Instead of trying to sell us on unnecessary work, he provided thoughtful, professional advice that was genuinely in our best interest. From that moment on, I had a great feeling about Condor. When we received our estimate, it was one of the most detailed and organized proposals I had ever seen. Every aspect of the project was clearly outlined, including labor, scope of work, and material allowances. There were no surprises and no confusion--just a transparent and professional plan. Once we signed the contract, the process moved forward seamlessly. Tal provided recommendations for flooring and paint suppliers, but when we ultimately found a flooring company we preferred, he had no problem working with them. His flexibility and willingness to accommodate our preferences made the process even easier. At the time of the renovation, my husband and I were still living in Southern California, which meant we could not be on-site during construction. This could have been stressful, but Condor made it incredibly easy. Tal provided regular updates, photos, and progress reports throughout the project. When Paz stepped in to oversee the job while Tal was out of town, the communication never skipped a beat. We always knew exactly what was happening and where the project stood. As with many remodels, we encountered a few unexpected issues along the way, including cracked ceilings and a significant water leak in the master bathroom. Rather than becoming obstacles, these issues were addressed quickly and professionally. The team was proactive, solution-oriented, and committed to keeping the project moving forward. The quality of the finished work exceeded our expectations. Every detail was completed with care and craftsmanship, and the transformation of our home has been incredible. The kitchen is now my favorite room in the house, and the before-and-after photos speak for themselves. What truly sets Condor apart is the combination of exceptional workmanship, outstanding communication, organization, and integrity. Throughout the entire process, we felt informed, respected, and confident that our home was in good hands. I would wholeheartedly recommend Condor to anyone considering a remodel or renovation project. Finding a contractor you can trust is invaluable, and our experience with Condor was outstanding from start to finish.

Rod offered some ideas which was pretty sensitive to our budget. Raouf worked extremely diligent in all the tasks that you can see how he has experience in doing this kind of project and working with tools. The team worked with us all throughout the process. It was easy to negotiate with them until the end. I find that their pricing was pretty competitive with the other construction businesses and the quality of their work exceeds our expectations in the concrete job, compared to our Neighbors who had the exact same things done in our community of newly built homes.

We all struggle to find reliable, competitive, knowledgeable, LICENSED contractors who return calls, show up when promised, and who do a thorough job. We have "tried" other contractors, but Ed Riddle is simply hands-down above his competitors. Most importantly, he was truly interested in providing us finished product and design that we wanted! He didn't ever make it about his agenda and was never pushy. Last year, we were introduced to Ed when we moved to the area and needed our 5 hilly acres masticated and cleared. He wasn't the most inexpensive, but he was competitive and you get what you pay for, as they say! His bid sat on our desk for a few weeks while we tried to get 3 bids. After meeting a few other companies, it was very clear that Ed Riddle was the right guy. He followed up, he was flexible, and he partnered very well with us. Most importantly, he was truly interested in providing us finished product and design that we wanted! He didn't ever make it about his agenda and was never pushy. This year, we decided to build a large garden area and really needed the help of a knowledgeable contractor who we could trust. Again, we asked 3 companies to bid. Not only was Ed the most professional but he was also the most competitively priced. We iterated on the design for 2 months and finally landed on something we all liked. Ed and his crew began work and were here as scheduled until the job was completed. We made changes along the way and it wasn't a painful process and he kept the price the same. Now we have a beautiful fenced in garden area, a chicken run, and we are so excited to make our dream a reality this spring! One thing my husband liked about his construction is that he put a creature skirt all around the fence and the coop to make sure that rodents and the like won't steal our goodies that we grow! He even listened to me, the wife, about the things I wanted! Ed installed several railroad ties to create the steps down the hill to the garden. I'm short and he made sure that the steps were comfortable for me. He is SO GREAT! If you are in the market for a contractor for jobs both large and small, you can't do any better than Ed and his crew at R&G Construction. Do yourself a favor and look no further!!

The short version is he is extremely reliable with excellent communication and workmanship. Lock in for the long version. We have lived in our home for 12 years and were looking for a reliable contractor to remodel our entire home. We plan to be in this home for a long time and really needed someone who would show the care and attention to our home. We interviewed several contractors and Joe with CB Homes matched our communication style and genuine care for the work performed. We planned to move out of our home due to the large scope of the project and needed someone we could trust and rely on without us being inside the house. Joe proved to be reliable and trustworthy. He showed up when he said he would and if he needed to adjust scheduling he communicated clearly and worked with us. He was excellent at managing the many different elements and phases of the project to keep us involved in the key decision making while keeping the project on schedule. Many people told us no way the project would be complete by our 3 month target but we were able to move back home exactly when we planned to. The quality of the work was exceptional and Joe provided us suggestions and recommendations while respecting our unique sense of style. I.E. We wanted two mounted TVs in the living room, unique ivy backsplash in the bathroom and removed 5 windows since we like low lighting in the house. We've been back in the house for 2 weeks now and love how it turned out. We are already thinking about future projects (backyard) and hope to work with Joe again.

After using our new kitchen every day for more than three months, I can confidently say we are extremely happy with the results. Joe was professional, reliable, and easy to work with throughout the entire project. He communicated clearly, stayed organized, and paid close attention to every detail. The remodel process was smooth from start to finish, and the final outcome exceeded our expectations. What really impressed us is how well everything has held up over time. After months of daily use, the cabinets, countertops, finishes, and overall craftsmanship still look fantastic. Nothing feels rushed or cheaply done -- the quality and durability truly stand out. You can tell Joe takes pride in doing the job right the first time. Our kitchen is now more functional, beautiful, and comfortable than we imagined. It's rare to find a contractor who delivers both excellent service and lasting quality, but Joe absolutely did. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and highly skilled kitchen remodel contractor.

We dole out hundreds of thousands of dollars each year to maintain our large property. Good Life is one of two companies that I can applaud. If they don't get it right, on rare occasion, they back up the work and get it right on the quick. Jason Khadazi is a great project manager. The quality of work, the range of services coupled with the consistent competitive bids requires that I tip my hat to this group of people, this includes the office folks as well as the field operations.

I knew this wasn't good, as fungus means moisture and dead stuff (old wood). Thankfully this isn't a "M word" story (mold). But anyone would be concerned by a weird intrusion like this so I had Good Life come out and check it out. I had been dealing with real estate recently, and I was somewhat familiar with Good Life for home inspections so I gave them a shot at this repair. Project Manager Eugene arrived with one of the construction crew and they explained what they could do to assess the problem. We scheduled them to come out and pull off some drywall and do a moisture test. The next day they were able to confirm that water was getting into the wall from a part of the outside stucco and had caused extensive dry rot down to the studs. Obviously, this is where it sounds expensive. Eugene explained in detail what needed to be done to repair the damage and to prevent a future leak. He emailed me a detailed repair with a reasonable estimate, including an up front discussion on change orders that may need to be made. I approved the estimate online and felt confident that the guys knew what they were doing. Over the next week or so the crew from Good Life worked efficiently and professionally to remove the old stucco, wood and insulation and treat the fungus affected area which about 10 feet high by 8 feet wide on the exterior. Eugene called or updated me on the daily progress in-person and was very professional. The crew was Ukrainian and spoke some English along the way but Eugene and a couple others explained everything clearly. After a couple of detailed change orders the crew put the front of the house back together with fresh wood, insulation, stucco and a brick veneer that looked especially challenging. I was very impressed with the crew's versatility in how those guys were able make the house look the same down to the paint and the landscaping that was in front. Good Life did great work and made my house look good as new. They worked quickly and effectively and left a very clean result inside and outside. The cost was a good value for the amount of work I saw completed and the attention to detail. I would definitely call Good Life again for repairs, but hopefully we're done with anything at this level. Great job guys.
