Pups waiting for their ice treats!

I couldn't wait to move to Glenwood South to try out this place! My pup is about 30 pounds and very playful. I do recommend making a profile on their app to speed up entry time - I did this and all they did was look me up and ask for vaccine information. They require you to be up to date on rabies, parvo, distemper & bordatella (every 6 months which is common for daycares and boarding places but this is even enforced at the dog park). I paid $8 for my dog's entry to try it out for the night. I was so pleasantly surprised at how nice and welcoming everyone who worked there was. They showed us around and told us the rules. My dog and guests had a blast! There are plenty dogs who love to play and also dogs there who prefer to chill with their humans. The attendants watch out for aggression (and humping lol) and correct the dogs where they see fit. I will definitely be back especially since it's right down the road. Oh and as for drinks - they have a nice variety of beers on tap and a full cocktail menu, wine & even milkshakes and mudslides. You're guaranteed to find something you'll like!

I absolutely loved the atmosphere here. My partner and I came here after work with our 6 month old puppy for trivia night and had a blast. The host was awesome, the dogs were friendly, the beer was good. 10/10 recommend. Our puppy isn't fixed yet, so we couldn't go in the off leash areas, but it seemed clean and there weren't any overly aggressive dogs. We will definitely be coming back for music bingo and doggie daycare!

We love bring out pup here on rainy or days that are too hot! Great set up, and while I wish it was a little bigger, the staff here is what makes this place so incredible. I feel like my dog is safe coming to this dog park and the staff keeps it clean and is so nice and you can tell they LOVE their job & the dogs here. 10000/10

So this place is a little tricky to find if you aren't looking for it and parking is hard because there aren't too many free spots that are usually available. However you can park in the Publix walk down the road and it's just a short walk. Entry is a reasonable $8/day and it's great that the pups have indoor AC in the summer. However the area is super small and the tile surrounding the turf gets wet and slippery. Didn't try any of the drinks but my friend got a mimosa and they didn't scrimp on the champagne so she got her moneys worth! End of the day I would come back but I would definitely want to have friends with me whereas with some other dog bars in areas like Charlotte, I would just go and totally sit by myself!

This place is pretty cool and I do like the concept. Staff is always friendly and good choices of drinks. I went on Trivia nights and there was a discounted rate to get in! My girl Millie just seems to get too anxious here so we stopped going :/

But I wanted to talk to someone because one of my dogs was in diapers and I wanted to make sure she was taken care of, so I went in. The person at the desk said it would be fine, they had lots of experience and they would send pics everyday. So I left thinking they would be well taken care of, especially after reading the great reviews. After the first day when I hadn't received pictures, I called to see if they were ok and if I could get pics. I was assured they were fine and they sent pics. The next day, nothing. I had to call everyday to see if my dogs were ok. I didn't get pictures everyday like I was promised. When I did get pictures the one time I asked why my dogs were together, in a small enclosed space, with no other dogs. I had asked that my one dog get to go out and play with other dogs, but they didn't do that. They said they wanted to keep them together, although I had explained that my older dog in diapers wouldn't have cared. I began questioning whether anything I asked had been done. We paid over $1,000 for a week and don't feel that the service we received was worth it. There are lots of great reviews here but we can't add to them.

Dog Gone Happy came through for us. I was nervous, and Glitch went in hesitantly, but when I went to pick him up. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a place.

I always feel a bit guilty leaving my Bengal cat behind when I take off but what can you do? Thankfully, Raleigh Pet Sitters has become a reliable part of the team that makes my traveling life a bit easier with pet-sitting and general home upkeep. Before you sign up as a client they do an in-house visit to first get the details, smart idea. At $19/day for a visit which includes taking care of kitty-fido, grabbing mail and more, I've used them several times over the last year or so. They've been reliable and good with communications while I'm out. They also try to pair you up with the same pet-sitter for consistency which is a nice plus. And if you follow their Facebook page, they post regularly on their visits which is a good way to stay engaged. So overall no complaints about Raleigh Pet Sitters, they have done a very solid job for me and yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll be using them again. If I could only get my cat out from under the bed while I'm gone, now that would be a pet-sitting miracle...

When setting up boarding, I followed online steps to generate an estimate only to be told by automation that they didn't give estimates. Prepare for things like that to just happen. Good luck getting them to answer the phone. I tried putting my dog in daycare for a couple days so she could feel the place out before her stay and I kept getting brick-walled. They never, within 45 days, had an opening. I was told they were getting such a demand that they have to turn away regulars. When you set up a profile, you fill in important info about this and that. It's mostly easy. I did so, preparing for a getaway about a month and a half later. My puppy Angel wasn't spayed at the time. By the check-in date, she was spayed. I took her to the facility, signed her up, provided a bag of food I bought, and went on my trip. The website says they'll send you pics of your dog in activity. Two days into my vacation, no pics. I called, no answer, so I left a message. I was eventually texted back with them saying I hadn't signed up for it. Okay, my fault. Keep in mind, you have to sign up for this. Then I found out she wasn't playing with the other dogs because they had assumed she wasn't spayed. Again, I had no idea about this, but you have to take it upon yourself to update ALL information in the profile, as the staff operate off that. So...after finally getting someone on the phone, I had the profile updated and Angel was clear to play with other dogs. The pics they sent me were 4 blurry, hastily taken photos of Angel and another dog in the lobby. Nothing of her taking action in the play area or anything. And no photos of her playing the next day. While the woman who contacted me was great and literally went above and beyond in trying to please, the results weren't satisfactory. It's a good place - don't get me wrong. But they tell you almost nothing, the website features seem neglected, the pics weren't good and communication is tough to come by. A.

She came home with what appears like bite marks on her leg and scratches on her tummy. Scratches are understandable as some dogs have sharp claws, but the rest is inexcusable. She was very skiddish when we got her home. She was very dirty AND she smelled like urine. This is neglectful treatment of my dog, of ANY dog. Never going back to this Dogtopia location.

My dog weighs thirteen pounds. He was repeatedly being humped/mounted by three dogs. This went on for twenty minutes as the "coach" in the room did nothing about it. My dog could very likely have been hurt. I called in and only then the coach began breaking up the humping, but it was relentless. She didn't stop the problem, just tried to break it up. The stress on my little dog must have been awful. They moved out one of the dogs eventually. I was told there is no limit on the amount of dogs allowed in the room. There are too many dogs to manage from what I saw. When I got my dog he reeked of urine and general dog odor. It was disgusting. I would never take my dog there again. I do not believe it is a safe place judging by the lack of care for his well being. I have had other dogs at daycare before and they never came out smelling like that. Please take care when considering this place. I am just now reading the reviews and I see I am not alone in my negative review.
