I am posting for my 88 year old Mom. She posted on her Facebook. I have also gone here and think they are amazing I I went this afternoon to the West Valley smog on Sinaloa Road in Simi. I just wanted to put a shout out. These gentlemen were so extremely nice. My car was in and out in 15 minutes and because I am a bit elderly at 88. I asked them if they would put the sticker on for me. Is it hard for me to bend down they my put the sticker on from the DMV but they scraped off all the old ones cleaned my license plate and all with a big smile, I highly recommend them for a smog and DMV registration you get your sticker right away from them. If you want a quick and affordable smog check, this is the place to go! After searching a smog check place that doesn't rip you off, I stumbled upon this place after searching on Yelp. This shop is located past the goodwill store on LA blvd on Sinola. It's in the very back of the lot, next to a different car/auto shop. Parking can be tight but there is parking available. Since I brought my car back to Cali from Michigan, I didn't know what I needed to get done and where, but the guy that helped me told me since my car is considered from a different state, even though I purchased it in Cali, that I would need to go to the DMV to get it into the system. But I guess if I need it done again later on, I wouldn't have to submit my smog test to DMV directly, which is great to know. I was in there for maybe 20 mins and was also able to get a discount by showing a coupon that was posted on their website. They just do smog test and don't fix problems in the cars but I would also highly recommend them. I'll definitely be coming back here! read more

I called in with a few questions and they answered the phone immediately. Chris was very helpful getting all my questions answered. NOTE: they do not make appointments, which is understandable, so I suggest calling ahead, get a rough estimate of how many cars are currently being serviced, and when would be the best time to show up. I came about 20 minutes after talking on the phone and there was absolutely no line by then! My car is newer and did not require it to be ran on the dyno. It was done in around 10 minutes!!! They submitted my information electronically and can give you your tags ON SITE as opposed to waiting for the DMV to mail you them (for a nominal fee if you choose). Don't forget to mention the $29.95 special currently offered on their website. This does not include specific and necessary additional fees; the whole thing comes out to around $45 out the door which is still a great price (lowest I could find in the area). I was referred by a relative and will definitely go back again. PARKING NOTE: They are located behind the Goodwill Store in Simi Valley. Take the second left if you are coming from Los Angeles Ave, as there is no way to access the shop from the Pep Boys/Goodwill parking lot. read more

This is the best place ever to get your car smogged. They are so fast and have a quiet office you can wait in so you don't have to hear the noise of the testing process. Bring cash. The regular price is about $65 but they may have an internet coupon--make sure to check ahead and ask about it before they test your car. Chris went out of his way to help me with a DMV mistake , he does not even work at the DMV but they could not get the smog located even though it was electronically submitted by west valley smog , so while I had very poor service , hours wait (they couldn't figure out how to deal with smog report ) Chris more than made up for it and did their job as well , sending me proof it was submitted and being somewhat of an emotional support. It's nice that we still can run into great customer service , that's above and beyond , when really DMV is not even his issue but he made my day even easier , even directing me to speak with a manager and so on , after an hours of DMV workers not understanding how to look up a smog report . This place is a little hard to find because it's tucked away behind a few buildings off of Sinaloa behind Pep boys, but if you are looking for a smooth process then I highly recommend them. I've gone to them on a few occasions and have always found the process to be very smooth and efficient. I even brought my daughter's car in which had a CARB legal intake but the sticker fell off. Not a problem. The guys looked up the part and confirmed that it was legal and proceeded to finalize my smog check. It may have been a slow day or I may have been lucky but in either case I was literally in and out in practically 15 minutes. Again, super smooth and efficient with no hassles. Brought my mini van in today for a smog check, thinking it would take a while I was prepared with an iPad for my daughter (she's 4, and mostly behaves but you never know) to keep her busy. First off let me say, was greeted with a smile. The technician who performed the smog check has great customer service. Told me it'll be done quick. In my head yea ok. Heard that before.
