Pumpkin hotcakes
Kim F.

This is our go to for breakfast. My boyfriend always gets the 3 eggs over easy with home fries. I always try something different when I go. The last time I got the pumpkin pancakes because, if there is something pumpkin on the menu, I am going to get it. Good amount of pancakes and great flavor...they just seemed like they might have been sitting for a few before they came out. They had that spongy pancake feel as opposed to that crisp yet fluffy texture. But overall pretty good. Their coffee is always good and hot. Service is always fast and pleasant. Is definitely a staple in our regular rotation.

One of my go to places in town. I go here a lot with my fiancée, best friend, and co-workers. Everyone there is friendly and they make sure you get served in a timely manner, even if it's during busy hours. The breakfast menu with some of the best out here! Their omelettes are always good with a good selection of different ones. I've been here for lunch as well and the specials they have for lunch are just as good. It's what you expect from a Jersey diner, classic and friendly environment. Give it a go if you're in town.

Food was good but gave this place two stars bc of how dirty it was. We came here first thing in the morning and I was surprised to see how unkept and filthy the floors were. It looked as though no one has swept & mopped the floors in weeks! The booths were torn and under our table there was food and crumbs. We had to ask for a new mug bc the original one we got had lipstick on it. I'm actually surprised we even stayed to eat! Our waitress was very nice and food/coffee was good but that's about it. I probably wouldn't come here again. If the owner reads this, I suggest doing daily visits to confirm the staff is cleaning properly and have the ceiling tiles with the water marks replaced.

Atmosphere:  I wasn't the diner to be so big.  It was a big restaurant building with plenty of booths, a full-length bar, and a dessert case.  For some reason, I had pictured it to be much smaller. Coffee: The waitress brewed hot coffee, and it was good.  There was nothing unusual or unique about it, but it tasted good. Food: The Westampton Diner has a lot of choices, and the menu is massive.  To be honest, I wasn't expecting it to have that many choices, and I had no idea what I wanted.  I've been back a couple of times since and my favorite was the steak and eggs.  My brother had ordered it the first time we went, and it looked good, so I decided to give it a shot the second time, and I'm happy I did. The portion size is huge.  The steak itself is roughly a pound, and with the over-easy eggs, it's definitely a lot.  It also came with hashbrown and toast. I had run about 10 miles in the morning and was still full. Service: Both times I've been, the service at the Westampton Diner was fast.  The waitress refilled our drinks quickly, and the food came out quickly.  On top of that, the waitress was extremely friendly always had a story to tell us when she returned to our table. Cost: For the steak and eggs, and coffee, the cost was $15.  The portion size was massive. Overall Summary/Would I Come Back? I liked the Westampton Diner, and I'll be back again.  It's a fast, inexpensive diner.  It's one of my favorite in that area!

I will start by saying if you are one of those people "like me" who doesn't like to get take out breakfast because your scared it's going to be wrong or mushy I get it. I usually only dine in here and it's always good! But because of this virus going around I got take out! Let me tell you, everything was fresh, potatoes and scrapple were crispy as requested and everything was AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for making my day! I needed this!

Inside, the food was fresh, plentiful, and delicious. We chose side salads instead of fries and they were a great size to start the meal. I had the open‑face Turkey Reuben and the portion was definitely shareable and very good. My husband had the fish and chips and the cod was fried perfectly, 4 nice fillets, crisp outside and tender inside. He swapped the fries for a baked potato and it tasted like it came straight from the oven, hot and fluffy. They offered a long list of specials for 16.99 that included beverage, soup, salad, an entrée and dessert. The cakes and pies looked fabulous and many were ordering dessert. We were too full this time, but next visit we'll save room. Our waitress, Lala, was wonderfu, attentive, friendly and always checking in at the right moments. The manager greeted us warmly when we arrived and again when we left, which added to the friendly atmosphere. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out. We would definitely recommend this diner and would happily return.

Soup came with - my cup of Chicken Pastina was very good and tasty. The salad was pretty good but the steak needed more flavor. The 1000 Island didn't taste homemade like at most other places I dine. They had a decent crowd for a Wednesday night. Their dessert case looked amazing and I heard two tables ordering cake and Oreo cheesecake!!! I hit the bathroom before heading out. Nice decor but dirty and a fly was hovering around. Sweet server named Emma was probably the highlight . One and done for me - sorry.

We were sat down in the middle of the restaurant right behind the bussing station which wasn't ideal (lots of traffic and noise of the cup stacking). The menu was extensive, which sometimes just as bad when trying to decide on what to have! We decided on the turkey dinner and the vodka chicken parm. Each entree came with a soup or salad and a dessert. I got the tortellini soup and my boyfriend got the salad. Great little side salad and the tortellini soup was very filling. Our entrees came out pretty quick. Both entrees massive! The vodka chicken parm had two large chicken cutlets. They had just the right amount of coating, and the chicken was not too thin or too thick. The Vodka sauce was to die for. My turkey dinner was very good and hit the comfort food spot I was looking for. The only thing is I prefer a brown gravy but overall, still very good. We each got a slice of cake and brought it home as we were stuffed from our dinner. We had a ton of left overs. They all heated up well the next day. Very much enjoyed our food. Will be back!

Other servers were busy, too and they still took care of their tables and also, IF our server was slammed with a Table of 8-10, wouldn't you ask for help or ask for another server to just check back on us... this is How they Make their Money! It was More than 45-50 minutes before we even got our food and I got Up to Pour my Own coffee refill because our server literally never came back, but she was serving and caring for the huge table sh was Sat with. Where is the help?? Nowhere. That's where. When our food finally came out a few minutes ago, after waiting almost an hour, the toast was burnt. Most of the food looked disgusting and our server said to us we're still waiting on the sausage so clearly no one put the food in. I'm not sure if she forgot to enter our food into the computer, but this was completely inexcusable and all she kept saying was she's so sorry that she was with the other table. Well, we get it if you're slammed, but why wouldn't you open your mouth and ask for help when there's tons of other servers just walking in circles they could've stopped on by we got up and left and we will not be returning. I don't care if Jesus Christ himself comes down from heaven and says to return now I have to go home and make food for myself and my husband and I am now hungry, which didn't need to happen.

I NEVER write reviews, but this "restaurant" was so disgusting, so overpriced, and so flat-out terrible that I feel like it's my civic duty to warn everyone. The food was a straight-up nightmare. The mac and cheese was so watery it looked like cheese-flavored soup. The eggs were slimy, sticky, and honestly impossible to eat. Even the fruit tasted old and mushy, like it had been sitting out for days. I ended up with a stomach ache afterward -- and that should've been the first red flag. But it gets worse. I put my leftovers in the fridge and ONE DAY LATER they were covered in mold. MOLD. That's not just bad, that's dangerous and unacceptable for a place serving food to the public. The bathroom was tiny and uncomfortable, barely enough room to move, and for how expensive everything is, the quality is insulting. For the amount they charge, this is borderline criminal. The whole place should be inspected, shut down, and rebuilt from the foundation up -- because right now it's an embarrassment. Save your time, your money, and your stomach. DO NOT EAT HERE. We came to Amy's because we were in the nearby area and it might be my new favorite breakfast spot. The entire place looks like an old school diner that has seen better days, but to me that makes it even more endearing. There is no glitz or glamour in the decor but all the love is in the food and service. Our server brought us their GIANT menu of skillets, pancakes and more. It was a tough decision to make but I got the southern sampler which came with the MOST DELICIOUS grits I have ever had in my life. The sampler consisted of two large pieces of perfect french toast, a crispy chicken cutlet with spicy syrup and a generous serving of grits topped with tons of bacon and scallions. The portion was big enough to share, but trust me, you won't want to. My hubby got an omlette with chorizo that was really tasty and my son was obsessed with their french toast. The prices of breakfast were also comparable to a Cracker Barrel, but the service and taste was amazing. Definitely get there.

By the time they let me go, it was after two o clock and I was hungry enough to consider eating the clipboard having been required to fast since the night prior. Instead, I drove over to Golden Dawn Diner, an old Route 130 diner that proudly runs on solar power and seems determined to keep the great New Jersey diner civilization shambling onward at least another few decades. The parking lot looked a little lonely when I pulled in. Not dead exactly, just resting its eyes. Inside were a handful of regulars who had the settled look of people who know which waitress works Tuesdays and which booth wobbles. My kind of crowd. The waitress appeared almost before I sat down. I did not need the menu. Two scrambled eggs, home fries, white toast, scrapple, coffee. Scrapple, for the uninitiated, is what happens when Pennsylvania Dutch thrift and ingenuity collides with breakfast meat and nobody asks too many questions afterward. It is made from pork "scraps," cornmeal and existential resignation. Fried correctly, it is uniquely magnificent. Mine was magnificent. Thin slices, crisp around the edges, soft and moist in the middle, clearly worked on a grill by somebody who respected the material. The eggs were right, the home fries actually tasted of potatoes, and the coffee arrived hot and kept returning as faithfully as a Labrador retriever. The food came out with astonishing speed, which under the circumstances may have saved me from gnawing on the booth. Eighteen bucks including tip. If in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
