There are a couple of diners closer to home that we regularly visit. Wanted to try this newly-opened diner. Formerly the Voorhees Diner that closed over a year ago. Much better quality of food and service. The staff seemed to actually enjoy being there and even if the interior was basically the same as the prior diner, everything was clean and didn't smell of dirty rags. Bathroom was redone, which to me, is a good sign that the new owners are paying attention to the finer details. Menu is huge with many pages of options from "Mini-Meals" to All-Day Breakfasts, Sandwiches, and plenty of Lunch/Dinner options. Best part, they are open 24/7, which is great for those working at Virtua Hospital down the street. We'll be back again for sure. read more

This Diamond in the rough was previously named the Voorhees Diner. Our hearts broke when it closed down a year or two ago. We were ecstatic when it opened back up. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are a good size. The desserts are unmatched and amazing. read more

We went for breakfast around 8:30 on a Monday. It was not crowded. The service was great. The french toast and bacon were good. The eggs were just ok. The home fries were overcooked. The prices were great compared to other places these days. We will try it again. read more

Pleased to see Harmony is firing on most cylinders from our recent visit. It is a welcome addition to the food options around the area. We noticed that the food is good quality, service overall is good, and our consensus is that the value is great. Just about all of the prices are competitive especially considering the larger size of the portions. Most meals come with complimentary soup for no extra charge. (Choosing French onion will result in an up charge but there seem to be three other options that change daily and are complimentary.) The entrees come with soup or salad and a free slice of cake of the day. The portions are huge - easily enough for two meals in most cases. As I said the menu items we tried ranged from very good to average. One complaint would be that they are heavy on the salt/sodium. The harmony menu is sprawling, and it seems that breakfast and the dinner menu are both available at all times. Pancakes for dinner anyone? Service is generally good and our two visits were pretty consistent. I will say that the servers needed to be reminded about a thing or two that they forgot but not a deal breaker. On a warm day that we visited, the air conditioning was blasting cold closest to the host counter and front door and then tapered off and it was pretty warm over on the opposite side of the restaurant. I really liked the taste of their food. I ordered the meatloaf meal with mashed potatoes and green beans. To be honest. I ordered the meatloaf meal with grilled onions, mashed potatoes and broccoli. Unfortunately, they didn't do any customizations and they were extremely busy. I kind of felt they were under staffed because initially I called for takeout. They were unable to forfill the order for takeout so I had to go inside to order. Overall, it's a new business and I feel they are still working out the kinks. More than a year ago I suggested to the manager of the Pandora Diner that they purchase The Voorhees Diner. I was laughed at and shot down. But they DID buy that Diner and converted it into The Harmony Diner. It is a HUGE SUCCESS !!! The Menu is great, the prices are comparable to other diners, the quality of the food is awesome, and the servers are exceptional. I have been vindicated. read more

Food... awful, service... all wrong... atmosphere was not bad. My daughter and I both ordered scrambled eggs soft.. my daughter's eggs came out fried hard sunny side up and my eggs were burnt. Sent them back and the eggs STILL not right. Spoke to manager and her attitude was on the funky side. She spoke to our server, Carol who lied and said we ate all our food! Manager refused to ask the person who bussed our table about the food we did not eat. This place is a definite no return! I really wanted to have a conversation with the server... Finally a diner that does diner food right! The previous diner that was in this location was dreadful, but my first visit to the new Harmony diner was harmonious. My son and I went for dinner. Don't let the name of their "mini meals" fool you. I got a lot of food. I ordered the chicken parm and it came with choice of soup or salad, spaghetti and dessert. All for under $18. The sauce was just right, the chicken thin and crispy, but not dried out. My son got a chicken with vodka sauce sandwich which came with soup and fries. Our whole bill came to $36 after tax and both of us had leftovers. The menu is huge and I plan on being a regular to try different things. read more

Went there tonight 8/28 was crowded once seated sat for an extended period. Had 2 different servers say they would find our server. Well finally ordered after a 30 + minute wait. We visited harmony diner for first time last week. We were so impressed! Not only was there a "true Jersey Diner" feel, the food was fantastic! And the portions were enormous! Very reasonably priced. My first time coming here was very good. So we came back for a late evening meal. I truly hope that my experience is a result of opening pains and not indicative of normal service. After we got seated, it took almost 10 minutes for the manager to come get our drink orders. A while later, our waitress came by to take our drink orders, and we eventually got our drinks. After placing our meal orders (3 breakfast meals and a soup), we waited over 30 minutes. The soup came out and then we found out somehow the kitchen lost our order. (Or the waitress forgot to submit it.) Eventually our food did come out. It was exactly what we expect from a NJ diner. We will try again, as we are rooting for this place to succeed. read more

I really wanted to give this place a 5 stars but the service really needs work. We walk in and the front desk worker doesn't even acknowledge you, there's no hostess stand or indicator as to where to wait so you have no clue what to do. We try getting her attention and she rudely asked for our name and didn't even look in our direction. That really set up the whole experience on the wrong foot for us. Several other people walked in after us asking if we were in line because there really was no indicator as to who was waiting to be seated and who didn't put in their name yet. When we got seated the tip was still on the table from the previous meal and the table hadn't been set up at all. Our waitress was really nice though and the food was decent but prices were a little expensive. The ambiance of the place completely matched the old Vorhees diner so it's nice that nothing changed looks wise. Overall I'll go back to see if things improve, I really hope they do. read more

We were super excited to see a new 24-hour diner opening at this location, and we had an excellent first visit to Harmony Diner. Matthew was polite and very attentive, and the dining room was clean and comfortable. The portion sizes were large, the prices were low, and the food was delicious. Too many items on menu and then they are tasteless. My wife had first picked meatloaf, probably microwave defrosted and then toasted on the grill, so it was charred and like sawdust. Returned it for a corn beef sandwich which was mushy. I had a bland turkey sandwich with gravy not very tasty. Overall we won't go back. Prices and all the items you get like cake or pudding and coffee is the reason people are trying this newly opened Diner. Only time will tell whether it will survive. Service was good. Ambiance ok it's just like it used to be with only remodeled bathrooms. I wish the owners the best as I know they have a lot at stake but food needs improvement. read more

The pancakes were tasteless, eggs okay, coffee was excellent. Hoping that it will improve because it's so convenient.
