I was talking my husband on the phone and it was very rude of her to be yelling at me when I'm on the phone with my husband. Everyone in that office was rude. I have a disability and that's why I have a service dog and they refused and treated me very very badly. I am 65 years old with a disability and this is how they treated me.

After exhaustively looking everywhere I ordered a new pair, but had not yet taken delivery of them, when it was time to travel to my parents house for the Christmas holiday. So, I did what I usually do. I traveled only with the contacts I had in my eyes. Lo and behold, I ripped one of my contacts while taking them out on Christmas day. I have a very strong prescription (-6.75) so there was no way I was able to drive back home to the Boston area without having corrected vision. On Dec 26th I must have called every single Optometrist, Eye Center, Walmart Eye store, etc. in the greater Hartford area, to find out that they were either closed, unable or unwilling to help. I had thought it would be easy to just buy a box from someone as I had my prescription in my car (lucky break) but no such luck. On the off chance of success and in desperation I left a message on Sight, LLC's voicemail. Little did I know but this paged Dr. Lambright on her own holiday travels in the Midwest and she called me back. Not only did she arrange for her employees in her store to give me a sample contact lens, but she did it for no charge. I am obviously very grateful to her, and I can't help but recommend her services. If her regular customer service is anywhere near as good as my experience, Sight LLC is definitely worth your visit when you look for new contacts or glasses.

WEX later advised me that the transaction was rejected because of the expense/merchant coding used by the provider. When I contacted the office after calling 3 times, I was told that other customers had experienced similar issues, but no accommodation or solution was offered. Because I could not use my FSA funds as expected, I was forced to cancel my eyeglasses order. I found the experience disappointing and frustrating. Now my insurance has been billed for the eye exam and I have to go find another optical shop that knows how to submit FSA payments. I should not have to pay out of pocket because they have known about this issue and basically lied and said they could handle FSA expenses when they obviously cannot.

I made the mistake of selecting this place based on the reviews found on Google, so for those who…read moredon't know--those reviews are not reliable because positive ratings there can be bought from bot farms in China and elsewhere. First off, the doctor's services are professional, but customer service was substandard. When I first arrived, the woman at the front desk mentioned that there "might" be a fee for my contact lens fitting. I didn't think much of it at the time. I should've asked how much, because it turned out to be much more than expected. Ok, fine. But what bothered me was that I didn't find out until it was time to settle the bill. It felt like an ambush. The other humourless woman that helped me select my lenses seemed annoyed at my insurance coverage questions, and I couldn't get a straight answer about the total out-of-pocket expense, including the fee that was dumped on me. Everything was an evasive reply, or a "gotcha" answer. The visit ended costing way more than I had planned. The thing about cash grabs, is that they only work once. So forget about repeat customers. Lesson learned.
