It was so nice that everything was laid out clearly. We knew how much time we had for each activity. Our first stop was to the national park. We were getting intermittent rain alternating with sunshine so it was pretty wet. Also the park is on marshlands so even more wet than normal land! lol. We got dropped off by one of the board walking trails. It's very scenic & beautiful despite the rain. The sun came out at times. So nice to get some fresh air & there were birds, frogs, fish all around. Our next stop was at the Presqu'ile lighthouse, beach & visitor center (all near each other). The beach is small & rocky but it was so nice to be near the water. After the lighthouse we got to wander around the small visitor center. It has two single washrooms, a small history room, & a small gift shop. Next was our lunch stop at the Big Apple. There are around 4 food trucks outside the main building. There's a petting zoo also. Inside the main building there are washrooms, a candy store, baked goods, souvenirs, a burger joint & a bar. I liked the big apple but it would be hard to get there without a car. I liked that we got to pay for our own lunch because that also meant we could get whatever we want. Sometimes the day trips include lunch & has a limited menu especially for people with food intolerances. After lunch we got to go to Old Mill Alpacas. Here we got to feed the alpacas, and walk the alpacas. The owner of the farm also did a quick talk about alpacas. It was very interesting! Because of the rain it was muddy of course so we got dirty but I didn't mind as I was prepared with my waterproof boots. Also short trips informed us of weather conditions in an email before the day trip. After the alpacas we had a 30 mins break for dinner at a highway enroute rest stop. Too bad these enroute places don't have better food options. Anyway short trips has no control over that. Our drop off was on time. Overall we really enjoyed our tour with short trips. We would go on another tour with them for sure. Since we don't drive or have a car this is a really nice way to see parts in Ontario we wouldn't normally be able to see.

He was attentive and friendly, and his knowledge on not only Toronto, but Canada, and many other places/topics was endless and incredible! We were lucky to have him as our tour guide. He gave our group great recommendations and answered all of our questions. He was a very safe driver and was kind and helpful to the entire group. The trip itself was fantastic, the Niagara Falls view was breathtaking and magical. The amount of time at the Falls was perfect and gave us plenty of time to walk around the mall area and also view the Falls multiple times. The maple syrup tasting near the Falls was a nice little treat as well!

We caught our tour bus from Toronto to Niagra Falls (a 90-minute drive), ate lunch, saw the falls from our boat (The Maid of the Mist), spent an hour in town (which was very nice), went to the teaching winery (where I found my new favorite wine-Ice Wine), then came back to Toronto. David (our tour guide) was first rate. He made the time fly by with his knowledge of the history of Toronto, Niagra, and Canda in general. And Brian (our driver) was a master at getting us through the Toronto traffic to and from the falls. Roxanne, our driver, was amazing as she navigated Manhattan traffic, taking the bus through spots that most would avoid even in a compact car. The bus itself was clean, although the seats were less than comfortable for such a long drive, even with frequent rest stops. The hotel was lovely, and breakfasts were very good. We likely will not do another bus tour, preferring to set our own schedule, but this was an excellent way to see New York for the first time.

Our Tour Director was Natasha and Driver named Miriam on a Kunkel coach bus. The trip was scheduled for travel on day 1 and 4. Day 2 and 3 was a guided tour and happened to be two of the hottest & humid days in NYC; 90 followed by 100 degrees temperature only! The hotel was very nice and the guided part of the trip was just enough history and information about the sights to make it a very memorable vacation. Crossing the border was an unbelievable experience, both TO in record time and BACK having the bus searched, all luggage and all passengers had to carry in all their belongings & purchases into the Customs office for processing. Additionally, the guide mentioned the tip policy -- $10 per person, not included -- at least three times over the course of a four-hour tour. Bringing this up repeatedly felt inappropriate and uncomfortable. When directing us to locations, he provided only general verbal directions rather than walking the group to each spot. We also observed the guide loudly conversing with the driver throughout the ride, and the driver appeared to take and remain on a phone call for an extended period while operating the vehicle -- a safety concern worth noting. The tour guide was quite accommodating to on-the-day itinerary changes, which was appreciated, but again, this flexibility came at the cost of efficiency--those who were ready had to wait around for others, which added to the delays. The bus itself was clean and well-maintained, and both the driver and tour guide were friendly. One nice feature of the tour was that we could choose which attractions to opt into, such as the Skylon Tower, the boat tour, the Behind the Falls experience, and the helicopter ride. However, for those who chose to skip certain attractions, it meant waiting around or backtracking to pick up others. While this is understandable to keep the group together, it felt inefficient--especially for people who simply wanted to reach their chosen destination and enjoy it at their own pace. Because of these cumulative delays, we ended up with significantly less time at Niagara Falls itself, which was the main reason for taking the tour. Stops at the Whirlpool and Flower Clock were rushed as a result, and felt more like quick photo ops than meaningful visits. One particularly disappointing part of the tour was the unexpected mandatory stop at a maple products store, which wasn't listed as compulsory. We spent nearly an hour there, and it felt out of place and more like a tourist trap than a genuine part of the Niagara Falls experience. The guide encouraged us to buy souvenirs there rather than at the actual falls, but in hindsight, the shops at Niagara Falls had better quality items at more reasonable prices. It felt like there may have been a partnership in place that prioritized business interests over the tour experience. Another small but annoying detail was the repeated mention of tipping. There were mandatory 15% tip signs all over the bus, and the tour guide brought it up again during boarding. I understand the need for tipping, but the constant reminders felt excessive and a bit pushy. The tour felt more like a group shuttle than a guided, informative experience. If you're just looking for a way to get to Niagara Falls and don't mind some waiting around, this might suit your needs. But if you're hoping for a deeper understanding of the area or a more time-efficient way to explore, I'd suggest looking elsewhere--either a more focused tour or just taking public transit and doing your own thing once you arrive.

From start to finish, this was an extremely professional and well-organized experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and kept everything moving smoothly throughout the day. One of the best parts is how convenient the pickup system is -- they have pickup locations near all the major hotels in Toronto, which makes the whole process incredibly easy for travelers. There are several add-on options for the tour, and I highly recommend three of them: 1. The boat ride into the falls 2. Journey Behind the Falls 3. The helicopter ride The helicopter ride especially is one of those "you only live once" experiences. If it's outside your budget, though, the boat ride and Behind the Falls are still more than enough to make for an amazing full day. One thing I'd personally skip is the tower stop. The views are fine, but honestly the tower in Toronto is much better. Now for the one major warning: the cancellation and rescheduling policy is brutal. Even if your flight is delayed or canceled and you provide proof, you are still out the full amount. No refund, no reschedule, no flexibility. We learned this the hard way after our flight got badly delayed. I contacted them hoping to move our booking to the next day and basically got told, "good luck and goodbye." That said... the story has a happy ending. We ended up sprinting through the airport, grabbing a taxi directly from the terminal to the pickup location, and arrived at 8:03 for an 8:00 AM pickup. I had been communicating with them during the chaos and they agreed to hold the bus for five minutes. We used three of those five minutes like it was the final scene of an action movie... but we made it. In the end, I absolutely recommend this tour. Just book carefully, maybe avoid scheduling it immediately after your arrival flight, or get travel insurance for peace of mind. If you plan ahead, you're going to have an incredible time with a professional, organized tour company at Niagara Falls.
