They saved our turkey dinner for Thanksgiving Day! I brought the wire tray that a turkey sits on while being cooked to see if a broken frame could be repaired with a weld. The response that "yes" he could fix the problem with a spot weld and that he do it at that time. When I asked how much it would cost he replied something like, "I won't charge you anything for it". I went back to have a fresh cat installed and I have no complaints about the quality of the welding. As always it was done well and at a reasonable price. I supplied the catalyst (so obviously he isn't making any profit on the parts) and the labor price was still reasonable. As for my prior comments about show car quality welds, in the past I have been in during the week so there was a slightly different crowd. On Saturday there were some older hot rods there. If they are getting the work done (it will be eyeballed by many I'm sure), clearly when called for, he will do much nicer work than on a daily driver. Drop by and get a quote. I do suggest calling ahead if you want it done yesterday because he isn't a giant shop with 6 guys waiting around to sell you a $200 catalyst for $500. If he's busy, the whole shop is busy. read more

I thought this place was a great value. They were pretty cheap, and very close to my house. I recently upgraded my exhaust and subsequently removed the exhaust that these guys made. I didn't realize how bad it was. Highly recommended you go elsewhere for quality work. If you want a cheap fix, these guys should do. See my pics. read more

After reading good reviews, & hearing good things about Westcoast Muffler, I recently took my 89 Trans Am by there. It had an exhaust leak on the drivers side, where the pipe & manifold connect. It had been getting louder and louder. I stopped by early on a Saturday morning. The gentleman looked under the hood and immediately saw what the problem was. It was a bad "donut" & flange. He put the car up on the rack, and went to work. Less than 30 mins later, he had the new parts installed. He even noticed the passenger side pipe / manifold connection was loose, so he tightened it down. He inspected the complete exhaust pipe, and spot welded a couple of rough areas. My car has never been this quiet since I have owned it, and seems to have more power. He charged me an outrageously low, low price for the quality work he did. Good quality service at great prices. the difference between this shop and others is that the employees actually have your best interest in mind. They actually provide quality service at realistic prices. These people are not limited to just exhaust work. I had them relocate some of the fuel tubing in my truck to a safer location and some new gaskets installed on the top end of my motor. I also Had some broken welds and busted exhaust brackets on my exhaust system on my chevy truck. They were very attentive to the issues i had. I also needed to have a new starter installed which i had bought on online and they installed it for a great price too. This place is no bull, over all just great people. 10/10 read more

I needed to repair a small crack on my muffler so I called West Coast Muffler as they were close to where I was at the time. Good thing I called first because the person who answered the phone was super rude. They wouldn't give me any information, kept giving me the run around over simple questions, talked down to me and made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them, and sounded so shady. I ended up going to Lams auto repair instead which is just a block or so down. Good service and no nonsense. read more

Do not go here! They messed up my muffler. They chopped off my pipe without measuring. Cut corners welding. Piping had a air leak. If I didn't check work I would be wasting gas with the leak. Came back to them and they already knew the problem. Very bad business. Bad!!! Worst experience. I felt cheated. read more
