    Great service, fixed my 12 volt kitchen pendant lamp when nobody else would even look at it. Lamp was up and running in 24 hours.

    I was forced to use this company by my builder when my house was built, and the experience has been…read moreextremely disappointing. I purchased several light fixtures from them, only to later find the exact same lights at Home Depot for one-third of the price. On top of that, about ten of the fixtures were missing a small bolt/nut that holds the shade in place. This makes changing a bulb extremely difficult. Only one fixture included the correct part, which is how I even realized the rest were missing. I searched every hardware store in town for this tiny 15-cent nut--no one carries it. When I contacted Wilson, they told me to reach out to Maxim, the manufacturer. Maxim then told me to contact Wilson because they were responsible for making it right. In the end, I was told I'd have to pay $10 per light fixture for each tiny nut--something that should cost pennies and should have been included in the first place. This is unacceptable customer service. After paying hundreds of dollars for fixtures, the least they could do is provide the missing parts. You would think a lighting store would carry basic hardware for the products they sell. Instead, for what they want to charge me for a few tiny nuts, I could buy several brand-new lights. Absolutely ridiculous. Would not recommend this place at all

My other estimates have all been below $2,000 (except 1, I left them a review on Yelp also), and lowest one being a bit below $1,500. This one is by far the biggest scam in all of Kansas City. This should qualify for attempted robbery. How is this not criminal? Shameless and disgusting. Hope your business burns to the ground. Response to the below: First, learn to count and type. There are 2 other companies that I left poor reviews for. People should be informed of the truth. I know that is something that is unknown to you and the people who work for you. You actually have the nerve to respond to me and try to justify? Wow. Who raised you? How can you even act surprised from my feedback? Can you focus on the pure number that I was quoted? Your "business" quoted me with $8,500 when the real cost of the job is below $1,500. Do you understand that the kids you sent to my address just tried to scam me for $7,000? Of course, with your permission and teachings! You are not running a business, you know exactly what this is. Do not make assumptions about how many companies I have had provide me with estimates based on a few poor reviews on Yelp for people like yourself. Your mind thinks this is about the price? I was expecting to…read moreschedule a time for an onsite estimate and they didn't want to schedule an estimate appointment, only wanted to schedule a time to install and told me it wouldn't be accurate to give me an estimate over the phone. It was at this point I realized they were not interested in my business. I informed them that I already had one estimate but wanted a second. He told me the estimate I received sounded fair. We ended the call, and a few moments later I get this voice message. To which I thought, no thanks. "I was just speaking with one of the guys and we thought we would come out tomorrow and take a look at the situation anyway give you a quote maybe we can do better. Give me a call at - when you get a chance thank you..."

    I was in the market for a new wall-mount oven. My husband and I went to their showroom in Lee's…read moreSummit and talked to one of their salespeople. They did not have on display what we needed to replace our current oven. The salesperson was helpful and pulled up online an oven that would have probably worked--to the tune of over $2300. Next was to have their person come to our house to pre-measure. They wanted me to pay the entire amount before the pre-measure was scheduled--which I refused since I wasn't going to pay for something if it wouldn't fit properly. Also, the oven I wanted was out-of-stock with Whirlpool and nobody had any idea of when one could expect delivery. If the measurements all worked out, I agreed to pay half upfront to get it ordered. Their associate showed up for the pre-measure on a Friday afternoon and after running some compilations, said he would have to get back with us that following Monday. We said that would be fine. That was the last I heard from anybody at Ferguson--neither from that guy or from the salesperson who originally emailed me a formal quote. Not even a courteous follow-up on the project. That's been over a week ago. I guess they don't need our business--I was wanting to buy local--but their customer service is terrible. I'm done with them and since I never heard back from them, went to NFM, spoke with the most knowledgeable salesman, found the perfect oven, and saved probably @ $800 in total. Delivery is already scheduled. The ratings on Yelp for this business were somewhat to be desired but I thought I'd give them the benefit of doubt. Now I know why and I'm adding my own one-star rating.
