At the time I purchased, Barbie had told me these lightbulbs were long lasting. I think 7 or 10 years, if memory serves me correctly. I took burned out bulb to the store and Barbie replaced it. Well, a second one burned out at the beginning of this year (2023). I tried to go up once (it's near my home) and found out store was closed. So, planned to return soon but life/ health issues prevented. 7/27/23: got there today, no Barbie. I explained to a woman at the desk re purchase and needed bulb. And I handed said woman the bulb. She was condescending. First words were: "Well, they (bulbs) don't last forever"! I said that I knew this and what Barbie had said about life of bulb. The second time I had the pleasure of working with a lady who was light years removed from her coworker In terms of social skills, but who sent me home with the wrong wattage of bulb, despite having written the receipt correctly. It was silly of me not to have double checked after my first experience, I will admit, but nonetheless, I won't be back.
