This was the worst experience I've had in a long time. I had an appointment at 11:15am which was confirmed the day before. I got there early was told to take a seat and the lobby started slowly filling with people. But as time went by, one by one everybody that came after me was getting called. I didn't think anything of it at first, but then after more and more time past, the entire lobby had been called and the office was empty, except for me, sitting in a chair waiting. It's been well over an hour now and everybody that came in behind me, including a man that had no appointment got serviced, and I'm still sitting there... a full lobby and every one of them came in after me, but they were all seen! And I'm still sitting here. That's just ridiculous, I have an 11-year-old daughter at home that I need to go make lunch for and I told the lady at the front desk and all she said is I understand but how could she? She didn't leave her kid at home so that she could make it to an appointment on time and then be ignored the whole morning while sitting in a chair watching everyone else go in. It's been some time since I've been to this Dentist, but I'm understanding why. My job as a customer with an appointment is to be there on time which I was. I understand if they're a little busy, but I shouldn't be the last person in an empty lobby when I was the first person there. That's what pisses me off the most. This is by far the worst place to go! Just don't take my word for it.. my foster kid had a appointment last Monday we showed up they said they called to cancel (which i didn't have a voice mail for) so the receptionist rescheduled for today Thursday the 5th at 4 we showed up at 3:45 waited about 30 minutes he called in the back the comes back out about 10 or so minutes later saying the told him the don't have enough time to clean his teeth!! If I could rate this place a zero, I would. First appointment was back in December, they did X-rays and told me I have one cavity. Okay cool, but then told me I would have to wait 2 hours to get my teeth cleaned. What's the point of making an appointment if they are going to make you wait 2 hours. So I told them I would reschedule so they could do the cleaning and filling on the same day. Mind you they blow up your phone for confirmation of the appointment which I get but it's super annoying. Day of my next appointment they cancel saying the dental hygienist called out. Great I'll reschedule again, so I go through the whole process again. SURPRISE, the day of my appointment dental hygienist called out. Mind you every time I'm making one of these appointments I have to request work off. Then I make another appointment and surprisingly they didn't cancel. I get there and they clean my teeth and then say you're all done. I then go to the front desk and ask them if they could do the filling today. They told me the doctor is all booked for the day. So once again I have to book another appointment and request another day off. I don't know what's going on at this place but they should really figure it out. read more

Horrible experience if you have medical. They'll make you wait in the waiting room for over an hour just to take you back in and make you wait even longer. They've caused a small hairline crack in my front tooth because they decided to do a rush job on me so they could close after making me wait for 2+ hours. When I had a different insurance, they were attentive and fast. Since having medical, they really stopped caring entirely. Staff isn't informative. Never going to this place again. My daughters mouth is swollen and full of blood! (No cavities, no concerns, just a 6 Month check up). She's never had any issues with any other dentist in Clovis or Fresno prior to todays visit. I, unfortunately had a similar experience with Dentist Kaur a week ago and had to ask her to be more gentile and she dug into my gums deeply a number of time causing me to literally jump out of the chair in pain. Maribel always greets me with a big smile . The hygiene associated was also proficient with my teeth cleaning and fluoride treatment. What I will say is the standard for cleanliness should be put to the test due to the fact that the floor and equipment (at the base) was dangerously dirty. First time patient here, I am used to having to pay for my services and going to much nicer offices. The front office staff was friendly and helpful, the Drs and the staff in the back were nice. My first visit I felt that everyone was rushing and in a hurry. Honestly I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. The place needs an overall cleaning and every time I leave, I feel like I need to change clothes and shower. You can literally see dirt marks and filth all over the walls and machines. The chairs and machines are falling apart and the staff knows it. Receptionists would rather finish their conversation than to look up and help you. Also, online you can schedule a cleaning for any day, so I chose Monday and they waited until I was in the chair to let me know their hygienist isn't even in office on Mondays? So I waited 30 minutes for them to say come again for another appointment. Not very organized and very dirty. The only upside was their hygienist, Sunshine, was so nice and made me feel comfortable. Update: my sister won her complaint against Western Dental. She was forced by insurance to get 2nd opinion. 2nd dentist could obviously see, dentures didn't fit!! W.D. also was booking her extraction when Dr was only there once a month. However booked when he wasn't there. Took 12 teeth with only ibuprofen for pain. Spoke to her like she was an IDIOT . I just had the weirdest experience, I went into the office because I had an appointment scheduled and there were people being helped in front of me. So I waited for the people in front of me to be finished, and when they were, I walked up to the counter, and one of the ladies occupied herself with the phone so I took a step back and waited for the other woman to become available. When she did, I walked over to her and she got up out of her seat and walked away, so I walked back over to the original and when she got off of the phone she had gotten up and walked away so at this point, I chose to just stand in front of the counter and wait for somebody to help me, after that I had two ladies come sit at their desk, so I walked over to one once again, and they were just not acknowledging me basically!! it's Ben 15 minutes at this point, and I've been bouncing back-and-forth between 3 ladies from waiting for them to acknowledge me and ask what they can help me with, and no one did!! I didn't want to interrupt anyone if they were in the middle of something, I assume they would help me when they finished up their task, but they never did!! Yes I could have spoken up and said excuse me can I get some help? I've got an appointment. but I didn't want to be rude and bother or interrupt them by doing so, and possibly upset them. why do I need to speak up when I'm standing right in front of somebody and had made eye contact numerous times!! Well for starters. The assistant who was helping the dentist shoved the suction machine in my throat and choked me. I had to swat her hand away and remove it out of my mouth my self. And I went to the office today to get a root canal. The dentist burnt the side of my mouth multiple times even after I told him about the problem ! !! And the dentist was constantly complaining about how small my pallet was. He was rough and definitely not sincere one bit. I now have blisters on the side of my mouth and my tooth is shaved down to almost nothing and then told me to try to call back in 4-6 weeks to make another appointment to try to get my insurance to cover a crown IF my tooth doesn't break before then. I have never been so disappointed with a dentist in my life... I settled for western dental because that was the only location that accepted new patients and my insurance at the time and I was in an emergency state with my tooth. I will forever tell my experience to people and make sure everyone knows how horrible western dental is!!!! If I could rate them 0 stars I definitely would read more
