They charge $38 for propofol and $200 for the surgery, which includes cephalexin and trazodone. I'm in over $100 these past 2 visits and his ear is still filled with fluid.

The entryway is crowded and the front area staff never seem very interested in helping anyone. Everyone is nice, I just think this vet is very overpriced for mediocre care and lack of true engagement from the staff.

Back when we could go in to the building, the place was always tidy, the rooms were painted welcoming colors and the staff was always friendly to our pet, and us and that's how it should be. Now we pull in, if they don't come out immediately, we just call the number, give them our dogs name and the spot # we are parked at. It's a little odd but it is what it is. Outstanding Team all around!…read more This wasn't our regular vet but, due to a tick bite, we needed to get to a vet ASAP and didn't want to go to an emergency vet. I began searching the area an calling around as our normal vet office couldn't get us in for days. Monroe Family Pet Hospital was able to get us in same day. The process was pretty simple. Walk in, check in and wait to be called in. Very friendly environment and not at all stressful for the four legged one. The staff could not have been sweeter or easy to work with. We went in, talked about what happened and some of the symptoms that we'd noticed. They put our dog on a few medications and we were on our way. After the visit, they even called to follow up and see how she was coming and long and suggested a follow up visit if we needed anything. Everything worked out so we didn't go in for the follow up visit. Would I go back? I would, actually. We had a unique situation where our neighbor was one of the lead veterinarian's at our primary vet office. This made things a little more easy and convenient. Additionally, we trusted her and she spoke highly of the office. Recently, she left that particular office for another opportunity. We never had any problems there but Monroe Family Pet Hospital really impressed me. Enough to where I am definitely planning to go back again.

All staff was very understanding and went out of their way to answer any questions and advise us. Along the same lines, we never felt that we were being 'sold' extra unnecessary expensive treatment that we are quite sure we would have through our old vet. We drove 40 minutes each way for every appointment and need our dog had and passed many other vets along the way, Well worth the trip. When we get our next dog, we'll be back!
