I have been on the hunt for a nail salon in the valley that isn't too expensive, the people aren't rude and the service is great. I think this nail place may have all of that. I went in and wanted just a pink and white fill. The guy told me that my nails were yellow and he needed to take off. Thank goodness he did. My natural nails were in terrible shape. He fixed me up and then I had him put a whole new set on. He gave me the option of medium or dark (he said dark was just a little darker than medium) so I did dark. My only gripe, it's A LOT darker than medium. Oh well he did a great job. The woman that did my pedicure was really nice and was extra gentle when pulling out my ingrown nail (sick I know....but it happens). Anyway new Spa Pedicure chairs, clean, a little barren and $1 to use your credit card. I'll be back though! You better believe that! read more

This place does not even deserve a damn star. The lady who was helping me kept hurting me and she left my nails like looking like utter shit, one of the nails is completely crooked. You can't even tell if the nails are square or rounded off on top of the fact that she basically left my nails glued to my finger from the blobs of acrylic she put on them. I told her I was not content with her job on my nails and she said she'd fix it. She did not. When I asked for the manager she said she was the manager and then proceeded to just say it was 50 bucks and that was that that was just the best she could do with my nails. read more

I've gone to this place a few times, only because they are the closest to my house and they have done a good-enough job. But after my last visit, I will never go there again. They do not properly clean their tools and do not use brand new tools each time. They only take cash. They are higher priced than one would expect. And my toe got infected as a direct result of their actions. The owner of the shop did my toes two weeks ago. While cleaning the cuticles, she dug in and pulled (not cut), more like ripped my cuticle off until it hurt. When she was pulling, I felt like it might hurt so I said OW, and she paused for a second, looked directly into my eyes and proceeded to rip it off, like a f*cking bandaid. She blandly asked me if it hurt and I said YES and so she poured some blue antiseptic liquid on it. Repeatedly. Then, she did the same f*cking thing on the other side of the same big toe! She just pulled the skin right off! I said OW, gave her a dirty ass look and she just said "sorry" and poured more antiseptic on it. So I went on vacation - to the beach which is why I was getting my toes done in the first place - and washed my feet every night because I thought my left toe would get infected. And sure enough, it did. A little bit of pain is one thing, but dealing with a dirty toe because these people don't know how to do their job and sanitize their tools is unacceptable. There's way better places out there, don't go here!! Top Nail salon in Thousand Oaks is the only good spot I can find. read more

I made an appointment for me and my partner for pedicures. She gave me two options for an appt time and I chose the latter. We arrived 15 minutes early and were asked to come back at our scheduled appt time which we gladly did. We walked in the door at exactly the time we were told. For 25 minutes we sat there and waited. Not a word was said to us about their tardiness nor was an apology offered. We ended up walking out. This place is very unprofessional and expensive according to their price chart. I got my nails done there and I was so upset. First, I show them picture from their salon and said I want exact the same. They can't find a color and it was different. Second minus, she was trying to use instruments from nowhere. I asked her to sterilized but she said it already did. I ask to use it from individual and closed packet. She did. I went because of the reviews. I went Friday at 5:30, they close at 7pm. My nails came out fine, but I really just felt like they were rushing through the whole process. I love the massage in a pedicure and a manicure and they literally spent 30 seconds on each foot/leg and each hand. I also like when they are scraping all the dead skin off my feet (gross I know), but it really helps me feel like I got a great pedicure and I'm as good as new....again they only spent like 30 seconds on each foot. I thought I had found a place I was happy with. It just seams like there's not a nail place that respects time. I brought my boyfriend in because I really needed my nails done for work ( I'm a server). I put aside my pedicure and said give him one I'll just take a gel manicure. They should have told me I would wait until AFTER his pedicure to even begin to take off my gel nails. I just left after his $25 pedicure + tip. I was loyal but I won't be coming back. My boyfriend couldn't even enjoy his pedicure because he knew we were there for me. It was awkward, I feel they should have communicated and I would have either not come in or come in a different day. I feel like they were okay wasting my time as long as they got their money. Tracey is great at pedicures (ingrown) and gels and Peter is great at gel. I wish I could continue coming here. Communicating is just key in any situation. read more

I really love the nails here. Is it a relaxing spa place to go for pampering? NO. But, if you want your nails done well and are on a budget (heck even if you aren't) this place is AMAZING. In my mind I can soak my feet at home or go get a massage if that is what I feel like. But nails need to be done well. You will not get a long soak, scented bubbles, water or tea or champagne here, and will not get much in the massage department either with your mani or pedi. You will get expertly done nails. If you want the pampering, look elsewhere. If you want perfect nails, come here! You will leave with happy feet and hands. That's enough for me! Usually I go for the pedicures as I am a die hard flip flop wearer and LA is rough on my feet. $18 for regular, and $5 extra if you want nail art or french tips, plus your tip. They are clean and meticulous and this usually lasts me 2 weeks. WORTH EVERY PENNEY! I leave and my feet are smooth as butter. My toes are glossy. This makes me happy! Today, as my hands were in a sad state of affairs due to my unfortunate ripping off of gel a few weeks back, I came here as a walk in for help. I left 40 minutes later with full set acrylic french tips. The cost? $25 plus tip. The service? Fast and friendly as always. The nails? HOW did I not do this a year ago is the only thought going through my head. They are the length I wanted, filed EXACTLY as I wanted, with even sculpted acrylic, and a lovely glossy polish on top. And I was asked every step of the way how I liked it. So I am 100% happy with how they came out. I like being happy, and I like having pretty hands. So, in a nutshell, they are fast, friendly, and very good at what they do. The prices are great and there is ample parking to boot. Go next door for some pho when you are done and be even happier. I used to believe this was the best place for pedicures ever. Now I am convinced after my french acrylics they are the best nail place! read more

I came here for a pedicure for the first time ever and I did not like the way they did my toes. The lady was rushing and my toes just looked horrible and lumpy (she added so much nail polish). When I left literally almost 2-3 hours later my toes still hadn't dried. When I took off my sandals it smudged all of my toes. The lady that did my toes had added something in the polish because it had run out and whatever she added must've made it hard for the polish to dry. I came back the next day so that they can fix my toes and I waited for almost 20 minutes to get the work done.
