I used to frequent this place a couple years ago and then I found another nail place in the area that I love. But I decided to come back and give this spot another chance and unfortunately I had a bad experience. Instead of soaking off my previous gel manicure, the technician used the machine to scrap it off. My nails underneath burned as she did this and now that all the gel is off, I can see that a layer of my nail was removed in the process. Because of this, my nails are really messed up. They are brittle, breaking, and hurting. I usually get gel done every 3 weeks and I haven't been in a long time to get another manicure because my nails are so brittle and keep breaking from the manicure I got at this salon. I also went with my sister and she is having the same experience after we went here. It is unfortunate because the salon is lovely inside but I won't be back again.

I had a 9:30 AM appointment and was there for nearly 4 hours, only to leave unhappy with my nails. The biggest issue was communication. I showed the nail tech both a photo and a video of the design I wanted, but she barely looked at them and didn't communicate with me throughout the service. I clearly asked for a cat eye design only at the top of the nail, blended downward. Instead, she did a full cat eye on the entire nail. When I pointed it out, she rolled her eyes, seemed annoyed, and removed everything. She then tried to do a French tip version of cat eye, which still wasn't what I asked for. I tried to explain and show her the video and picture again, but she became visibly frustrated, made faces, called another tech over, and walked away without saying anything to me. The second tech was kind and did try to help but I had to wait over an hour to be helped by her. She checked in with me on each nail and asked if I liked it, and I did appreciate that. However l, I just wanted to show her the picture and for her to go based off of that, but it seemed that both of them didn't just want to look at it closely and then do my nails from that. At one point, I left the picture open and towards her so she can reference it, but she wouldn't look at it . Over all, because everything felt rushed, it also made the situation uncomfortable, like I was being overly critical or didn't know what I wanted, when I had already provided a clear reference. Despite her effort, the work still felt rushed. The final result was closer to what I had asked for, but the shaping was uneven and overall the work felt sloppy. There was also no proper cleanup under the Gel X nails, and I had to fix that myself at home. Overall, the lack of communication, dismissive attitude, and rushed work made this a really disappointing experience.

I very rarely get gel manicures but when I go on vacation I like to get one the day before and was so excited they were able to fit me in the last hour of opening. The owner was there and was so nice and they had a good selection of colors and so I tried a brand she suggested that I had never used before. I got my gel mani and pedi combo done last MONDAY 7/6, on THURSDAY 7/9 2 nails had chipped and by SATURDAY 7/11 5 nails had chipped! I was very shocked by this since I don't remember ever having gel polish chip, let alone half my nails :/ After days of frustratingly getting my chips snagged in my hair or on my clothes I remembered the owner told me for new customers they offer a 1 week chip policy but sadly for me I was on vacation Tue-Sun and wasn't sure if I would get to her salon before the 1 week cutoff and when I tried calling a few times to at least leave a voicemail that my nails started chipping by day 4 and that I would like to come in when I returned, the voicemail wasn't even setup to let me leave a message so I gave up hope on getting a resolution. PROS: Fast, friendly, free parking in back CONS: Nails chipped too easily and my big toe nails were cut different lengths. Also, they don't accept tips on your credit card which is an inconvenience for anyone like me who doesn't carry cash or use cash apps on their phone. I am not sure if it was just a random occurrence with my nails chipping or if based on the gel polish I selected but I was bummed that the nails didn't hold up to the great experience I had in the actual salon, thus the 2 stars, a 6th nail (my left thumb) is starting to lift as I type this :/ But maybe you will have better luck than me.

Very knowledgeable, walked me through everything (since it was my 1st time) & even recommended me to a podiatrist around the corner from the salon (I suffer from ingrowns!) The vibe here is 100/10. It's a nice little oasis, the music is chill enough but also, vibey. The decor here is CUTE! I felt such peace as soon as I walked in! I asked for water, and they brought it in a regular glass mug--something I found concerning for hygiene reasons. At a nail salon, it would be much safer and more sanitary to provide bottled water or disposable cups for customers. My Gel pedicure was done very quickly less t 30 minutes it felt rushed. The cuticles weren't properly trimmed, and the nails weren't deep-cleaned, which is unusual compared to other gel pedicures I've had that usually take 45-60 minutes. My Gel mani was similar- the nail polish had to be applied and removed several times, made it seem like the nail technician might not have been very experienced. Again, cuticles weren't addressed, and the process felt hurried. The salon itself is beautiful, and the aesthetic is lovely, but the service left me disappointed. I was hoping for a relaxing experience, and instead it felt rushed and just awkward vibes.

I booked specific services, but a different service was performed. I was also charged for a service that, according to their menu, included an amenity that was not provided. My cuticles were not cleaned up well either, which was disappointing. The women working in the salon smiled and were polite, but the overall experience was uncomfortable. At one point, a child of one of the women who works in the shop very openly pointed at me and appeared to be gossiping about me, which made it hard to relax during the appointment. Overall, while the staff seemed pleasant, the cleanliness, service accuracy, and atmosphere were not what I expected. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this salon based on my experience.

I had to say hello to my tech 5 mins or so into being serviced, she wasn't very chatty (which I prefer). she clearly wasn't welcoming or particularly happy to be working with my nails (I think she dislikes cat eye polishes). It could have been that they were just overbooked or short staffed.. not sure.? Didn't seem busier than they normally are. I wasn't offered a drink nor snacks like I was previously which kind of sucked considering this was a 5:30 appointment that I showed up on time to. I kind of banked on a small snack before dinner but that's OK. Anyway.. The new tech took 1hr 30min to remove gel x (removal took 30min) and a gel mani (this service took a whole hour). The technician was really struggling trying to make a heart shape with the magnet that moves the cat eye effect. My previous tech has always been able to accomplish this without issues and quickly. I honestly didn't even think it was difficult considering that all other salons are able to do it within one attempt. I also disliked that the technician kept dropping the tools and then would put them on her cart. She started spraying alcohol on them to sanitize after she noticed me looking at the cart. I think the manicure itself (trimming nails, cuticle clean up and nail shaping/ prep) was great. I'd recommend people to get a classic manicure. Not confident that I'd recommend a special effect nail. Previously I was able to get waxed, a pedicure, and a new gel x mani all within an hour so it was a little upsetting to spend nearly two hours for something was a bit more simple than my previous experience. Mind you, previous set was Gel X and this time around was my natural nail. Not too sure if I will come back considering price point & quality. Note: My two favorite techs are no longer employed at this salon (due to relocation) so I was rescheduled the morning of my appointment with a tech I have never been serviced with. I was rescheduled twice which is OK. I still tipped because they put in the time but were not able to execute.

They do take appointments which is very helpful. Plenty of parking in the parking lot out back. There also some street parking in the front off of Burbank blvd. One side is the massage chair for the spa pedicures and the opposite is the mani counter. You can also get a duo done while you're getting your pedicure. They have a pretty massive selection of colors along two walls where the waiting area is. I believe waxing is offered as well. This visit was for 2 pedicure and a gel manicure. I normally stick to classic manicure but as I wanted something to last a bit longer, gel would do the trick. Service is alway great. I've had a few people worked on me prior and it's alway been great. Everyone is great at what they do. When you sit, a bottle of waiter is brought out to you. Massage chairs are great and nice while just sitting there. Price wise is reasonable. It's a no fuss place where they have all their regulars. This visit we didn't have an appointment and walked in but was served right away.
