I had opted to keep quiet about this but it is biting my heart every single day I pass by this place. I took my car for a transmission replacement. They claimed to buy a used one. Then I was given my car back, well, running smoothly but with no receipt whatsoever, they kept giving excuses. But claiming I had a lifetime warrant and I should go back if anything happened Then less than 6 months later I went back with a whining sound from the transmission. I left them with the car, they bought time holding on to it and eventually saying it was nothing. I travelled away for a month, when i got back, car broke down shortly after so it was now over 6 months because of their delay and now they said it only had 6 months warranty (With no receipt) Currently car is sitting in need of a transmission. I guess they just repaired my transmission and therefore it lasted less than 6 months. Everyone needs to make money but it should be made with honesty. read more

Karim is truly a one of a kind car mechanic. I brought my 2007 Honda Odyssey in with an exhaust problem that turned out the be a leak and a problem with the gasket. He was polite, timely, and only charged me $64. That is unheard of in this business. Most repair shops will charge you over $100 just to look into the problem. I will not go anywhere else with my car problems. Aside, I noticed that the other comment by David B. is not completely fair since this is an auto repair shop not a specialty tractor repair shop. read more

While using my small 4wd tractor to remove snow from yesterday's 12 inch ice storm, I got a flat tire on the tractor. I limped it onto the trailer, and drove it to BP thinking they could remove the tire, fix it and I would be on my way. To my surprise, after getting the hairy eyeball from the guy pumping gas, I walked into the front office. After I finished waiting for the two mechanics to finish their conversation, they looked at me like I was bothering them. I asked them if they could fix the tire, to which the response was, "I don't want to be crawling all over your trailer to fix your tire, take the tire off the tractor and bring it back to me." I told him I could take the machine off the trailer and he could easily take the wheel off just like on any other vehicle, except he was extremely concerned that I was taking up two parking spaces with the truck and a trailer and now I had the audacity to use more space on his parking lot should I offload the machine. Again, he repeated himself, telling me that he would be happy to fix the tire if I removed the wheel and brought just the wheel back to him. I told him I was doing work for somebody and I didn't have the resources to take the wheel off and bring it back to him, and he sent me on my way. I would have been happy to pay for his services, unfortunately I didn't realize that taking the wheel off the vehicle fell under my responsibility. I went on my way to another local shop. read more

Karim is the best! Ever since my family and I moved into town 11 years ago and found Karim as a local mechanic, he has been our go-to guy ever since. I've had two cars throughout those years - a 2004 Hyundai Elantra, then a 2005 Honda Civic - both of which Karim has helped me keep on the road. He has all the best qualities of a business owner: professional, patient, honest, and friendly. In addition, he does not charge me a crazy amount of money for labor or parts while any other place would charge thousands. The most he has ever charged me was $250. I distinctly remember what he told me one time when I had him take a look at a muffler problem I was experiencing. He knew it was time for me to retire the Hyundai because it was nickel-and-diming me. That's when I bought my Honda. Everything routine from oil changes to inspection, to anything more serious like replacing a tire, welding my rear oxygen sensor back into place, or fixing the timing belts, Karim and his skilled mechanics have done it all. It's reached the point where I have not gone anyplace else for service, nor do I plan to! The only time I do is when I need something done that isn't in Karim's line of work, like paint, body work, or a new battery. Even so, he is always a good resource. I noticed earlier this year that a new guy came in. I didn't like him as much. It seemed like he was taking over, which I especially didn't like. Karim was there, but this other guy started becoming the first one to talk to the customers. He had much more of a mean streak. This was back in the winter. Based on reviews from earlier this year by other Yelp users, it's got to be the same guy they're complaining about. I think Karim realized this guy was rude and unprofessional, scaring his customers away, so then he fired him. Must be the case since I haven't seen him in a while, whether I've stopped in anytime after February of this year or just drove by. read more

This is the best place for automotive repair, period. Karim is extremely knowledgeable and above all very honest and professional. I have taken our cars multiple times and they have performed top notch work at reasonable rates. I took my wife's car yesterday for oil change, AC repair, brakes and coolant change. Karim called me and said that it doesn't need a coolant change and performed only needed service. Don't shop around. You can blindly trust them. They are very busy and number of customers at the shop at any point of time is indicative of their loyal customer base thanks to their exceptional customer service. read more

Brought car in on September 17th for oil change, new oil pan, tire rotation, alignment and to look at the noise in the steering. On that Saturday I got a text that the oil pan and oil change was done and the noise was my electric steering rack and pinion. Which Karim explain was 15+ hour job. I told him I wanted it fixed but to please provide an estimate. He told me he would have one Monday or Tuesday.. I made several calls and texts throughout the week in an attempt to find out about the estimate. Each followed with a promise of having one either later that day or the next. Finally I sent a text asking if he was too busy to please just tell me. I had not heard back from Karim since September 23rd. So today Saturday September 26 I went to pick my car up. No rotation or alignment done. Just oil pan and oil change. I will not be back and would never recommend this type of service. He is clearly very busy and should not take cars in the shop unless he car actually provide the services. Very disappointed as Karim came highly recommended. read more

This is the only place I will got for any auto service. They are extremely helpful, always willing to explain issues, and most importantly, honest about what needs to be done. My brakes were squeaking for a over a week so I went here to get them replaced. I was told that they did not even need to be replaced. Any other place would have ripped me off.
