( full hookup by office) there is no sewer connections and no cable. Could only get 3 off channels. We are here "off season" and the restaurant doesn't open until May 2. It's quite a walk down the pier to the store and restaurant. There are cabins on other side of marina from Rv sites. Plenty of ramps to put boat in water. There is not a lot of signage where to go so got to ask many questions instead of someone explaining things to you. Prices are cheap right now. Average of $29 per night.

With several campground options in the Lake Cumberland area, I think I found my favorite…read more Initially, I had planned on staying at Falls Creek Camp Ground which was just a few miles up the road, but after I discovered Conley Bottom was almost the same rate AND CB has full hookups, I made a last minute route here. When we pulled in, it was about to storm and almost dark. We were greeted at the store which was apparently closed. The gentleman explained that he would just come by in the morning to collect the due. He also said that there isn't any pre-booking available, everything is walk up only. Right now the rate in the first RV area is $24 per night. The rate increases for the season on 5/20/17. The second area RV section doesn't include sewer hook ups and is $4 cheaper. The second area is where the playground and dock access that leads to the marina is and seemed to currently be more popular than the first area. The views from both sections overlook the marina and beautifully picturesque. They have several large, pull through sites. We stayed in site L which was the closest one to the lake. None of the sites have lake access, but the marina is within a few minutes walk. A very important and possible deal breaker for anyone concerned about the drive there is that it is a narrow road and if you're heading in late when the boats are headed home, they take up most of the road and you practically have to pull off to allow them to pass.

I went to Good Sam website and this park is listed as a Good Sam park. Anyway, I still would not recommend staying here. You would be just as well down the road at the Wal-Mart parking lot. This is directly across from a truck stop and the trucks use their exhaust brakes. Very noisy all night long. Then the first night at 5am, 5:30am AND 6am the trash trucks picked up the trash from all the dumpsters in the area. One after another. The last guy must have been in a bad mood. It sounded like a war zone. If that's not enough I will say the lights all around make it seem like daylight. This park is in the middle of a very populated area.

Rodent droppings under sink and in small flipping cabinet at sink usually store sponges ! They charge $70.00 to your bill for a cleaning fee when you check out but I think they just pocket it! The office staff is full of info and very friendly! The trails are nicely laid out. Plenty of easy or hard you can choose. We were here from 2p-1am. Night driving was awesome! Great crowd of people, a good mix of young, old, and families out riding. Bikes, ATVs, jeeps, razors, and saw a tracker. Some trails were closed or blocked off - i would assume due to danger? But there were so many you didnt miss one or two. Nice views from the wildcat dome. An old train tunnel, a lost boat, jurassic park trail... so much more.

Had to disconnect water and electric to move the RV closer so my hose would reach the sewer. Not good! UPDATE: three days later and on our way back I tried dialing about 14 times while on Interstate 75 and the call wouldn't go through and not because of my phone because I had three bars most of the time so we had to keep driving because maybe they shut down

Threw a wrench in our plans but I appreciated the prudence when it comes to safety. The water level didn't rise too much and they allowed us set up our camp right along the river the next morning. The view was great and the campground was quiet. It beats camping at the state campgrounds because it is all primitive camping, there isn't a bunch of people coming and going, and NO RV's! Management was at the front of the grounds 24/7 but wasn't invading your privacy by policing the grounds. They were really nice and gave advice on what to do in the area. Plenty of activities around the campground. Hiking, river trips, rock climbing, zip lines, bike trails, nature centers. We personally hiked various trails for two days and the views and geographical features were some of the most interesting I've seen.
