The planning ahead of time was on point, and the owner was so very helpful and accommodating to our needs! We got a lot of compliments from our guests! We can't thank Barbara and team at Everleigh Vineyards & Brewing Company enough!

Both helpful with tips on what to order from their beer and wine options based off what we told them of our tastes. The grounds and building were very well kept. We chose to sit outside so our kids could run around (6 kids between us and our friend's family). They tried to light a fire for us, but that was the one downfall: all the fuel was wet from recent rain I think, so the fire never really took and we just had smoke for a while and no warmth or flames to enjoy watching. But they tried! We enjoyed all the wines we sampled, and went home with one bottle. All that I tried were dry, well-bodied and smooth. My husband only found the beer so-so, so next time we go he'll probably stick to the wines that he also enjoyed from tasting my flight. The soft pretzels are huge, delicious and delivered hot and fresh. The cheese sauce for dipping them was really tasty and much better than most cheese sauce offered for soft pretzels elsewhere. The staff was very courteous, offering us blankets as it was chilly outside and they saw the fire wasn't thriving. We are only 25 minutes from them, and we'll definitely go back; we were very happy with our visit!

The tasting room is small when entering and the room we sat in was very tiny but cozy and felt like an old English cottage but they also had another room that was pretty full that day. The wines were good as well as the cookies which were made by a bakery in Orange called Mary's Mountain Cookies. Being cat people, my friend and I especially loved visiting with the winery cat who was making himself at home in one of the chairs. After the self guided tasting and pairing, we did go to the bar to taste a couple of their other wines that weren't a part of the flight and we were then able to interact with the owners a bit which is always my favorite part of visiting a winery. This was a fun visit. We'll be back.

It's located down a gravelly path, with cute signs from their cat Nutter. There's an indoor tasting area and seating, as well as outdoor seating. I decided to do their 8 option tasting and really enjoyed learning about Virginia's wines and grapes, having recently moved here from the Pacific Northwest. Out of all of the wines I tasted, my favorites were the Duo (white viognier/chardonnay blend), the Founded 1734 (red blend), and the Vin Gris (merlot/cab franc blush). Bonus, you get to keep the cute glass after your tasting! This was a great place to visit, run by a super friendly couple, with many great wines. I will definitely be back!

My husband and I recently got married at Prospect Hill Inn. While the ceremony was beautiful and…read morethe venue has charm, the experience leading up to and during our wedding day was incredibly stressful due to poor communication, unfulfilled promises, and a total lack of professional coordination. We chose this intimate venue for a low-stress experience, but we felt like a low priority and were blamed for every issue. Before we paid our deposit, communication with T was fantastic. Afterward, replies went from taking hours to taking weeks. Though coordination was explicitly included, T failed to deliver: No Communication/Direction: T ignored late-night texts about the fire pit, leaving my husband to build it. On the wedding day, no one directed guests or vendors; I had to meet people in the parking lot. Timeline Failures: Our 5:00 PM ceremony started late because no one tracked the timeline or gathered the groom. T then rushed us through everything else to hit a strict 7:00 PM dinner, cutting into our photography. Poor Hospitality: In 90-degree heat, we had to make six trips to haul bags to our cottage with no help or golf cart offered. Later, staff refused to let guests (including older family) sit down or get a drink before we entered. During a rushed photo session, T inappropriately interrupted to complain about our guest book pens. The Flowers & Charms: Friday, I gave T a labeled bag. My mom explicitly asked her to attach 4 sentimental charms of my late grandparents to my bouquet. T agreed. By 3:50 PM Saturday, I had no flowers. T was entirely off-property, forcing my mom to hunt down the bouquet. When found, the charms were missing. T arrived late, blamed others, and told me to attach them myself while in my wedding dress. The groom's boutonnieres also arrived Friday and were brown and wilted by ceremony time. Blame & Broken Promises: The AC: When the AC broke in my parents' room, T instantly accused us: "You must have blown a fuse." Dances: T acted visibly annoyed by our first and parent dances, though they were explicitly scheduled. The Grounds: Promised winter hydrangeas and wildflower hills were actually zero bushes and pure dirt. Hidden Fees & Perks: T forgot our cake design details multiple times. Souvenir flutes contractually promised were never received. We were charged a surprise $21 fee for cottage breakfast delivery. When we asked to put our refund on a different card, they fought us before reluctantly writing a check. The Menu: Food quality didn't match prior menus. We were never shown the breakfast menu, yet T snapped at my husband for asking for ketchup and blamed us for not changing a menu we never saw. To top it off, our marriage certificate arrived with my name misspelled and the wrong date. T never offered a single compliment on the wedding day and didn't even say goodbye at checkout. Our wedding was beautiful solely because our 11 guests stepped up to run it. Future couples: what is promised in the sales pitch is not what is delivered. Get every syllable in writing.

The wine was delicious and the property is absolutely stunning both inside and out. Not sure if they were just having an off day or they thought we weren't gonna spend any $ there due to us having dogs/ not being dressed up at all but if it wasn't for the food/drinks/ aesthetics and we think was one of the managers coming to say hi to us I would have probably left less stars. - SpicyAivy

The wines are excellent and there are several tasting options you can choose- I believe there was a red flight, a white flight, and a "signature" option that had both. You also have the option to build your own flight, which I always love. The 2024 rosé is a standout, we picked up several bottles to bring home. We could not believe how good the food was- it was worth a trip in its own right! It's on the pricier side but it is clear why, the plates wouldn't be out of place at a fine dining restaurant. We also had the kindest server, Chelsie, who made our experience so special and memorable! She stopped by to chat several times, gave us great recommendations, and she could not have been nicer to me and my friends. We were lucky enough to attend our dear friends' wedding here and it was a spectacular wedding venue. The space is just beautiful and the catering was incredible- some of the best wedding food we've had by far. We liked it so much we came back to visit the tasting room the next day :) This is a perfect stop on the way to Charlottesville from the DMV and a gorgeous place to spend an afternoon.
