Don't waste your time! I inquired online about a stealth pool. Adam asked us to drive to the showroom 45 minutes in order to get any information. We paid a babysitter, drive 45 minutes each way, and sent him our survey... during our visit he verbally gave us pricing and options reluctantly. He didn't want to give pricing- I had to ask and he was almost taken back that I asked! He committed to sending in writing and also to sending details for financing - never sent! I followed up by email twice telling him we want to MOVE FORWARD- no response. I never received financing options. I never received next steps. I never received the connection to the permit person or the appointment for someone to look at my house. We hired and paid a babysitter to drive 90 minutes and to beg a sales person to help us. Westrock Pools are condescending, unprofessional, narcissistic, threatening, spiteful individuals. They make false promises, hide behind their contract, and provide horrendous customer service. They subcontract their pool installation when their employees (construction coordinator) can not handle the work load. They install parts (heaters, filters, etc.) that are over three years old for a brand new pool. They are careless and sloppy leaving garbage and construction debris behind. They recklessly damage your property and leave underground utility wires exposed after they unburied them. They have poor communication skills and are unable to schedule different aspects of the pool installation in a timely fashion ultimately delaying completion of the installation. They also pick and choose what parts of their contract they will follow. For example, the contract states they will perform the necessary steps to obtain all permits, that they will backfill the yard to rough grade, and that they will schedule inspections with the Town. They did not do any of this. They will collect your money stating it is owed according to their contract placing the consumer in a situation pay or else. Via email, the owner insinuated violence and was a bully. Via voicemail, the owner stated his construction coordinator was having a nervous breakdown. The owner also came to sit infected with Covid unaware of safety guidelines placing people in danger. Westrock Pools only cares about taking your money and not providing you what you paid for. There are plenty of pool companies, make sure you do your research prior to choosing Westrock Pools. Do not fall for their sales pitch when they promise you a pool by a certain date. Our family was extremely disappointed and Westrock Pools could care less. In October of 2022, they promised us we would be swimming by Memorial Day. Best pool store in the area! It's not a chain and it's run by people who actually have years of experience. The owner one time coached me how to fix my green pool over the phone to save me a trip. Unfortunately the reviews of West rock are accurate. They are byfar the worst. When I was first placing my order for a pool everybody was helpful ,got the pool ordered was quoted an installation price and the price was put on my invoice . Then came time for the installation. Number 1 all of the companies /installers that they recommended do not come through with service . one, pyramid never returned the call and you only go to voicemail , the Becker company keeps telling me they're going to call me back with the date and there is no date , not even a walk through and the third person , I'm still waiting to hear from them as well. In fact, I do not think the installation places are real . For all I know it could be somebody's home phone we are calling. Secondly, the installation price that I was quoted and written on my invoice at the time of purchase , nearly doubled . From $1200-$2000 . So now I am is stuck with a pool in boxes and no help from West rock whatsoever they need to stand behind their installers and their business practices. They need to be accurate when they say that they provide installation services . Westrock is puss poor when it comes to customer service all they care about is selling the items and nothing more and then they don't allow returns . So unless you want to be stuck like me with a pool in 1 million pieces in your garage or your backyard DO NOT BUT FROM THEM!!!! I would definitely avoid this place. Fast talking scammers. I asked for a price on an above ground pool 15 x30. The guy gave me a price around 12 thousand without installation. Just for the pool, filter, ladder and liner. I asked what guage the liner was. He didn't know. I asked which filter it came with. He said probably a hayward but didn't say which one or what kind. At this point my wife walked away. She knows nothing about pools but she later told me that guy was clueless and 12k? We ended up buying a better pool with a better warranty online for less than 6k. This included a 30 guage liner, a pentair filter and pump and an upgraded safety ladder. It's amazing how many scammers there are out there but this one takes the cake. read more

Recently shopped there and gave them my charge card number over the phone for a curbside pick up. 2 days after being charged another charge for $512 was put on my account. Well we gave Westrock another try after years of staying clear of them and our dealings with buying a new spa from them was a mistake as gypsies would have treated us better. From a sketchy sales approach to delivery and now awaiting repairs they were unprofessional and not very courteous with no call backs , indefinite phone wait times and total failure to answer emails, by far my worst experience of a expensive purchase. If you can walk out the door with a product and don't need help or install , maybe you could be ok , but that too is questionable. I've had such a terrible experience with this company and who they recommended to set up my pool (Donnell). First I ordered and paid for my pool in February and was told it would be delivered by the end of April. The pool was not delivered until the first week of June and was missing the salt system I had also purchased the same day I purchased the pool. They were rude when I called inquiring about the delay in delivery of products I purchased. Their Pool installer Donnell cancelled my pool instillation day of on 4 different occasions, each day was another excuse. Then Donnell came to set up the pool on a last Friday 6/25/2021, however never completed the job and failed to show up, when he said he would and has also been ignoring my phone calls. If I could give them zero stars, I would. The manger or owner Ken is extremely rude and unprofessional. Two men came and opened my pool June 1st and left the electrical box open knowing it would be raining heavily that night. On June 4th someone from the company came to my house and told us to call an electrician to fix it. Ken said he would call someone and have them out there as soon as possible. Today is June 10th and he hung up on me after I asked why there has been no electrician to my house to fix my pool that his company has broken. We have tried three times to get a quote on a pool. The first time I went in and was told that it was 530 and they close at 6 pm so I need to come back. Then I called and was put on hold for 5 minutes then disconnected. The third time I was told everybody was busy and they would call me back. No Call returned. If that is the customer service I get when i'm trying to put a $40,000 pool in and they do not have my business yet??? I can not imagine what would happen if I signed a contract. Absolutely terrible company. They sent two crews, both on the wrong date, too close my pool. Their "opening" performs only minimal service, so I was told to book a separate vacuuming appointment. Which I did. When I asked how much it was to vacuum my pool, I was told $95. Not $95 per hour, not $95 plus chemicals, just $95. The crew that came out didn't bother to knock on my door, but they claim they were here for an hour, yet they didn't finish the job. I spoke to them briefly about a leaky filter pump, and they said they would have the office call me about having a technician come out to evaluate it. I called their office to say the vacuum job was only half done and was told that my pool was "disgusting" and I had only paid for an hour. I was never referred to their website while booking the job, and had not been asked to sign their opening contract. Their customer service "expert" was rude, condescending, and refused to help. I explicitly stated that no one from Westrock should ever set foot on my property again. Two days later a technician walks into my backyard unannounced with a part that I didn't order to fix my filter. I got a bill on my credit card three weeks later showing that they have decided to charge me over twice their stated price for the vacuum service. After calling customer service they agreed they should not have charged me for chemicals added when they did not obtain my permission. They refunded 20 odd dollars and are still charging me over $160 for what they very clearly stated would be a $95 service. This company is terrible, and I will never do business with them. read more

This review has to do with service only, some of the previous reviews state no return calls and that is very true. Kenny, who used to be the service person and was great, has left and they have someone new. They opened my pool last Wednesday, in the past they would return in about 2 days to do the original vacuum. Did not hear anything so I call and spoke to a woman who said she would call me back to let me know when they were coming, waited a few days and did not hear back, called and left a message to have someone call me, never heard back but someone showed up at 8pm. Person said he could only brush the bottom of the pool because the vacuum could not pick up the dirt ( never had this issue in 5 years) so he does that and obviously the pool is cloudy big time and he tells me to call to reschedule a vacuum. Surprise, I leave a message and as of this post no response. Holiday is here and I can't swim this 9 days after the opening. The best person is Ronnie but he is not always there. read more

Do Not Come Here! They were super nice to us for the sales portion and right away we purchased an above ground pool in May. Especially during this pandemic, a pool is the hot commodity. We put down a $2000 and then trouble started. Sales rep never told us we had to get the pool delivered before calling the installers. By July, the installers called us and said they'd come do the install if we had the pool. WE DIDNT!!! When I called Westrock, they said there was a "mix up" and the pool we purchased was no longer available to us. Our neighbors told us in June that many of them dealt with Westrock and their subcontractor - Pyramid. Both were awful. Long story short - save your frustration and go somewhere else. read more

After paying for a new liner in April, they promised, swore up and down no matter what the liner would be installed no later than June 1st. Being that my son was turning one, I needed the liner for his first birthday party. Needless to say these scam artists had no idea what they were doing and the liner wasn't installed until late July. The salesman promised us a date and then we were told he was wrong, that the date couldn't be promised. After calling EVERYDAY and being lied to about the liner coming in we discovered it hadn't even been ORDERED until the second week of June. How insane?! These people need to be shut down. read more

Very helpful when they are selling you the pool...NOT so helpful once the deal is done. I placed a service call 1 year after having my pool installed. I had a leak, caused by my own doing, and wanted to have it looked at. I was told on 4 occasions that someone would be out to look at it. I made it clear I was not looking for a free service visit. Multiple follow up calls to the service department and still no visit to my home. I picked up a patch kit and tried to do it myself. Seemed to hold but was still concerned about the hole and some rocks that washed under the pool liner. I called again and spoke to whom I believe was one of the owners..not the service department. I explained my concerns and the fact that nobody ever came out. He could care less and went on to explain how great the patches hold and that they would have to charge to send someone. NO SHIT Again, I wasn't looking for a freebie ! He was very arrogant in my opinion and it wasn't my last interaction with an arrogant staff member. I'll never spend another dime with Westrock. It's only your name that has kept people coming....staff is complacent and should learn how to treat their customers. ....except Joanne...she's the only helpful one but I've given up. read more

If you need your pool closed your better off doing I yourself. Charged us over 400 dollars when we already had all the materials to close it. They brought 2 guys who couldn't even understand English. Then they popped our brand new ballon to tell us it was our fault the ballon popped meanwhile they closed the pool for us. Only reason why we used them is because we bought our pool from them and my father would always go there for supplies and other pool related things. Now this year my dad gets sent to hospital for over a month and this turns in to 3 times the headache this should of ever been. Our daughter rented a house in the Hamptons this summer and our assignment when we came to visit was to bring pool toys. Not having a pool and not knowing where to buy them, we looked everywhere including Toys R Us and in every pool store in the area. We found the biggest and best selection at Westrock.we purchased 5 fun-looking floats and water squirters but when we got to her house we realized we were missing a float. Once home, we went back to the store and although they didn't remember finding a float left on the counter, they gave us a replacement. That is great customer service.
