I was quite disappointed with the level of service and attention provided by Westside bath. My fiancée and I stopped by to look for plumbing fixtures as we are in the middle of a remodel. The only person in the store seemed to be more interested in sitting at the computer than helping us with picking out items. Not much else to say as we left after 30 minutes in the store. Normally when you leave a business with the feeling that you gained some additional knowledge or made progress toward a goal, it would be considered a good experience. In this case, neither happened.

Sheila assured me that if I don't like the way the shower head works I can return it for a full refund.

They share a space with a florist that is open during the week, so I got confused and thought they opened during the week. They're not. The space is not huge, but it was fun to prowl around the different sections and find hidden treasures from Japan. The owner is really good about taking time to explain what each item is and the different uses, as well as care and handling. This place is such a huge contrast to shopping at Walmart. Made me think of a small town hardware shop that is the heart of the community with people stopping by to have keys made or knives sharpened or whatever random thing they need. These kinds of places are treasures! Definitely worth a visit and definitely worth supporting. Glad I did!

So I take my time selecting what I need versus what I want especially because I don't know when I will have the next chance to return. I easily spend several hundreds of dollars here buying my chisels and other carving hand tools. It's cool that the worker remembers who I am (excellent service). The owner himself takes the time to show me the various chisels that they have and you can tell just by listening to him talk the pride he has for the tools that he carries.

Customer Service is nonexistent you can never find someone to help you and when you see somebody far away, they feel the vibes and typically disappear lol The parking lot is another anxiety inducing experience. From the aggressive drivers and their huge trucks that don't respect smaller vehicles to the roadway hazards of various vendors walking around or setting up vendor carts near curbs. It's really stressful to be there. I've been cut off, cursed at, and overall really disrespectful for just merely existing and trying to patronize a retail establishment!!!! I'm actually writing this review right now after a very unpleasant experience of almost being hit, and then being flipped off for no reason unprovoked. Poor merchandising, unpredictable vehicle + customer interaction experiences, and nonexistent customer service deems this location really the worst for me to get simple household products. It's unfortunate because I live a mile away, but would prefer to drive 6 miles into Alhambra because it is much more civilized and an overall way better shopping experience than this location can produce.
