I would use them again in a second because of the personalized experience, and knowing how they work. BUT you have to know that there is no building or sign, no physical location. The place they tell you to meet is a spot in the parking lot they meet you at. When I got there early there was no one there. Meanwhile, no one in the area really knows who they are, so we were sent into the harbor (and if you're oot you need to familiarize yourself with the different harbors). He tried to text me earlier but I missed it. Eventually we made contact. The personal attention was wonderful, they were readily available when we wanted to end early, and were driven straight back to our car when it was over. read more

I wanted to like these guys. The initial process was flawless renting a boat. They went over a few rules and off we went. There is supposed to be a depth finder that wasnt working on the boat. We went into an area where there were no markers and plent of boats, hit a rock and some minor damage on the propellor. I did some research and found it was a 2-300$ issue which I was happy to fix. They initially charged a $500 deposit, imagine after we emailed a few times the exact damage amount was, you guessed it, $500 to the penny. We never saw an original invoice. I'm happy to change this review if the company reaches out to me and shows me the exact damage repair invoice. As I said, although the depth finder wasnt working and I had no idea about my depth, I am happy to repair any accidental damage I caused but I don't like someone just taking money without proof. read more

Great First Experience & we'll be back for more. We rented the 24' Suntracker Tritoon. My husband and I wanted to take our 3 teenage daughters and their friends to the lake for an end of year celebration. The experience could not have gone any better. Easiest rental ever. So glad we did this... we had friends from out of town come with several kids, so we rented a pontoon. Everything was easily booked, we got the Priemer pontoon, that fit 12 comfortably. It was clean and spacious with a huge shade. Also rented a float pad, and tube. Great experience for all of us. We met them, checked over the boat, very kind and thorough staff. We were set to launch and they dropped us in the water & we had an awesome day! Worth every penny. BEWARE! This company gets you with lower prices but it will cost you big in the end. We rented Pontoon boat and two jet skis. Renting process was very easy they get your CC over phone to book your reservation and that's were your nightmare will began. They gave us rentals with no walk thru and minimal instruction. Pontoon boat we rented was ok but cut someone in our groups foot coming back on from water we let them know once we got back and they said h yeah this boat was in an accident before I guess they left the edges sharp. :( Jet skies very old and beat up.( deeply repaired with fiber glass) so even if you take pictures before fiber glass will chip loose with normal use in water because that's what the bank off. And the supposed repairs will be more than the jet skies are worth. They gave us one jet ski without filling up gas ran out before our time. And of course we are responsible to fill and they will charger you. So all said and done we supposedly broke all the latches on the boat. Qty 3 when we only used two doors didn't even know it had a third. And we supposedly caused damages to both jet skis is what the charges say. We are a pretty responsible group that always rent Airbnb and cars and never have an issue and if we did cause damages have no problem repairing but this company is charging us a ridiculous amount it's clear they make their living off off scamming people. This place is so shady please look for another company. And owner is bad communicator after he already had your CCi info and waiver. read more

Rented a jet boat for the day on Lake Pleasant and had a great time. The pick-up and checklist went quickly and the guys were professional. The lake was a great time and the boat performed very well; had plenty of room. We had to wait a bit to turn the boat back in, as they were backed up, but it wasn't bad. The only reason it's 4 stars and not 5 is that to boat was older and a bit worn. Other that, great company, professional staff and fun in the sun on the lake. Rented a jetski for a half day today at Lake Pleasent. The team was overall fantastic! Very nice gentleman with great attitudes. They were very timely for pick up and drop off. Explained how to use the ski and the rules of the lake. Don't know much about how prices work in this industry but I would have to say I think this was very very fair compair to whatelse I saw out there. We had the worst experience. Prepaid 2 high performance and 2 regular jet skis months in advance we arrive early on the day of use 1-5pm and were told they only had 1 high performance which was falling apart assured they were safe and existing damage was noted. TAKE VIDEO AND PICS BEFORE YOU RENT The manager gave us a 300.00 credit since they didnt get us on the lake until 2pm and we could not rent till 6pm to make up our 4 hours (we had previous plans) Now the owner is trying to get his 300.00 back by pinning the existing damage on his High performance piece of crap on us it was missing the bumper and all the side molding was hanging off when we got it ALL ON VIDEO he is a piece of work. I was looking for jet ski rentals over at Lake Pleasant and everything that was there at the marina was crazy expensive! So I started searching for places away from the lake that I could rent from. West side Rec was like half the price for DOUBLE the time. No Brainer! They make it super easy too. Make your reservation, put down $100 for deposit, they meet you at the firehouse at Lake Pleasant, you take pictures or a video of the water craft before you hop on it to confirm any preexisting dents scratches or marks on it. They put it in the water for you and you're off on your way to enjoy some fun in the sun. When you're done you pull right back up to where they dropped you off at. Easy as 1-2-3! I'll definitely will rent from these guys again and recommend them to any looking to have some fun at Lake Pleasant or anywhere else they serve. read more

We had a great time- we rented on a whim, so less than 48 hours before our day. Guy was great and got back to us in a timely manner, and setting up the arrival was easy. We had a lovely speedboat, and Mark got us out on the water in about 15 minutes. The return was a little hectic because of other boaters being idiots, but Mark handled it well, and we got back to the car quickly. It was really wonderful to not have the work of boating (prep, maintenance, trailers, and parking)- we just brought us, food, drinks and lots of sunscreen for a fantastic lake day. They wipe down the boat entirely in between boaters to help decrease disease spread too. read more

We rented a boat through Guy for the 4th of July & it was a great experience. The boat was clean and perfect for our group! We rented a tube as well and had a blast! We wish we had more time so now we know for the future. The only negative was that one of his buddies misplaced the anchor a day prior so we didn't have one but honestly didn't need it. These guys were great made it easy to rent the jet skis. Picked us up and drop us in the water. No carrying everything to get down to the dock they just load you with the trailer and off you go. Guy communicated quickly. His rates where slightly less then some others we checked. He met us in the parking area that he provided email directions to. He was on time, helped us loan our stuff on to the boat. the boat was in good condition. We have owned several boats in past, so knew how to operate. The boat interior was a little worn but nothing torn and everything worked as it should. We enjoyed the 1/2 day we rented. It is an extra charge to rent a tube. We brought one with us. Guy was waiting for us when we brought the boat back. He had a helper that was also helpful and friendly. They pulled us out of the water and took us to our car. Very easy no issues. I rented from Guy for the first time about two weeks ago. My friends and I rented a large pontoon boat to have some fun in the sun. Guy personally picked us up in the parking lot dropped us into the water and picked us back up from it. He's a nice guy, honest and personable. We had such a great time ended up renting another pontoon just the other day and had another groups of friends join me on a speed boat last week. Dock was closed still because of covid so we couldn't hang out on there to switch back and forth on jet ski but if you drive on side of lake you can park your car and pull the jet ski up to the edge of lake and switch off there. Update: Guy called me and we were able to negotiate an equitable solution. My fiance and I are getting married in June (we are originally from the East Coast and are getting married there). We decided that we were going to do a combination party with my groomsmen and her bridesmaids (they all flew here from Massachusetts) here in Arizona. What a better way to celebrate that than with a boat on Lake Pleasant right? Wrong. We wanted to rent a pontoon boat that would fit 15 people on it, so I gave Guy a call. Guy informed me that he didn't have that size of boat right now, but he did have one that they just bought that would fit 25 people. He said it wasn't ready yet, but would be ready for when I needed it on May 20th. I said great, and booked it (booking confirmed on April 19th). May 15th comes around and I get a call from one of the managers at Westside. He informs me that they actually do not have the boat that we requested. At this point, it was too late in the game to find another place to book, so I was offered two speed boats instead for the same price as this pontoon was going to be. I agreed because I had to at this point, and they threw in a couple of tubes and a wake board which I felt was a decent compromise. Day of comes, we arrive at 9am (scheduled to be on the water at 9:30) and we were off. We got to the water at around 9:50 (one of the ladies driving there got lost). We were shown a quick tutorial from the two ladies, who both admitted it was their first and second weeks working there respectably, one of them even admitting that they had never driven a boat. They praised these two speed boats for their "jet engines" and the fact that unlike propeller engines, we don't need to worry about the tow lines for the tubes. We got on the water around 9:55-10 and immediately had problems. One of our boats (the Seadoo) didn't work, and my brother had to call into Westside to get some tips on how to start it back up again (had to fool around with the engine to get it to start). This boat never really worked, the engine was constantly sputtering, and they feared that if they shut the engine off, it would never start up again. We finally got the tubes out and had about 45 minutes of fun before the tow lines got sucked into the engines of both boats. We called them and felt really bad about what happened, and since neither boat could start, they informed us that they would need to pick us up, and would be there in 30 minutes. An hour went by and I gave Westside a call. They informed me that they tried to send out a boat, but it also died (seems to be a common theme there). They told me that they would call me back, and we waited (our boats drifting towards the sides of Lake Pleasant as we waited). Another hour went by and I called them back. They told me that they were still researching a way of rescuing both of our boats (our boats had drifted apart at this point, and were at opposite ends of the lake). They obviously had no safety/emergency plans in place, especially since all of their employees are less than one month in. Three hours later from our first call, help came. At this point we had run out of water (it was 100 degrees this day), food, and sunscreen. Many of my friends from back east were sun poisoned. We had another week of activities planned as it related to our bachelor/bachelorette parties, but many of our friends were now too sick/sunburnt to participate. Once we finally made it on land, we were ready to put this all behind us. The manager told me that he was going to have Guy call me to work out cost etc. Guy has still not called me back, but they maintain a $1,500 charge on my credit card (cost was only supposed to be around $500). This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. To compound this experience, I have not heard back from the owner. I have called and they have told me that "he is busy". We are all busy, but if you are going to run/start a business, you have to be able to communicate with customers. -Ryan read more
