Customer Service is Not Even an After Thought…read more Last night on my way home, a light came on in my Audi which indicated that my rigtht Brake Light had buned out. No big deal. Fix it myself or take it to a dealer which I really don't have time for right now. Looked up how to do it and the type bulbs I needed and started to call Auto Shops. First was NAPA and the young lady said they did not have what I needed but would be glad to order it for me. Told her I would see if I could get it elsewhere. Called Auto Zone and after several minutes on the phone explaining to the gentleman I had an Audi and not a Hyundai ( ended up spelling it out for him), he indicated they had exactly what I needed. Told him I would be over in a couple of minutes to buy it. About 15 minutes later, I walked into this store. There were four gentlemen behind the counters although one kept dissappearing in the back, two customers at the counter and three ahead of me. Thirty minutes later I am still in line. The counter people seem more interesting in doing anything except waiting on customers. The main guy who I assume was the manager, spent 5 minutes discussing a live Nativity Scene with a customer who had given him a card advertizing the event. He was in no hurry to move the line and no one else seemed interested in helping other customers. At this time I ended up leaving even though I had progessed to the front of the line. From the way things were going and the length the guy was going to to explain to the customer he needed to bring in the old core to get his $35 dollar credit, it was going to be at least another 10 - 15 minutes. Driving to Atlanta on Thursday to see new Grandson so will probably pick up the bulbs I need there. To bad the lowest rating is a One Star. This place does not deserve any Stars.

okay so i have been going here for a few years now, not like i just had a single bad experience but…read morelet me summarize. in early 2020 i went thru 4 starters on my 1997 tacoma because i would go down to THIS auto-zone and buy a new one, trade my old one in, and get it a little cheaper. well i'm not sure what kind of trickery they are doing but i got 2 "brand new/refurb" starters that did not work at all. leading me to believe at the time that something much more complicated was wrong with my truck (it wasn't). i've never really let it bother me before but every time i go into this store they literally treat you like you are going to steal something. they will ask you, not in a helpful manner what you are looking for, literally to try and see if you are stealing. and if they get suspicion or you have been in the store more than a couple of minutes it's very likely that an employee will come follow you around the store to make sure you are not stealing. listen, i understand it's a bad part of town, but this is just a little ridiculous. nobody should have to explain themselves but i've never stolen anything from anywhere. and yesterday of all things... i stopped by this autozone to pick up some oil.. got home and then i decided i'm going to do a whole oil change with a filter and everything. so i also decided it would be better to call back and make sure they have what i'm looking for in stock. the manager (i'm pretty sure it was him) answered the phone.. it was the same dude who talked to me while i was in there that's how i know. but he after pretty much ignoring what i was looking for recommended me some oil that was 20w60 when i told him specifically i'm looking for 10w 30 or 10w 40. then after like i said, ignoring my question and recommending something that would probably HURT my engine LOL.. this guy can't even look up in the computer or go look on the shelf if they have the oil in stock... he literally told me after getting up and looking for 1 item, the 2nd item i asked him to check that was in stock he completely changed his demeanor and tone, and then said "listen buddy.. if you wanna know what we have then you're gonna have to come in, and look at the wall OK." honestly i was pretty shocked that he would say that and i wasn't about to sit on the phone arguing with a man who's twice my age (i'm 21) and has absolutely no common sense or hospitality for people. so i just hung up the phone, but you best believe i'm telling every single person i know to steer clear of that place. some of the worst employees i have ever seen in a business EVER. i mean worse than fast food like ridiculous. i know it's a very long review but this is the most important part... after calling this autozone i called the one on turnersburg Hwy near chic fil-a and cookout.. there was a very nice man answered the phone and was very glad to answer the questions i had and look if they were in stock. needless to say, i went and bought everything i needed from that store. moral of the story; owner, get some new damn employees customers, never, ever go here unless you wanna be literally treated as if you are going to steal (they will follow you around the store after being in for less than 2 minutes) they will ask you (in a bad attitude) what you are doing and looking for, not trying to help you but trying to see if you are stealing. literally the worst business i've ever stepped foot into. i would be embarrassed to own that shit show of a store.

Stock choices are terrible as I've been looking for gear for my bike. Normally I like cycle gear. This location is missing far too much. I'd go somewhere else.

So this is where Cycle Gear comes in.. Step in and was greeted by a woman. Love it. Love how they don't hover over you. They let you try the stuffs on. Walk around the store with it.. see how it feels and offered safety tips on finding the "ONE". A gentleman told me to make sure my helmet wasn't pushing against my forehead and temples.. There's sooo options for a good Helmer's. Prices range from $65 to $600+. My budget was $300. And I found one that's $225. Even found a good pair of gloves on clearance.. One thing I did see and I mentioned it too then is that there isn't enough selections for women in shoes.. And they said well, women riding didn't take off until 5 yrs ago. I'm thinking they haven't been to WI yet. The home of Harley. There's plenty of women riders. All and all, this will be my go to for my gears. Staffs was helpful and nice.. Store was very organized and clean.. You can also see their inventory on their website so you can see reviews and compare models.. Good place to start!
