I came here in the morning recently and it's a cute spot in LIC for some American brunch! The interior is spacious and bright, with lots of natural lighting. Service is pretty quick, and they're nice. We got the eggs benedict and their waffles. I ordered the eggs benedict with salmon, but I think they forgot it on the order, so it unfortunately came out with out the salmon. Overall, I thought that this dish was okay. The hashbrowns the egg came out on was hard and dry and the eggs were cold. It made the whole dish cold, and I just didn't really enjoy that. On the other hand, the waffles were delicious, filling, and also came with eggs so you could enjoy a bit of something sweet and a bit of something savory. You pick from a list 17 choices - I got the broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and brussel sprouts. Each came with different flavorings (cauliflower with tahini, brussel sprouts with Dijon, carrots with herbs, etc). Huge serving and all delicious. On the website, they advertise a veggie platter option that has 3 veggies instead of 4. (I didn't see it on the paper menu.). I came here for lunch with a couple of coworkers and I loved that their menu is varied enough with sandwiches and burgers, while also offering lighter options like protein with veggie sides. I opted for their grilled chicken and sides of cabbage and kale. Grilled chicken was on the drier side, but the veg were delicious. I can't believe I haven't reviewed Westville yet. I love the one near my apartment in midtown so I was super excited when I saw them open this one near my office. I've been several times and it hasn't disappointed. I've ordered takeout a couple of times and my food is always ready promptly and the orders have been correct. It's also a great place for lunch and it encourages me to leave my desk. Each time I've been, the food has been amazing and the service on point. So excited to have Westville in the neighborhood to diversify the food options a bit. This was my first time at the LIC location, and they upheld the same standards as their other spots. We came just in time for happy hour, which is offered seven days a week. I had the spiciest spicy margarita I've ever had and the market vegetable plate with tofu, garlic mashed potatoes, corn, and Brussels sprouts. The dish was delicious and filling. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to see a full list of vegetables I could mix and match to create endless market plate combinations. The veggies were very fresh! The service was really quick, that's the only good thing about this place to be honest. I spent $12 for a bowl of chilly, received a cup. I added extra for gouda to be added, it taste terrible. The chilly was not good at all. I regret paying for that chilly. The truffle fries just weren't it, I'm not sure who seasoned this food but it really wasn't it to be honest. I'm going to have to try them again because I really didnt want to leave this awful review. I don't recommend anything I ordered. If I decide to come back maybe I'll get a burger. Don't order the blue cheese it tasted like it was purchased from a dollar tree. The sour cream however was good before we mixed it in our chilly. I've come here already 3 times with my husband and 3 yr old son (yesterday came with friends too) and have been so happy a location finally opened up in Queens. I've been a long time Westville fan and love that after so many years and through their expansion, their food remains excellent and affordable. (If only we could have one in Forest Hills now- that would be a dream!) I love that they change up their menu with specials on a regular basis! Yesterday I got the breakfast southwestern burrito bowl and it was delicious! Last time I got the Brunch Kale Caesar salad - also yum! We ordered the breakfast burrito and shrimp scallion toast. First off, the service was super nice and efficient. Everything was clean and it seemed decently busy on a Saturday morning. As for the food itself, I'd rate it a 3.5/4. I wasn't super impressed, but also didn't think it was bad. The shrimp toast was surprisingly flavorful. The breakfast burrito was more egg than chorizo and onions. Additionally, the majority of the home fries were burnt. I kept hoping that the next bite would be better than the last, but sadly was disappointed each time. That being said, our server at the end told us we should have told him earlier so that he could have comped it, which was a nice sentiment. I also enjoyed their IPA on draft: "The Other Side". I've been to Westville before but at the Manhattan location and for brunch. I was excited to try something from their dinner menu. They just have standard American food but also offer healthy food options. I came here the other week and ordered the chicken thigh pesto bowl and a side of yuca fries. Both were tasty. I recommend the pesto bowl, it was quite flavorful and filling. They have a bunch of vegetable side dishes you can order. My friend ordered the strawberry spring salad and a side of mushrooms. I personally wouldn't order salad at a restaurant but I had a bite and it was quite delicious. I would actually order this for myself next time. For drinks he ordered the chai colada which is basically frozen chai latte with a hint of alcohol. I ordered a glass of passion fruit sangria which was just ok, I've had better elsewhere. The dressing and crispy chicken were some of my favorite parts of the the Cobb salad (comes with grilled chicken but added crispy chicken as an add on) and the bacon is generous. Well coordinated and personable. The food was diverse for meat eaters, vegans, and pescatarians too. Something for everyone. The cookie was moist warm and delicious. The veggie burger was appealing in look but a tad mushy for my tastes i tend to prefer more firmer burgers but this was homemade. The arugula salad was excellent. It's been awhile since I've explored the food in LIC, and I love that we're getting a lot of outposts of famous/NYC standouts (Utopia Bagels! Soothr Thai!) as of Spring 2025. This branch of Westville is no exception. I had a lovely late lunch here. I got a cup of chicken noodle soup and the mac & cheese appetizer, opting to add bacon. Both were delicious! I know Westville is all about the market vegetables and other folks' veggie-heaped bowls looked delicious, but that was not the universe's plan for me today. Even with my 2 carb-forward options, I was impressed by the portion size! I felt satisfyingly, but not disgustingly, full. Service was also attentive and friendly. It's a big place, with a mix of bar seating, 2-person tables, and bigger tables, so there are a lot of options here. It's perfect for a neighborhood catch-up brunch or a solo Happy Hour meal. They have just done a soft opening and it was fantastic. I am honestly so excited to have something new and completely different in the area. The food was incredible, I had the marinated sirloin steak and my wife had a Greek salad with grilled chicken. For dessert we had an apple pie and pecan pie, probably the best ones I've ever tasted.
