My go-to when I don't want to go through the hassle with golden wings. A lot more pricier than golden wings also, but less hectic in terms if busyness as well as closer in proximity since im usually near by. They serve whole wings or party style wings which are your traditional drum and flap. I also recommend the fried rice which I find has the most flavor compared to other restaurants in the area. Also ordering ahead is available which is a plus, so you won't have to wait long. Friendly service and always consistent. read more

The wings are made to order and really good! I got a combination plate that came with 4 whole wings and 2 sides. I got shrimp fried rice and an egg roll. Also comes with wego sauce which is their special made sauce that comes in either spicy or mild, I got spicy. It reminds me of like a sweet and sour sauce that has a little kick. Really good! Chicken came out hot and crispy. Shrimp fried rice was good and the egg roll was your standard Chinese egg roll, stuffed with cabbage and pork! It was a lot of food for the price, about $8. They have bottled and canned drinks in a cooler on the side. Service was quick and friendly! I'll definitely be back since it's super close to my work. Give it a shot! read more

This was my very first time visiting this establishment. We ordered the fried chicken leg and thigh with the shrimp fried rice with an egg roll and a can drink. We started to eat in but it was entirely too hot in the building. The chicken didn't have a taste to it and it was fried too hard. We was given a very small scoop of shrimp fried rice and it was the worst I have ever eaten. The rice tasted over cooked and it tasted as if it was thrown together. The egg roll was the best tasting thing we had on our plates. I will not ever try this place again. It was truly a waste of time and money. read more

this place used to be the old Mae Mae restaurant. I had the two piece special which came with fried chicken leg and thigh, french fries, fried rice and a drink all for $4.99. The food was great at a great value, service was fast and friendly, and the only reason it didn't 5 stars was they didn't have ice for drinks. it's not that they ran out it just wasn't an option, like no cups and no ice. drinks were whatever that was in the fridge cans and bottles. there reasoning was they didn't have fountain drinks so that's why they don't have cups and ice. they also didn't have menus only menu was what's up on the wall. other than that if you're looking for cheap good chicken give westwego wings a try. read more

After hearing about this place from several people, I had to give it a try! And let me tell you, it's does NOT disappoint !! Right when I walked in, I was greeted with a big and friendly smile. The person taking my order was so nice and patient with me. I ordered regular fried chicken and boy oh boy was it crispy !! I can still hear the crunch in my head and just thinking about it makes my mouth water. If it wasn't so far from where I live, it would definitely be a weekly-biweekly trip for me.
