Always drove past but never knew what was here. Then Chickens Kitchen posted about it and i eat with him often and he said it is a must try. Was unsure of what I wanted so I kept it simple and got 6pc wing combo with creamy Cajun ranch and a coke. Wings and fries were freshly made to order. Wait time was about 8minutes. Loved the crunch of the chicken! Wings were a great size. I couldn't eat all 6, so I ate 4 and saved 2 for later. I will definitely bring my ppl here for a quick bite. Prices are extremely reasonable.

Umm. Not what I was hoping for. Not bad. Originally was aiming for Wing Zone , closest to my house for Door Dash. Remembered hearing something about this new place on facebook and I'm all for giving someone a shot. The balls were extremely crunchy like shell crunchy. Worried about breaking my temporary. The wings are really big. The appeal to Golden Wings is that they are smol. Easy to destroy and guaranteed cooked all the way thru. These a big. To me, sometimes bigger isnt always better. The sauces. They are good. I didn't hit a super hot one but they are different and worth trying. The swamp rice also suffered from being too crunchy. Kinda worried me again about cracking teeth. I say give them a shot, maybe the small combos and skip the balls. Best of luck Supersonic!!

I sure do love an old school, traditional wing spot. No smoke and mirrors just great wings and quick service. Supersonic Wings is where you want to go if what you want fresh, crispy, juicy wings with great service with little to no wait time. I went on a Friday afternoon in the summer. I was shocked by the size of the wings. They were bigger than I'm used to and for the taste, price I was ecstatic. Too many places overcharge for small, skimpy wings. You don't get wings this size for a great price like this anymore. This spot is a throwback to the days of the old neighborhood. As soon as I got out I heard cookout music. I knew I was in the right place. I found this place on a whim because my regular place was closed for renovations. I'm also never on this side of town so I checked into Yelp to help me get my wings fix. After a quick search I saw this place was new and had exactly what I needed so I popped in. Best decision ever, now I have a new wing spot!

This place opened about a month ago close to my job. I decided to stop yesterday and try it. Now I do want to preference this was a to go order. I ordered the 6 piece wing combo with the sweet heat sauce. It did take a little bit for my order to be ready I think 15-20mins. This is because they make your order when you order it, which is nice because the food is hot. The wings were fried to perfection!! The fries were good as well. Now the sauce I didn't like too much. It looks as though it was made in house, which is great, I just didn't get that sweet and spicy taste I was looking for. This is the reason I gave it four stars. I will definitely try this place again and pick a different sauce. It is definitely worth going to if you're in the Gretna area.

Chicken was very salty and I paid extra for only drum pieces but received mixed box. My husband said the grilled chicken tenders were good.

It's always nice to find a place that offers a little something different instead of the usual tourist fare. I went with the Shrimp Carbonara, and the portion size was impressive. The dish was loaded with large, juicy shrimp and packed with flavor. It was one of those meals that looks great when it arrives and somehow tastes even better once you dig in. The service was quick, friendly, and kept everything moving smoothly, which was appreciated after a day of exploring. My only minor critique--and this is purely personal preference--would be that I would have preferred the shrimp tails removed. It certainly didn't take away from the meal, though. In fact, it led to one of the funniest moments of the trip when I squeezed a tail to remove it and accidentally launched it across the table toward one of my buddies. Thankfully, my aim was terrible, but the table got a good laugh out of it. Great food, generous portions, fast service, and a fun atmosphere. If you're looking for a solid meal while in New Orleans, Red Dog Diner is definitely worth a visit.

From the moment we arrived, the food, service, and ambiance were absolutely outstanding. The staff was incredibly attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our meal. The portions are generous one of my sisters ordered a salad that was so large she had plenty left to take home for her husband. My other sister ordered the breakfast croissant, and I had the smash burger, which practically melted in my mouth. Of course, we had to save room for dessert! We shared the vanilla bean crème brûlée and the beignet fries, and both were absolutely delicious. If you enjoy a good cocktail, you'll love their drink menu too the cocktails are amazing, and the prices are just as impressive. What really set this restaurant apart, though, was the customer service. I had a small issue with my debit card, and the owner personally called me afterward to make sure everything had been taken care of. That level of care and attention is rare and speaks volumes about how much they value their customers. Brown Butter Depot has definitely earned a spot on my list of repeat visits. Every single thing was a star. One of the things I love about NOLA is you can get a crawfish cream sauce at five different places, every one of them equally delicious, and somehow none of them taste the same. Joey K's version is exactly why. The eggplant was perfectly crispy on the outside with a tender center, and that crawfish cream sauce tied everything together. The hamburger steak was cooked perfectly and covered in house-made brown gravy that tasted like somebody's grandma still has the recipe. Comfort food done right. The fried green tomatoes might have been my favorite. The batter had an unexpected little hint of sweetness that paired beautifully with the grilled shrimp and remoulade. The French bread came out fresh and exactly what you want with good butter. Service was a hit. The place was spotless as an old school place can be. And I always love seeing the Simon folk art signs on the walls, they're part of the Joey K's experience for me. We cleaned every plate, which tells you everything you need to know. When a table full of locals leaves with nothing but empty plates, that's about the best review you can give.

The interior was spacious and airy, with plenty of colorful artwork and signs all around. There was a Chalkboard with the specials of the day. From the specials menu, I ordered the Voodoo Catfish (full fried filet) with Crawfish Mac and cheese with seasonal vegetable, which was Sweet Peas. I also got a Cup of Jambalaya (half portion). The Catfish was absolutely delicious. It was oh so light, irresistibly crispy, flaky, and well seasoned. Mac and Cheese was satisfyingly cheesy with flavorful crawfish. Sweet Peas were cooked perfectly and just the right consistency with a slight pop of sweetness. Jambalaya had chicken, sausage, and shrimp. The dish could have used more shrimp and seasoning. Service was solid. Our waitress was welcoming and knew the menu well. Everything was very reasonably priced. I was so full at the end of the meal, I didn't have room for dessert, but would like to try the Blackberry Cobbler.

The first time I came, I was told that if I bought the fries, the drink came with it. On my second visit, I simply asked about that because I remembered what I had been told before. I wasn't asking for anything free--I was only trying to understand my order. Instead of politely explaining it, the owner spoke to me in a rude, disrespectful, and degrading way. I was made to feel like I was trying to get over on them or asking for a handout, which was never the case. I paid for my food and only asked a simple question. What hurt me the most was the way I was talked to. I left feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and honestly wondering if I was treated that way because of my race. I can't say that was the reason, but that's how the interaction made me feel. Customer service is about treating people with respect, especially when they're supporting your business. Unfortunately, because of how I was treated, I won't be returning. I hope no other customer has to experience what I did.

To start, this is not in a location I would ever have made it too without a Groupon. But I will be back! It's deep into an industrial area of Gretna facing the levee. It's not picturesque, but the interior (from what I could see through the window as they are closed for now due to Covid) looks like a fun, spacious almost retro dining area. We found the order window and rang the bell for service. One woman is handling orders and she gave us the option to call in to avoid standing in the rain but we gave our orders at the window. A lil poppa, big poppa and large potato wedges with honey bbq sauce ( DONT GET THE LARGE, it's craziness, small is plenty for two).
