The best water park in the world I've been there two times and it's the best everybody go to wet n wild waterworld

Wet N Wild is alot of fun . Plan your trip in advance cause prices change every day. Also they charger you for everything so be careful what you pay for. You definitely save alot of money by bringing your own food. Its been 6 years since the last time I came here so is definitely got new rides and looks like its still going to grow. I'm disappointed. It was probably my mistake to go on a weekend in July. However, that still doesn't excuse what happened. Everything costs alot and I mean everything. We could barely go on any rides because we didn't rent a tube. There was a long line just to get in, and there were drunk people sitting outside the entrance. Once we got in, we paid for a table and immediately went to our first ride, where we waited an hour because, as I mentioned before, we didn't rent a tube. When we finally got on, my tube was deflated! The ride itself was mediocre... just a boring slide. We got food, which was dangerously bland, and that's coming from a picky eater. There was also almost no actual shade, which caused me to overheat and nearly throw up like 5 times. My friend and I left my parents to go on Jaguar Falls. We waited an hour and a half, and my feet were burning from the hot pavement. By the time we got near the front, two girls got on the scale and were told they were "underweight". My friend and I volunteered to ride with them, but then we were told they were actually looking for a child. They ended up choosing someone older than us. The whole situation was embarrassing for those girls, who were left standing there for at least 20 minutes. Once we finally got on, the ride was a lot of fun but it was over way too quickly. When we went back to the wave pool to find my parents, they were gone because the pool had reached capacity. Since our feet hurt to much to keep walking, we decided to float in the lazy river. Unfortunately, it was extremely overcrowded. There were boys wrestling and throwing each other around (mostly at people) , several couples making out and grinding on each other! Almost taking echothers clothes off. and it was difficult to even move through the water. At one point, someone even grabbed us. The water also was dirty you couldn't even see your feet, and there were feathers floating everywhere. Once we were back to our table, there was a woman repeatedly making herself throw up. Absolute rip off unless you buy season tickets! Military must buy tickets on base to get a discount, none given at the gate. Must pay for everything...parking, admissions, a picnic table, tubes, and obviously overpriced food/drinks. read more

I'm just here to say how I love this place. See better detailed reviews of the whole park so you can be more informed. They handle everything so well since the start line to go in, through when is time to close. I've never seen people being problematic or be in a fight all this 4 times I've been there, theres a lots of lifeguards and it makes you feel good and comfortable which is very important. All of their water slides are so much fun and very safe (at least all the times I've been there). To end this review, you can have a good time there just be prepared! read more

Great and worth it of you like slides. They only have the wave pool that is an actual pool, but it has a line so you do have a time limit in there. WORD OF ADVICE RENT THE CABANA & BRING FOOD TO EAT OR COOK OUT WITH. I truly enjoy going out to Wet 'n Wild I bought the season pass, and have had a blast on their water rides. The employees were very polite, and helpful. It's a nice place for the family to hang out. If you live in area and plan on coming more than once in a summer, the season pass is a must. Parking is cheap, though I think season pass holders should get in for free. If you're going to spend all day here bring your own food, tables & chairs it's cheaper and better. Not the best designed water park but it's still a nice place to hang out with family & friends just find yourself a good spot in the shade to sit. read more

Wish I knew about this place sooner. We got to go on all the rides multiple times in one day. I read a ton of reviews about this place... So here's my opinion. Arrival: Get here early before the park opens. We got there about 30 mins before, short line then you sir for the gates to open. We didn't leave till they closed. Tickets: There wasn't much if any of a price difference from online to window sale. Would be worth it if you're gonna go a few times to just get the season/annual pass. Tables/Seating: If you get there early you DONT NEED to reserve a table. I looked online and saw the cabanas and tables to reserve but it was just me and my two kids, we didn't need anything big. You CAN purchase at the window a $10 table reservation. All they do is get a plastic table cover and put it over a table of your choice. Keep in mind it's after you get through the gate so it's all dependant on when you get there. First come first serve. Dude, just keep your $10. There is plenty of tree coverage so shade is perfect. I kept my foam cooler on the table covered in towels and it was fine. Food: there's only snack type food. Pack food and drinks when your there. Tubes: You have to rent them, there's a few rides that provide a mat, and one that provides a double tube, and one group tube. If you're going on the lazy river or wave pool you can use your own, or none at all if you really wanted to. Other than that you'll need your own tubes to go down the rides. Footwear: I went barefoot and kept my stuff in a locker. My kids would've benefited from water shoes. You can't go on the rides in slippers. Rides: I have a 10 year old and a 6 year old. Both can swim. Everything is height based (obviously) there was only a handful of rides they couldn't/shouldn't go on. Shouldn't because my daughter felt that the one ride what dropped into 8ft water was too deep. I went and it was, the water pushes you deep and you're struggling bcz you have a mask on too. COVID: They hand out one mask per person when you go through the gate. It's a breathable mask that doesn't hold water like other masks might. They are annoying. If you end up in water and come up for air the mask makes it somewhat difficult. Kids might panic a little. It's fine though. Cleanliness: the place was spotless all day. People who say it's dirty, must've been a bad day. Or people who complained about the leaves... Sorry I'll take the shade. Even then there wasn't leave everywhere and we had a table by the lazy river which was covered in trees. All in all great experience. Next time I visit we are gonna get passes so the kids can go as much as they like. read more

So where does WnW fall in? Well...it isn't quite as epic as Water Country up in New England or as memorable as Splash Mountain in Disney World. But as far as Anthony, Texas is concerned, it gets the job done for the occasional thrill seeker via water rides. When it comes to Wet N Wild, you gotta enter in like the type of customer who accepts what they see because they're expecting to move out of El Paso at some point in their life. Now, I don't mean to say that as if to imply that this place is lame. It's more like a fancy way of saying, "take this park with a grain of salt". But to be more specific.. There's maybe....6 or 7 moderate thriller rides at this park. I've been here several times before and am aware they've added a couple new rides to the park. That being said as a man with a mild hypertensive condition, I still only found myself riding about two different thrill slides. Chalk it up to personal preference, but my favorite would have to be "The Amazon"...probably because the protocol for getting on that slide allows for more repeat rides. Whereas its big brother, "The Amazon Vortex", takes a lot longer to get thrill seekers down the slide for...safety reasons, I think. Some advice for the ones who don't believe patience is a virtue: avoid weekends. The lines are much shorter during the workweek. I arrived here on a Thursday apropos: a work organized event, entry fees paid (talk about economic irony, right?). I found it interesting that just about all the warning signs on the rides suggested that no sunglasses/glasses or shoes are allowed on the rides, possibly for fear of them falling off in the process. This rule is apparently loosely enforced, however...as I witnessed several folks riding down the slides in flip flops, which they concurrently lost on the way down said slide. Not that I'm complaining, because it allowed me the convenience of riding every slide with my water shoes on. Another caveat: you can grill your own food here, but there are some limitations. First, you can't bring a charcoal grill, even though you can BUY charcoal from the amusement park itself and utilize THEIR charcoal grills. Don't ask me why. Maybe their charcoal burns slower than the charcoal in the store. Who knows? You can bring propane grills though. Either way, this is what I would suggest, since the park doesn't actually sell "real" food per se; just mostly snacks, ice cream and funnel cakes. Typical amusement park stuff. Overall, Wet N Wild is harmless aquatic fun that's relatively enjoyable for folks who aren't expecting more than what they see or believing the made up stories about people having sex in the pools (I mean, seriously..they literally have lifeguards EVERYWHERE! What are the odds this actually occurred?). I'm giving WnW 3 flip flops lost on the Amazon slide out of 5. read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. We paid $160 for a family of four and could only access a couple of attractions. Reason being is that people were hoarding tubes in large towers at their picnic sites. The tube rental was closed even though they had a pile of twenty unused tubes. I spoke to the owner who walked me over to the one attraction that supplied its own tubes. He was condescending and rude. Instead of ensuring the park was running safely he spent his time chatting with a group of very young "managers". Looking around this place, it just seems like the capacity limits are not followed and who knows what other rules are being skirted. Looking for a place to swim? Arrived at the park early because on their website, it states the parking will be open an hour before the park opens. Did not happen! Instead, those of us that arrived early to avoid the mass entrance had to exit the park and line up and wait for the concierge to arrive so we can enter the park. I have a disability and need handicap access, and that is why we arrive early. Why is it OUR problem that the employee did not show up in time! Get someone out there at the time you advertise on your website, otherwise, update the site to state parking WILL NOT be open! read more

Wonderful Cabana Experience! Park was super clean from the pools to the bathrooms. We came on a Monday it was a perfect day, from checking into our cabana (wait under the blue tent, someone from the park will guide you to your cabana and answer any questions or fulfill any needs you may have) by the lazy River (Little Rio), to enjoying all the water park has to offer. I love how you can bring your own food and drinks (no glass or charcoal grills allowed), it allows you to enjoy the whole day at the park with the entire family. There is plenty of shade throughout the park to stay cool and enjoy your BBQing. Buying a season pass is the best thing you can do on your first trip to the park, go twice and an adult saves $10 already. And you know your going at least twice this season. Also it's best to reserve a cabana that way your guaranteed a table and grill on a busy day (you can bring your own propane grills). Have a Blast! read more

I should have known when I saw the long lines to get into the parking lot, the long lines to get in even if you purchased the tickets; there is zero management or control of the crowds. Key word go on a week day! Save money by bringing your own food and tube! They offer "free tubes" but they were very limited. We were able to get discounted tickets but for the regular price of $57 for two adults is extreme considering that does not come with a tube. Lockers are $6 as long as you don't lose your key. Had an amazing time! Renting a cabana is a must for the kiddos. We had #5. It came with tubes, lounge chairs, picnic table, grill, and a view of the volcano area. A first time for the majority of us that went. We had older kids and toddlers. Lifeguards were for the most part friendly. I will be highly recommending this place to anyone who comes to El Paso. So after saying I would never come back to wet n wild by choice I'm back two days later for and event with my wife's work. We are in an area that is inside and air conditioned with private restrooms, a kitchen and food prep space, tables, chairs, a lanai area that is pool side and a full size fridge. This area of the park is a lot nicer than general population lol, and I'm guessing a lot more expensive. I'll let you know how the day pans out. read more

So its kinda tough to decide how good this place really is since i was fortunate enough to have discounted tickets as a student in epcc. Tickets only cost me 15$ instead of the usual 25$. Active duty discount even cost more than my student one so that was awesome. All in all, i would say the place is definitely worth the 15$ entry but for 25$, gets kinda pricey. The rides are pretty good for what they are. There are floater rentals if you dont want to wait on the ones designated for the rides that just get switched off between people. The parking fee is also 4$ and locker rentals are available too. The food is kind of pricey. Typical though for parks like this. Usual types of food too like fries or hotdogs. You'll still have fun going through the rides though if you feel like just getting wet for the day, especially the summer time. Its kind of dangerous to be walking around bare foot though so watch your step! I busted a toenail recently cuz i didnt see this random step underwater and kicked it. Oye vei! read more

Upon seeing the reviews I was a little unsure but I'm glad I went for myself to get my own experience and thoughts on this park. My family and myself loved it! We a great family day. We went on a Friday it wasn't busy or overcrowded. Maybe we got lucky and picked the right day. My daughters 9 and went on almost every ride. Except for the one on the mountain only because her father and myself wouldn't allow it. We rented a small cabana for the day. Upon arriving we were greeted and helped right away. They gave us a free tube so we didn't have to rent one because our cabana rental only came with 2 (he didn't have to do that). The young man helping us was great! Keep in mind the workers here are young adults mostly still in school I don't expect them to have it all together or the best customer service. Their still learning. I love that you can BBQ and bring food, and drinks. Makes for all day fun if you plan it right! It was clean and did not smell of pee. Water was clear and clean. I hope everyone can experience this park the way my family did because we lived it and plan on coming back! Not to mention we traveled 4 hours specifically to bring our kid here. read more

Really fun place if your going with the family for a hot day in the pool, they rent out the charcoal grills or you can either bring your gas grill no charcoal grills allowed to be brought to the park , they have pools just for kids , a pool with waves , food , stands. For the price you can't get better. Love that you can bring all the food and drinks you want, including alcohol (cans only)! Get there early during peak season or you will not get a picnic table. There aren't a ton of rides but there are enough to have a good time and it's not overwhelming for older kids to be left to run around by themselves. We went twice this season already and got there 30min before they opened and were able to ride everything with no lines, then spent the rest of the time in the Lazy River and wave pool. read more

This place charges you for EVERYTHING. Parking, renting tubes, to use their grill. Back in the day everything was free. And this place hasn't changed. You'd think since they charge you for everything, they'd fix the place up or add more rides. And they took the big waves from the wave pool because too many people were getting hurt. Well if you can't swim don't go in the wave pool. Don't stop the waves and ruin it for everyone else.. And no drinking after 5 pm but they close at 6. Makes no sense to me.. "Oh an hour so sober up before you leave" no you shouldn't be drinking knowing you have to drive home. Have a designated driver.. I was very disappointed with my visit to Wet n Wild. read more

Fun place to go with family! They allow you to bring your own bbq and all the fixings, allow alcohol (no glass). They also sell delicious food! All the rides are fun, and never a long wait. Staff is friendly and everyone very helpful. My son was stung by a bee 2 minutes after walking through the gate, and the lifeguards helped him and put some cream to help with the pain! You can rent an inner tube and for the wave pool you can bring your own! Love it and will be purchasing season passes for this upcoming season! read more

This place is awful. A family member was recently bullied out of the park by a group of people who were slobbering drunk. Staff members did nothing. They're too afraid to return. I came this season only to find the prices have SKYROCKETED. I'm a single mom who gets season passes for my kids in lieu of summer vacations. Now we can't even spend our summers here. 60 to 100 bucks per person?! 22 bucks for me to NOT swim and now you have to rent your table for 10 bucks too. The rides are okay but the lines are long and the staff couldn't be more snide, rude, and just plain bored if they tried. My daughter bumped her head on one of the rides and the lifeguard was utterly unconcerned. It is not worth the price and the disregard the park owners show for their community as they price gouge and greedily gobble up every dollar they can squeeze from us is disgusting. So I'm an adult who LOVES water parks! I am constantly on the look out for water parks in any given area. Coming from Florida, we have a large variety of lovely, large water parks. That being said, this is a dessert, and so such things are significantly less common here in ELP. The water park was nice, VERY VERY VERY crowded, but it was fun to be in. There were some trees in the picnic area, but every table was taken and they were all tightly packed in. The food options were limited but they weren't non-existent. I did have fun, and would like to go back once more at some point simply because I miss being around water, but over all it was very meh. read more

Despite multiple post on Facebook and signage everywhere stating otherwise, masks are not required here which violates the current mandate in Texas. Large groups of people walking around without masks, no social distancing in lines, etc. A helpful tip, if you get Covid here, which you will, you can sue the park since you they don't have you sign a covid waiver and you can easily prove that masks aren't enforced in the park by taking pictures. Pretty disappointing, not too many rides, and as my 8 year old said, the rides tended to be for older kids or younger but not many he could do. After paying the $21 per person to enter (bought online a day ahead), ) $2 parking and $20 for a large locker, I had to finally give in and rent 3 tubes (and this on a Tuesday so it was not busy) just so we could go on the lazy river since they offer so few free tubes. Also had to wait forever at one of the slides so my son could go on because there were only like 10 tubes and kids kept going back onto the slide instead of leaving the tube for someone else to use. $2 parking is cool but an hour wait to pay $54 for two adults to enter, PLUS whatever it cost to rent a tube. I had and idea that it would be bad but it was just disgusting and beyond over crowded. They had a band playing Slayer cover songs... VERY odd for a place like that. Also everyone was bringing huge gas grills and playing their own music extremely loud, trying to out do the next group over. I have been to quite a few water parks or other theme parks that were dirty and totally uneventful, but this was gross at how they allowed people to act in a "child friendly" water park. read more

We have lived in El Paso for nearly 4 years. It's Father's Day weekend and it's hot. I decided to surprise the kids and my hubby for a day at the water park. It was packed! I know of other water parks not being overly packed, I wonder if this place would control their capacity. I think it would be more enjoyable for guests if they controlled the amount of people in the park. It may be an old amusement park and the only one in El Paso, but it seems they cannot keep the grounds clean. Large trash items and trash bags laying around. Other than the appearance of the park, we had fun. The staff at the entrance was very helpful. We found a place to keep our belongings at after a while and enjoyed the pools, a few rides and of course the kid area. We will come back in the future! read more

My kids had an awesome time here today. The only reason I gave it three stars is because of my kids. Otherwise I wouldn't willingly come to a place like this. My husbands job had a group rate and tickets were cheap so instead of going to work, the kids got to have fun. Would I come again? Maybe. It's so hot in El Paso, that the kids felt very refreshed getting in the water and on the slides. For the rest of the summer I might just stick to community pools. read more

Horrible place waited 1 hour 30 so just to get on there ride jaguar falls me and my cousin keep in mind we are both 12 weigh about 132 126 each it was a long line so we waited until we got on top lifeguard lady comes and says can i have a group of two so me and my cousin come because we thought we were going to ride by ourselves because we weigh about like 262 and that's enough for just two people that go on and we get with two little girls who weigh about 50 pounds each staff was completely rude about it saying dude just walk down or your not riding and me and my cousin had to get on because it was like 6:45 and they close at 7:00 so we had to get on because we weren't finna walk all the way down just to be disappointed and by rude staff so we got on being disappointed and staff says in Spanish pinchi puto just get on in Spanish keep in mind my Spanish is so good so I know right away so we get on and keep in mind these two little females are so rude as well saying a bunch of little things im Spanish so we just go and we flipped off the raft because of the weight limit because these little girls are so light and staff was completely rude about it and didn't care but these girls flipped the raft and was not a good experience me and my cousin could've got on just me and him and had never flipped correct and would've sat side ways they gave us to light people to ride with us completely rude service staff didn't care never returning again. read more

Not a bad place to bring the kids on a hot day. We had a good time. (CON #1) Many people in our group had to rent their own tubes ($5), but wet n wild defends themselves by saying there are tubes provided at each ride. Yes, that is true BUT there are not enough...there weren't any left in the lazy river and people were just walking through the river. There are also people who horde these green floats because lifeguards don't regulate who takes them out. We saw a lady with three river-tubes! We ended up renting our own :) I'm sure this is how they make extra money. (CON #2) I've seen the owner responses on "google review" defending the life guards, but I will side with the reviewers on this one. The life guards here are useless whistle-blowing teenagers. While we were in the lazy river, two of the "life guards" were playing around inside the river. They were probably on a break or something (hopefully), but it's unprofessional to wear your uniform and SHOES into the river and then splash other paying-customers. Another lifeguard (who was actually on duty), started blowing her whistle for fun at them to get their attention. Speaking of blowing whistles for fun, another guard was tooting a tune with his whistle. I thought these lifeguards were "first class" with the "greatest professionalism". Maybe they aren't teenagers, but they sure act like one! (CON 3) Wish they cleaned out the kiddie pools and lazy-river. It was filled with leaves and dead bugs. Oh, and some kid pooped in the wave pool. (More of a parental issue than a wet n wild issue, but it still added to the dirty water). Dirty, disrespectful workers and they don't do their job they just mess around the whole time. Don't waste your time or money. Will not be coming back and I will definitely make sure to tell others not to come either. read more
