All she gets is a nail clipping and bath and I think they over charge for that. I can't imagine what it costs for a full grooming with a haircut. I think boarding and day were a reasonable price. I would go because it's close. She's been there before for boarding and day care a couple times. Last time she went for boarding I don't think they ever walked her or cleaned where she stayed. I looked through the window to the back room and she was fenced in her own area which was fine but then I noticed she had barely water and there was pee everywhere she had nowhere clean to lay down. When my mother picked him up, she was told by Dr. Cohen not to inform me of the incident (I have been in the field for ~15 years) and was discouraged from seeking care elsewhere. No post-procedure blood work or objective assessment was performed to ensure he was stable for discharge. We took him to a 24-hour emergency hospital, where he was found to be dehydrated, hypokalemic, and in acute kidney failure. He has since required multiple ER visits for vomiting, lethargy, and not eating, along with ongoing monitoring that has cost thousands of dollars. Dr. Cohen also stated he would not be taking action regarding the employee involved, citing that she had been "showing improvement," and added that she is pregnant. Regardless, verifying the correct patient prior to anesthesia is a fundamental responsibility of the veterinarian. If others have had similar experiences and are considering reporting concerns to the state veterinary licensing board, I encourage you to document everything and follow the appropriate formal complaint process. No pet or family should have to go through this.

There's a decent sized waiting area and a check in counter when you arrive as well. They are very dog friendly and they have snacks for them as well. They are very engaged and made sure my kittie was as comfortable as possible. Parking can be tricky here though as it's on Austin Street. Definitely worth the visit if you have a pet!

She is kind, professional, knowledgeable, listens to concerns and doesn't rush the visit. The Bond staff is wonderful, too. One of my dogs just had dental there with extractions, the staff text me during the procedure and Dr. Karandikar called me and explained what she had seen on X-rays and how she would proceed. I was then given updates, told when he was out of surgery and then the doctor called again. I've had dogs my whole life who had their teeth cleaned and extracted and I never had up-to-date info or the vet calling me before and after surgery!! I'm really impressed! Noel is an artist when it comes to grooming my dog, I have been pleased with each grooming session.
