Wet Willis is the center of south beach MIA. They are famous for their frozen drinks. NOT better than Dallas BBQs in NY but in hot weather its a vibe. Most over 21 visit this place to chill drink and eat while watching the craziness on the Ocean Drive strip. The food is surprisingly good. The service is on point and Im glad since all of Ocean Drive has automatic tips. No matter the experience at wet Willis they will always habe business for because of their frozen drinks. They should be a tad bit stronger for the price. The drinks are definitely $17+ it taste like there is about 2oz of alcohol in the frozen. Drink already diluted with water. Def could be better. Ppl still visit so I doubt they change that. Drink in my picture is a BOB MARLEY
Came here on a casual Saturday night out and had one of the best Wet Willie experiences ever!! I ordered the Buffalo Ranch Wrap with shrimp instead of chicken and no buffalo sauce. It was absolutely spectacular. I also got the frozen margarita, it was great, sweet but not too sweet (compared to the other slushy options). But what truly made this whole experience so great was our server Johnny. He was funny, charming, and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. He checked on us constantly, and since a couple of people in our group had never been to Wet Willie's before - he made GREAT drink recommendations and ensured everyone was satisfied. Overall 10 out of 10 would recommend, can't wait to come back!
Wet Willie's has amazing food. My chicken quesadilla 10/10 was amazing i was shocked. The beans on it fit perfectly. Guacamole was fresh and delicious. My sis enjoyed the chicken Cesar wrap and the curly fries were 5/5. Decent amount. The drink was good and sweet like I like. The service was great had a young man that paid attention and got our food and drinks quickly. Place is cute and nice view.
Our waitress Sarah was the best! She asked us do we like strong, sweet or in between and gave some samples on a few recommendations. She spoke with a feeling that made me feel at home so I asked her is she from NY and but of course she was and we had a time a good time that is! I ordered the fish and French fries which came with a side of coleslaw and tarter sauce with a twist, it was so good and I had some left over the next day and after warming it up it was still crunchy and good. Most food after being refrigerated and reheated doesn't keep the consistency of the flavor or texture. The coleslaw was good too. The spinach and artichoke dip was good and had a spicy kick to it. The mozzarella balls were good but nothing to brag about. Wet Willie's is has a beach come as you are type of vibe, with your ID of course. This is not the place to come dressed fancy, treat this like a beach Applebees attire lol. I've been coming here since I was 21 and I've seen it at its highlights when there's a crowd waiting to get in but I don't remember the food being good like it is now. I'm glad to know this place is still standing after all these years and especially after Covid.
Literally went here every day for drinks while on vacation. Never a bad time for a wet willie! All of their drinks are strong which is very surprising for pre mixed drinks. It is a nice refreshing way to cool down from the Miami heat. The view is amazing overlooking the main strip of south beach. One of the days we did get the nachos and it came with a giant plate with a bunch of toppings. Although the service can be a little slow at times when they are busy it is well worth the wait. Also if you get a large you get to keep the cups!
Absolutely unacceptable. We found a hair cooked into the burger and more hair on the rims of the drink cups -- completely unsanitary and beyond gross. The staff offered a 20% discount, but in all honesty, the entire bill should've been comped given the health risk and the experience being totally ruined. I expected better. Do better, Wet Willie's.
A Miami staple!!! They used to serve drinks on the first floor and offer to-go drinks, but it seems the local law has changed. They moved all services to the top floor and you have to drink on the premises. However, they still offer their yummy frozen drinks. They also sell beers and snacks/meals. We got delicious curly fries - def recommend! Outdoor, indoor tables, and indoor bar seating is available. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Most seats were filled when we went around 5pm on a Friday night in April. Walking by later that night around 9pm there was about a dozen people waiting in line to get in. Def a fun, chill scene.
Strong dranks!!!! That's all I can say. I was leaning like a roach after two sips. Granted my hubby and I just came from dinner and had our fair share of drinks. There's so many house mixes and flavored daiquiris to try. We tried samples of both Call A Cab and Attitude Improvement. and ultimate decided on Call A Cab. We went with a small because there was no way we were able to finish anything larger than that. 4 Stars because you can't take your drink out. You must either finish it or toss it. By the time we finished our drinks I was begging my husband to take me back to the hotel. I was slurring my words, leaning to the left, and couldn't sit up straight in the Uber.

Now this is the type of Party Pitstop I LOVE!!!!! I came here in August 2010 with my Besties and I'm sure the place is still jumpin. The drinks are huge enough for petite lil me and cheap enough for broke-ass me!!!! Now I really don't remember what I ordered, maybe it was Call A Cab--it was red. And I drank/combined it with a Chocolate Thunder and it was symphony in my mouth!!!!! The waitress sucked though. lol read more

Wet Willie's kicked my butt and I loved it! My friends and I went on a Wednesday night and were happy to find the place practically empty except for one other couple. We sat upstairs where all the drink mixers are. The decor is fun and there's lots of seating. I ordered the Bob Marley drink and the Chicken Quesadilla. The Bob Marley was awesome- fruity and photo worthy. But don't let it's appearance fool you- or any of the drinks for that matter- they all pack a punch that makes the price tag absolutely worth it. Just one of these drinks had me nice n toasty. The quesadilla was on point too! Our server was very friendly and took great care of us all night. Everyone always says you have to go to here for the frozen drinks and it did not disappoint. Ive been to the one located in Atlantic City and the one in Miami is far superior. I ordered the Superman which is a mix of Call a Cab and Shock Treatment and it was amazing. Although everyone goes to Wet Willies for the drinks I definitely would suggest going for the food. I ordered the Shrimp Quesadillas and my friend had the Fried Chicken Sliders and it was all delicious. Plus if you're going to have their drinks it helps ti have some food to coat the stomach lol. The price for everything is pretty standard for Miami and if you're a lightweight like me 2 drinks will get you right lol. The ambience is great. We sat in the upstairs outside area which you can see the beach and the crowd walking on Ocean Drive. Ocean Drive is all the entertainment you need especially at night with the many different people and personalities and you have a front row view at Wet Willies. Plus most restaurants on Ocean Drive only have seating on the ground level where its super crowded, so its great that you can sit outside and not have a bunch of people hovering over you. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked for recommendations. Overall I had a good time and can't wait to go back. read more

This place gets 3 starts for the view and food. However, Seeing as this place is know for its drinks, I would say I am not a fan. I ordered a frozen drink (sex in the beach) and my husband had (shock treatment) both were very strong but became very thick like a syrup half way through, I didn't finish finish my drink but my husband did. The food came out hot and fresh, the chicken tenders and fries were short but crunchy at the same time, I thought it was good! And the chicken quesadilla was seasoned well but it had a lot of green and red peppers which I'm not a huge fan of, I don't mind some but it was a bit much for my taste. read more

I had one of the greatest experiences here, even though they are really busy they make sure they notice you and that right there is great customer service! I came here on vacation with my friends and I cannot wait for I get back. I got the monster melon and mango frozen drink with the nachos and cheese my friend also ordered the cheese balls. The food was amazing for it to be a frozen drink place the nachos and cheese were so excellent the chips were nicely salted and the cheese made it a great combo, the cheese balls were delicious and the marinara sauce added to tingles in my mouth, I would highly recommend this place being that is on the strip of south beach! read more

The Quick: Talk about a strong drink! For $13 you get one of the booziest slushees available! There isn't much too the bar, you'll want to enjoy this outside. The bartender warned me of the strength but I think it's pretty obvious by the taste. If you're looking for a relaxed piña colada this is not your spot. If you're looking for a quick boozy iced beverage to start your day at the beach, perfect stop! read more

I have now been to Miami 10 times and all 10 times I have visited Wet Willie's. This is a true Miami staple and a must when you come. My drink of preference is the Easter Egg. My sister ordered the Triple Play which was equally good. read more

Wet Willie'a has not change and why would it change if it's a south beach icon. I will say it needs some TLC, some areas need some patches of concrete & paint. My husband wanted to go because he likes the frozen drinks and I wanted to go because it's been a while since I've been to wet willies. The atmosphere is fun and the drinks continue to be tasty. We have a basic piña, which wasn't too sweet. Ratio of alcohol and piña mic is good. Overall we had a short good time. The nachos looked tasty! read more

Wet Willie's was at the top of my Miami list!! It's located on Ocean Drive in South Beach Miami :) We used to have a Wet Willies in San Diego but it closed down a couple of years ago :( I was craving their slushies! It's pretty much a slurpee with alcohol! Prices are $12 for a regular size and $13 for a large. I got the Banana Colada which was really yummy! Make sure you go upstairs, they definitely have more flavors than downstairs and they also have A/C! It's a nice break from the Miami heat! The crowd at Wet Willies is definitely hood LOL I love it though! Nice place to relax with a drink, music and A/C. The Miami location is more casual aka you can come in a bikini. I liked the vibe and atmosphere of the old San Diego location before it was more of a metropolitan bar and had nicer furniture/decor. Anywho, make sure you stop in for a drink! They let you sample as much as you want! No need to purchase a drink at the end ha ha read more

Similar to a Fat Tuesday, this place sells alcoholic slushies. The Fat Tuesday here requires a cover so we decided to head over to Wet Willie's. Came on July 4th and they had a special patriot drink (Call a Cab, Shock Treatment, Pina Colada), which turned out to be deceivingly strong. You can just mix these three flavors together, but I would personally leave out Pina Colada. Call a Cab and Shock Treatment together is already plenty strong to get the party started. Bacon cheese fries are a must!!! These tasted absolutely amazing especially since we were tipsy and just having a great time. From the 2nd floor, you get a good view of the beach and the surrounding area. Great place to chill or to party your heart out. read more

The drinks were good, but I wasn't that impressed. My BF and I sat on the upper deck with a couple drinks on a week day afternoon. I had a sex on the beach and he had a non alcoholic lemonade. The drinks still came to $20.... I guess they figure the price is worth it since you get a wet willies cup! I didn't have any of the food, but others around us did. Just looked like your typical chicken fingers, french fries, and whatever you need to soak up the huge slushy you're drinking... Lol. It wasn't crowded, so they had one girl taking orders and bringing drinks. She was nice, but we had already bought our drinks ourselves from the bar. If I had to judge this place SOLEY on the drinks, I'd say 5. But I have to consider the food and service... and that's why this place is a 4. The last time I was in Miami, I was at Wet Willies almost every day. It took forever, but after 6 days, I finally managed to drag my friends over to grab some drinks. They underestimated how strong these drinks were. One drink and you're already feeling it. We ended up getting larges for $13.00. You can get a refillable cup, but honestly, I don't think it's worth it. You can mix and match the drinks however you like. They're so strong and still delicious! NOMNOMNOM! The food is here is whatever. It's mediocre bar food. We ended up getting some nachos. Service is really not the greatest either. You have to flag someone down or they will never get to you. You have to be 21 to get in and remember, you can't take these drinks out to go. For a good time with some slushies in hand, this is a must! read more

After waiting in line for God knows how long my cousin and I ordered our drinks. The bartender was cool and I tipped before even tasting my drink because that's what we do. Once the flavors combined it wasn't good AT ALL. I asked if I could get half of a cup since I know I asked for the combination and the manager said no. We ordered food and I was prepared to order as well since we were staying but his rude response and lack of empathy makes it where they won't receive another dollar from me. I'm good on this place for good. A staple that has lost its charm. read more

Wet willies is one of the best place to drink frozen drinks. The prices are reasonable. They have a 16 oz and 14 oz drink at 13 and 12 dollars. The best drink I recommend is the Superman. The Superman consists of the call a cab which is the strongest drink mix with shock therapy. The customer service is great. The wait in the line to get I it's not too long. I also suggest people to sit in the bar if there is a wait for the table. read more

Stanley was a gentleman and a scholar. His advice should be taken as biblical text, because the man knows his stuff. He recommended the Power Woman, which is a secret menu item of his own concoction. It's the perfect blend of strong and delicious. We did not try any of the food, but the experience of the frozen drinks and Stanley as our server was enough for us to remember to come back to this place our our next trip. Go upstairs and ask for Stanley, it's worth it. read more

Pina colada is amazinggggg!!! Great for a bachelorette party. They give out samples to try. The top floor holds a ton of flavors and has seating outside. Overlooking the sand and you can see the beach in the distance. Would 100% return. read more
We came here because we told this was the best spot to get a drink. I could not verify this, because we waited for over half an hour for a waitress/waiter and no one ever showed up even after we asked the bartender. So yes we tried ordering the specialty mixed drinks from the bartender but they only had a few to choose from so they said to have a seat and we can then order one of the specialty drinks from the waitress/waiter. That person never showed and we never got a chance to try them so we decided that waiting was not worth our time since there are a ton of bars down this strip and we left. We even told them that we were leaving because no one ever came to take our order and all they said was, "okay I'll let them know". I've never been anywhere quite like Wet Willie's. Adult slushies GALORE! They serve food as well, which I'll try next time around. Come here for the myriad of flavors, which they'll mix for you in various combos (I liked the Bob Marley), and the fun atmosphere. Great for groups and late night people watching from the outdoor balcony overlooking Ocean Drive. read more
This place was great!!! This was my 1st time here ..I had the "Mango & Sex on the Beach" and then I had another one... "Mango and Call A Cab". Do not sleep on these drinks at Wet Willies-they are no JOKE . I thought I was good with 2..didn't think I was drunk ..maybe just tipsy BUT..30 minutes later..my head was spinnnninng lol. Wet Willie's is a classic place to go whenever you are in the South Beach area. They offer both delicious and strong frozen drinks for the hot Miami days. The drinks are strong and they offer both indoor and outdoor seating. If you are with a group of your friends and y'all are trying to grab a few frozen drinks to get the day or not started then this is definitely the place to come to. read more
