This was fantastic and I noticed right away that they had no sticks or prongs or things to hit the bear with, just ice cream! The bears are adorable and they will not make a bear do what it doesn't want to do so sometimes the show will not be the same. I really appreciate this. The pricing for everything was decent, the train ride was about 20 minutes and I enjoyed it. The food was okay (normal theme park food). It was rather chilly when we went so I didn't get to do the water slide which is my only regret - it looked super fun! I would DEFINITELY recommend and would be back.

The bear show is the main attraction. The love and care that is given to these bears prolongs their lifespan vs bears in the wild. Bring a change of clothes if you are planning on going on the water slide or the bumper boats. There are a couple of places to get food, but you can also bring your own lunch.

The view from our room is beautiful, and the hotel is quiet. We loved that if we didn't want to go outside into the cold, we didn't have to. Breakfast, coffee, pizza, dinner, and a bar were all a walk away from our room. Housekeeping is great. The hotel has a texting service so if your room needs attention or if you need toiletries/towels, you can text the front desk. I would definitely return midweek for the free water park admission! The staff quickly remedied the situation and we went to a new room on the second floor. Seems all the rooms have a terrace which was nice and our view was beautiful! The second room was not as updated but was clean and smelled fine. There was no loud sound issue which was nice. Occasionally heard kids running but nothing to crazy or late at night. One thing that I didn't like was the wall air conditioning units. Like the last time we were there, it turns off in the middle of the night, ugh! The sheets were kinda scratchy as well. Standard amenities: hair dryer (works well!), iron and ironing board, safe, in room Starbucks coffee, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, lotions, cable, alarm radio/clock What I like about this hotel is the attached water park and the fun activities they have for the kids. Nightly marshmallow toasting (not a smore! Marshmallow only) and fun things like movie night, pool parties, arcade, and kite making activities. Plenty of parking but far away from the rooms on the left side of the hotel.

I actually like the 'retro' feel of this place. So sick of the cookie cutter, boring, cold feel of most hotels these days. That being said, I hope they put some care into this hotel. The sink and tub nozzles were near impossible to pull out! It was so hard to pull them out that anyone with arthritis would never be able to operate the bathroom sink and tub. The toilet was funky in that you had to hold the latch down for about 30 seconds to get it to flush. Very annoying. The indoor pool was pretty gross. There was like a black mold around the edges and you could see the dirt on the bottom .. my husband was excited to swim in the pool, but looked at it and said 'nope'!! Yeah, the parking lot is a bit far, and you have to unload and walk up stairs with all your stuff if you're on the 2nd floor, but it wasn't that big of a deal. The breakfast was good. And the price was reasonable. If you don't want to spend $350 a night for a hotel in N. Conway during ski season, this place is doable. We paid about $150 a night. You can get nit picky about this place... hopefully, the owners will fix some of the problems. Hubby wasn't a fan, but I'd stay here again.

It had a patio, mini fridge, tv, and the basics. There is a large indoor pool, mini golf, and playground. It is definitely a dated hotel, needs some upgrading. The rooms were pretty quiet. We were mainly out and about enjoying the area and this spot was a good family friendly budge hotel option.
