The first employee I interacted with was an Asian/Pacific Islander girl who was nice and let me sample a few things, but she didn't really explain the ordering process or how the menu worked. The menu setup itself is confusing because there are multiple flavors listed on the same line next to one price. For example, it listed something like mango, apple kiwi, passion fruit all together, so naturally I thought that was the drink combination I was ordering. I even pointed directly at it while ordering. At no point did anyone explain that you could only choose two flavors. After waiting, another employee -- a light-skinned white American girl with black hair who was on the heavier side and spoke fully English -- called out an apple kiwi slushy multiple times. I didn't grab it because I thought it belonged to someone else since that wasn't what I believed I ordered. Eventually she looked at me and said it was mine. I explained nicely that I had ordered something different and pointed to the menu item I selected. That's when she told me they only allow two flavors. I said I understood, but that nobody had explained that to me. I politely asked if it could be remade with mango and passion fruit instead. You could immediately tell she was annoyed, even though the store was not busy at all. While remaking the drink, she loudly told the other employee, "I don't have the patience for this," loud enough for both me and my mom to clearly hear. That was honestly the part that upset me the most. I was being respectful the entire time, simply trying to understand the menu and correct an honest misunderstanding as a first-time customer. The remake took maybe 4 minutes, and instead of handling it professionally, I was made to feel like a burden. I still said thank you when she handed me the drink, even after the comment, because I wanted her to know I heard what she said. After leaving, I called to speak to a manager and was told there wasn't one there and they didn't know when one would be in. I understand mistakes happen, especially with confusing menus, but customer service and professionalism matter. First-time customers should feel welcomed, not embarrassed for asking questions or misunderstanding an unclear menu.

The place is bright, colorful, really fun energy the second you walk in. They've got a Street Fighter arcade cabinet and a soccer table, so you can talk trash to whoever you came with while sipping your drink. Pretty hard to beat that combo. My wife got the pineapple coconut piña colada slushy and was raving about it the whole time, she used her favorite word: refreshing, describing it as not too sweet, and that it hit the spot just right. Me? I was too busy losing at Street Fighter to focus. The staff were awesome too, friendly & helpful without being overbearing, actually seemed like they enjoyed being there. Just a fun spot. The kind of place you tell people about after. We'll definitely be back.

When I told her that I was looking for a coffee-based bubble tea, she let me try the tapioca balls that have coffee in them. After learning about all the options, I ended up making a cold coffee bubble tea that had their iced coffee, Hokkaido milk, tapioca balls, and the coffee-bursting tapioca balls. It was really delicious. The owner came out to say hi too. He shares that all the ingredients are imported from his native Taiwan. How wonderful! I will be back to try more of the various tea bases and toppings!

Last time I came, I tried the Vietnamese coffee with sweet cream. This time I went for the Ube Coffee, which tasted creamy, balanced, and not too sweet. They have a big menu to choose from, so I'll definitely be back to try more. They also offer boba if you're in the mood for it. The shop is spacious, clean, and has a cute, cozy vibe with plenty of seating, a sticky-note wall, and some games. The only downside is the coffee is a bit pricey. But if you're looking for a chill spot to relax or try something different, Ku-Tea's Town is definitely worth checking out.

There are 2 kiosks to order from or the counter with one of the baristas. The menu is also available above the counter if you don't want to scroll through the kiosk. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. The space is always clean. Almost importantly, the drinks are always delicious! I've always been really happy with my orders no matter what I've gotten. The boba has a delicious flavor and great texture. This time I got the strawberry matcha with honey boba at the recommendation of the barista and it'll be my go to for a bit! A delicious fruity summer drink that still has the creamy indulgence I want from milk teas. This is my fave spot for a sweet treat in the area, be sure to check it out!
