Not the great place. Staff have a dripping nose and working the fries staff has no pride in the way they bag anything up. Close this location down asap. Awful service always. Even if you live a block away go ahead and make the trip to any of the other ones in town... it will still be faster. We've been in Texas for 10 days and have seen several Whataburgers. Heading back to SoCal now and I said to hubbie we should stop at WHATABUGER before we leave Texas. Next stop Abeline. WOW! Well worth the time. Hubbie got a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a white chocolate raspberry shake and I got a patty melt. It was all so good. Service was beyond excellent. We got our food fast and hot, except the shake! Haha. The restaurant was so clean, except for the lazy grown man that got up, walked out and left his half eaten burger and trash on the table. Where are your manners? The restroom was clean and stocked. They come around to everyone with a tray of condiments and napkins and ask if everything is okay. I'm so impressed. No pictures of food. Abilene Texas South Danville location, they really need some work on customer service, I had to wait 20 minutes in line with one vehicle in front of me when I did get my food I stated to the young man at the window that this was ridiculous to have to wait this long and I hope that my food wasn't cold, he had the audacity to say to me as I was driving off I'm not the cook.. OMG.... I usually use the South first location I was on that part of towns so I chose the one on Danville, never again I'll go back to South first they Rock, I really do love Whataburger but customer service is important never had any issues on South first with that location read more

My experience here today was absolutely horrendous and unacceptable!! First and foremost my food was extremely cold I had to go home and actually rewarm up my burger in the microwave and put my fries in my air fryer because it was freezing.. I paid for a honey mustard and never received it but I didn't go back because they were so extremely rude to me the woman on the speaker actually got upset at me because I said small and wanted to change it to a medium and her reaction was "oh Jesus" then she turns off the speaker and come back on to say what else can I get for you? In the rudest tone! I ended up calling the store to try to get a refund for this horrible transaction only for the general manager to get on the phone and tell me that he cannot do a refund because " like Walmart they would need the burgers and items back" whatever that means... so all in all it was HORRIBLE! read more

Was disappointed here this week. Most Whataburger locations are pretty consistent. Stopped by here early on the way to go hunting. They didn't have biscuits at 5:30 AM! They then got my kid's order wrong and after we waited forever in drive through, I was finally able to get a biscuit and gravy (at least the biscuit was fresh I guess). Of course we got to where I could eat it only to find they didn't put a fork or napkins in the bag. Service was not friendly, was slow, order was wrong and couldn't eat it once we got it. Stories about the A-Holes at the bar, that guy who had his jeans tucked in his boots you know the guy the one with the "Ex-Wife Beater T shirt" on. From what we could put together from the conversation, Mr. Whitten had the Bar sprayed with some type of repellant that caused the ladies not to take note of us.... Went here yesterday with my son and his two friends, ordered and sat down to wait for my food. After 45 minutes I went to check on it and was told they skipped my order. I asked to speak to the manager but he wouldn't come out. The lady behind the counter asked if I wanted my money back and I said yes. Then I waited a little longer and asked about my food and was told that I could either get my food or my money back but not both. I told her to get the manager out there to talk to me. She went to the back for a bit and came back to tell me he wasn't coming to talk to me. Worst customer service ever! I understand mistakes happen and that's fine, but it's not okay when it's handled like this. I own 2 QSR businesses and I would never tolerate a manager refusing to speak to an anger customer or personnel unwilling to correctly fix their mistake. But due to the last month they have gotten every single order wrong or forgot the stuff I asked for on the side or extra. And more then half of the times I went they were NOT busy.
