I realize they have a lot of negative reviews , but I'm still having solid service thru the drive-thru and accurate orders. My experiences are now only during the day, so I am experiencing wait times. However, it always results in hot, fresh food. That's one of the good things about Whataburger in comparison to other fast food burger places. Food doesn't sit under a heat lamp waiting to be purchased. Anyone who complains about waiting simply doesn't understand this. Frequently the person at the window is emotionless, but it is what it is. Would I prefer to see someone who likes interacting with customers? Sure. But I still get my food fresh and the employee isn't rude. And it's not like this lack of enthusiasm ruins anything.

So I ordered a salad and I said cranberry apple salad no chicken, no cheese and a young man took my order and gave me attitude and started repeating what I said and he said you ordered no chicken on the chicken salad and no cheese as he gave me attitude, he kept repeating that five different times even when he came up to the table, he repeated that with the attitude And then I ordered number one combo meal, and I had a coupon for it and he never took the coupon. He charged me a full price then I had to go and fix that with a manager, and then he had attitude over that I do not appreciate the attitude, and the voice commands that he has given me. It was very uncalled for I never had any problems with this location until yesterday. I don't understand the attitude and then another customer had a problem with the same person and then he started talking about the other Customer man behind his back as the customer which was a Male left restaurant, I could hear him through the kitchen and the front talking shit about the person and also about me to his coworkers. If you're not gonna get trained or you're gonna have a attitude taking the orders, you should not be upfront taking orders and you should not talk behind people's backs because after all Sydney in the dining area and you're standing in the front talking to your fellow coworkers, I can hear you.

Always fresh and tasty. Missed Whataburger so much when I left TX. I just finished late morning Doctor appointment, so couldn't eat before. Wanted to get a coffee and quick breakfast bite. Glad I stopped here. Served breakfast until 11am. Ordered 20 ounce hot coffee with hearty breakfast sandwich of sausage, egg, and cheese on a warm flaky moist biscuit, not hard like those other places that have it sitting under heat lamps. The egg was cooked fresh in the grill not nuked in a microwave. Also came with side of hash browns all for $6.00. Try and get that at those other fancy coffee shops. You'll be out of pocket $15 or more and it wont be fresh.

Controversial but a one up on In and Out. Just my opinion the fries are more seasoned. The burgers are juicy.

This is the slowest Whataburger on Earth! Expect to wait in line at least 30 minutes.

Possibly the slowest Whataburger in the north Austin. More a last resort if Lamar or McNeil are too far out of the way

Morning service is terribly slow. A lot of chaos in the kitchen. Waited 15 minutes for a simple breakfast combo.

I had to yell at the man in order to defend myself. And do you know what the staff did at P. Terry's while all of this happened? They turned to ME, the girl being attacked by a MAN and told ME "not to engage him" for defending MYSELF after I had already tried de-escalating by ignoring him. They didn't offer to help. They didn't offer to call 9-1-1. They didn't tell the man to leave. They blamed ME for having to finally defend myself. NOT THE MAN POUNDING ON MY CAR. But ME. Tell me this: had I been a white woman or a little Asian lady, THEN would that have warranted helping me? But you put him harassing me onto ME. You put me DEFENDING myself onto ME. A great patio seating area with long tables and shade covering. The inside is modern with a good looking full bar with cocktails, etc. Two tvs with professional sports playing. The front area has a display case of their pies and cheesecake. House music mostly from the 80s. Two separate multi-user men and women's restrooms. The host was friendly and guided me to my shared table, which was fine with me as the place was crowded and the open tables were for 4 or more people. Dafne took great care of me. She suggested some popular items and also some of hers. She was friendly, outgoing, and had a sparkling personality. O.G.
