Rude and hostile manager! Messed my food up last night and the kids didn't want to eat there food since there was so much onions on the burgers that wasn't supposed to be no onions. No barbecue sauce on the other burgers as well. I dropped the other three because the general manager was so hostile and made me very uncomfortable. He kept stating how other people have been lying about their meals messing up. Then kept repeating that. I will never go here again. I can take the mess up if they fix but to accuse me of trying to steal is crossing the line. read more

I asked for fresh cooked fries. I was told. "they will be". Didn't happen. I wasn't in line long either. It's sad.

I understand that it is fast food but it is expensive fast food that should have an expectation of a quality level comparative to the cost. Not from this restaurant. Whataburger, more like Whatadissapointment. I have no clue what people see in this place and that they think it's better than In-n-Out. You could tell everything is frozen and stored in the back because of the texture and color of the food. I ordered a number 1 with sweet tea and the only positive part of my meal was the sweet tea. Food was great and the service was even better! Visited on 12/27/2017 for lunch with my daughter. The staff were very polite and the cashier (Richard C) even gave us a free kids sized drink after I forgot to order it. We ordered the chicken strips and fries, both of which were excellent. I'll start with the fact that I LOVE Whataburger. This location however needs to start over again. There has never been a order I have placed here that was not messed up multiple times, even after wait times that surpass those of ordering a dozen well done steaks. I timed my last 2 trips and compared it to driving to Temple, ordering the same meal and driving home. It's faster (and more accurate) to drive to the north side of Temple and back for the same burgers, done the right way. read more

Stopped by for a burger, as we were in line we heard the customer in line ahead of us being told that the restaurant was out of buns, however they still had the jr size buns. This was not acceptable to me so I questioned the the person taking the orders about how this could be happening and was told that it was a delivery truck issue. The employee seemed to show a reaction of humor about it all, what? Was HEB out of buns also? Where was management? Ownership? This felt like a bigger deal to me than to them, oh well, I didn't spend my money there that night. It didn't seem to bother any of the other customers there that I could see. We came by for a late meal with our high school football team. They were so busy! The nice young man at the register accidentally ordered us fries instead of onion rings. When Jacqueline delivered our order she apologized, brought us a fresh order of onion rings at no charge and a free apple pie. What wonderful customer service! Jacqueline deserves a raise! Whlie on my Texas vacation I had to ask the most obvious question for me, "Who has the best burger?" Without hesitation, everyone said Whataburger. After visiting, I'd agree. My first bite put a smile on my face. I'm not sure but I think they season the meat which is how I do it at home. The place was packed because it was lunch time but the staff was fast and friendly. Oh, I forgot to mention they toast the buns. That's right they toast the buns, both sides if you want. The fries were fine, right up there with BK or MCD. Nothing special about the chocolate shake but it did the job. If you love burgers, you have to go. Everything else seemed average but the burger will more than make up for it. Only 4 stars because it was great just not as great as The Counter. read more

Absolutely terrible service. I visited drive-thru at 10.30 am today (Sunday) and it took over 25 minutes after ordering to receive my food. The staff where rude and instead of apologizing they complained to us the customers about the other staff. They had NO Sprite, and the hamburger was less than mediocre with lettuce that looked terrible.....an expensive, very slow, poor experience. read more

Worst service ever. Waited 20 minutes for 4 combos. Food was good but with 3 staff members on break, a manager ignoring customers and taking temperatures, and 5 more staff members working at 6 in the morning and nobody else in the lobby.
