Might be on the of the busiest Raising Cane's I've ever been to, but man were they efficient in getting orders out the door. The drive the thru was packed (and the parking lot is a little tight) so I opted to park and walk in to order. I was greeted when I walked in, ordered my 3 finger combo, and had my order within in 2 minutes. Chicken was crispy and hot, got a nice helping of fries, and of course that wonderful Texas toast. Would definitely recommend, but around lunch this location (and the whole strip center) gets SUPER busy so keep that in mind. read more

Had Chicken for Lunch! The service was amazing! It was good chicken and the sides were good. We all had THE BOX COMBO - 4 Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, 1 Cane's Sauce, Texas Toast, Coleslaw, Regular Fountain Drink/Tea we added an extra sauce to each order! The Chicken had a good flavor but had lost its crunchy texture due to taking order home. Everything is different when you drive home with your order! Fries, Chicken, and Toast were not crunchy due to the drive. Things taste much better when you can eat the meal at the restaurant! All food was good. Sure it's fried, except you don't see all that gross grease. What makes it easy? An uncomplicated menu, quick and friendly drive-thru service, and an excellent sauce; which may be the reason you'd keep coming back! Tried to support a local business during times of uncertainty and drive-thru only. All of the food went straight to trash can. Retch inducing coleslaw, old janky chicken, an employee that didn't pay attention and after repeating order 3 times still screwed up our drinks. Was very obvious the employee at the window did not want to be there. People should be appreciative who still have jobs. Have some pride in what you do. I ordered the box combo for delivery and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. This was the first time that I had ever eaten their food and thought that it was delicious. The bread was amazing, soft and full of flavor, the coleslaw was good, nothing amazing, but better than a lot of other places, the fries were typical frozen fries and could have been cooked a little crisper, the sauce was very good, adding a nice kick of flavor, just could use a little larger cup for it, the same size as the coleslaw would be good, and the chicken was the star. Tender and juicy, a real delight, the only misstep was the difference of sizes of chicken, one was the runt of the litter, but still made for a good first impression of the restaurant. Went here while waiting for my son to have a medical procedure at the hospital and had the rudest person give us our food that I have ever experienced at a restaurant. When called up to get the order I asked her if my husband had ordered two or three meals because I wasn't sure. She rolled her eyes turned around and actually threw another meal on the counter towards me and walked off. I then saw her react to a few other customers the same way. I came back to the counter a few later and asked for a take out box and then had a rude young guy hand them to me. This does it for our trips to this place. I enjoy eating at Raising Cane's in Temple although sometimes lately the chicken fingers can be a little overcooked. On those days it's more of a three or four star type of dining experience than a four or a five star. Most of the time the chicken is fresh and tasty however and the service there has always been fast and friendly. It's one of the places that I go to most on my lunch break and I'd recommend it. I'd also recommend skipping the cole slaw and getting extra Cane's sauce for your combo. Cane's is the best. Their chicken is never frozen, always fresh. All these other chicken places try too hard. You've got Popeye's trying too hard to be a "Louisiana Kitchen." Have you ever been to Louisiana? They're not exactly known for their cleanliness. Also, a non Cajun food place advertising they're from Louisiana is like a burger place advertising it's from Mexico... Doesn't make it bad, but doesn't give me a ton of confidence either. KFC - that place is the worst. They serve their food in a bucket. Also, any restaurant that has Rob Riggle as a spokesman clearly can't be trusted. Bush's - I know too many high school kids that work there and refuse to eat it, so I'll pass. Their fries are also no good. How can you be bad at fries?! In summary, Cane's is the place to go. Their lemonade is excellent, their tenders are great, Cane's sauce is the best, and the cole slaw and bread make a Box combo perfect. read more

I've had the pleasure of eating at this location. And it's worth coming to ONLY BECAUSE- it's Raising Cane's. :) The flavor is the same as other locations I've been to. (Austin TX, San Antonio TX, Los Angeles CA, Santa Ana CA, Dallas TX- etc)... The *ONLY* reason why they didn't receive the full 5 stars is- (1) my fries were not as fresh as I hoped they would've been. (But they are still training)- And (2) my chicken tenders were EXTREMELY SMALLER than what other locations have sold me. The chicken flavor was still great. But- my Husband's and I both were cheated out of THAT GREAT EXPERIENCE we usually have gotten from other locations we lived before TempleTX. 'The Box Combo' is the best BANG for your buck... Just will only be enjoying it here (Temple)- 'BECAUSE' it's Raising Cane's-- but will look forward to my AustinTX trips- so I'll feel like I'm ACTUALLY getting what I'm paying for. read more

Been here many times and enjoyed it everytime. Went today and their tenders were the size of nuggets. We ordered the 3 tender meal and their were only 3 tiny tenders. We told the manager and she said there was nothing she could do. She told us that this is the way all of their tenders came. Very disappointed. Great place for chicken. Glad they have one here in Temple. Chicken tastes very fresh although not very seasoned. Fries are always crispy and bread is good. Location is ok, probably great for the hospital but the rest of Temple not so much. My family and I got to Raising Cane's in Temple at least once a week. We've noticed the service gradually getting worse. Toast not buttered, wrong orders, tea being out close to closing and they won't refill, etc. the last time we were in there a mouse jump from the circular booth in the corner to behind the drink machine and down a hold under the drink machine where the tubing goes. I went to the cashier and quietly explained what I saw. This would not prohibit me from returning because I understand rodents can happen anywhere. What will keep me from returning was the poor attitude of the cashier when she told me that wasn't her problem. As we ate not one person came out to capture or contain the mouse. For this reason and the poor service, we haven't returned. read more
