I do not see a negative star to give this Whataburger! After this, will never go to another Whataburger again. I went through the drive through, selecting the outside of the 2 lanes. Gave my order as did the car next to me. There were 3 cars in front of both ordering lanes. I sat there as did the 3 cars in front of me as we watched the lane next to us zoom through. We counted 5 cars that came after us, get their orders before we did. When we got our food, we tried the fries while the attendant was there. They were Lukewarm at best. I asked for my money back and was giving the food back to her. She told me to pull up and she would get her manager and my money back to me. I waited 10 minutes in a pulled-up spot, the attendant came out with my money and no manager. She took the food back and I made a comment, " I guess this wasn't important enough for the manager to come out" she smiled and said, nope. Slowest service ever!!! Ordered on the app ten min before leaving my house because I had to get to the airport. The app said my order would be ready 4-8 min. Arrived at store, 13 min after ordering and waited 5 min in line. Then she said "ok, they are starting on your order after this gentleman's" (referring to the man who just ordered at the counter. Couldn't cancel my order and I had to leave without food. I've gotten good food. I've gotten bad food. I use to get over the top orders. Fresh, neat, plentiful. But lately I get cold fries and onion rings. The box is only about 2/3 full of fries and especially onion rings (half box). The burgers use to be stack high and fresh. Here lately it's skimpy, thin and cold. Probably by leaving out trimmings either purposely or by error. The kids working there are mostly polite. But some do not know how to say Thank You. Whataburger is the most expensive fast food restaurant in the area. You'd think you would get top of the line burger and fries. Here lately it's no more than McD's. I think it a sign of the times. Corporate is telling them to skimp on product. Thusly, speeding up service by servicing more customers. In there marketing thinking, higher profits. I have not found a better Sausage Egg and Cheese Biscuit than the one served here, especially with the Jalapeno Biscuit. Dropped off my daughter at school for a workday this morning and swung by to get breakfast. Ordered in the drive thru and was about to pay, but forgot my wallet at the house. Ms. D didnt.miss a beat and took care of it and said no worries and to take my time to come back and pay. Breakfast was great and later on I headed back to pay and pick up lunch. I visited this restaurant today and once again the wait time was extensive and service was very poor. A Female manager came to my car smirking and attempted to instigate a problem when there was no problem. She held my credit card in her hand while insisting I wouldn't take the card from hand. Then she went inside and sent out a white male manager who came to my car like a BULLY and GLARED at me like he was going to a STREET FIGHT. My next step would've been to pull out of line and call LAW ENFORCEMENT. I also witnessed staff count money and turn and immediately touch people's food without washing her hands and without gloves. There workers don't do nothing at night but sit around and soak up TIME , Get new fast night working employees or better yet new management. This is my first "Whataburger" experience, yes it's true, there are restaurants I haven't visited. Firstly, I don't do fast food anymore, or haven't in years. Burger King and McDonalds, don't interest me and KFC, except for the one in Bangkok Thailand, which is beyond chicken! Well, for Whataburger, the service was professional, service area was clean, and the staff friendly! The burger here is definitely unique, but mostly because of the overwhelming taste of onions. It's a big burger, and it will fill you up, but it's not necessarily a burger I would crave. If I ever return, I'd probably try something else. The fries I ate when they had already become cold, unfortunately, which definitely makes a difference so I can't give an unbiased review of those. The ketchup is the only thing that would make me return to this chain, because it's some darn good ketchup. Their own brand, and you can definitely taste all the flavors. This Whataburger is our go to place when we want fast food. The food always taste good and the employees are polite. We have recently started to venture to other restaurants because of the long wait time in the drive thru. The other day I was in the drive thru for 38 minutes before u got my food and there were only 6 cars ahead of me. I think if I'm going to wait for that long in line and pay an average of $8---$9 per person I might as well go to a sit down restaurant. Got to this whatabuger about 10:50am 12/7/2019 and waited in the b line seeing it was a little busy. I was able to order at about 11:05-11:10am when I got to order. The rep told me they wouldn't serve me breakfast after 11:00am. I said ok and they told me order or move but I was still line and couldn't go anyway and they kept repeating order or move well after about two mins.
