Visited the Clarksville Tennessee location for the second time last week. Service was excellent. Got the chicken tender barbecue Frisco. It was fantastic. Always get onion rings or fries. Spicy ketchup is great. Tried the banana shake and it was awesome. Highly recommend any visitor to Whataburger get the banana shake. They have great seasonal beverages. A quiet grand opening at the new Riverside Whataburger location. I had not heard anything on the radio or seen any advertising about it opening this week. I just happened to be driving by today and saw two short lines in the drive-thru just before 5 o'clock traffic. It's open with drive-thru and takeout service only. The pickup window faces the Kraft Street side and the entrance for the drive-thru is on the 2nd Street side. It's a smaller location compared to the Sango Whataburger. Small parking lot on the corner. Our food was very hot and prepared accurately. The shake was thick... nice new flavor! Go try it, if it's not too cold out for ya just yet. I woke up to 30 degrees this morning, but it was 60 degrees just before sunset (according to my car while in the drive-thru). The sun makes it a little toasty inside the car, too. Hubby loved his double Whataburger with cheese. I tried the Patty Melt as it was free using the app & offer (with purchase of medium drink and fries). I liked the meatiness of it since it had two burger patties. Next time, I'll try it with extra cheese. It was a little greasy, but the bread was toasted well (dark). First of all, I have always had a love for Whataburger, and that is mainly because they cook to order and don't leave food under heat lamps. Sometimes, like today, it took longer than it should. In the restaurant industry, especially fast food, one of the main concepts is "Make less, more!" The food should be hot and prepared more efficiently. The sausage, egg, and cheese taquito was excellent and tasty. The hashbrowns...browner and crispier than they should be. This tells me the oil is older and should be changed. First of all food was delicious!! The service was terrible. I placed an order on the app, which gave me a time that my food would be ready for pick up. I was a few minutes late, but did that matter? NO my food was not ready, no one came to deliver it to me, like the app said they would. I waited 30min and finally went up to the window and asked for my order. I had to wait for someone to be visible so I could even get their attention. They acted like they didn't know which way was up and only gave me half of my order at first. They were not busy at all when I went and there was no excuse for them to have my order and for an hour and not have it filled and delivered to me. Food wasn't terrible, like some of the other reviews. Service, however, was exceedingly . I quite literally could have sat down at chilis and been done with my food by the time I ordered. Not sure what all the hype Is about. Nothing is worth this kind of wait, let alone an average burger. If chikfila can figure out high customer volume, anyone in fast food can. This just reeks of greed. Employees here look overwhelmed and under trained. Location was designed poorly, drive through made me hit my tire side wall to fit. Took 35 minutes to get through the line with only 3 people in front of me. The guy taking the order was not paying attention. I had to repeat everything at least twice. I ordered 2 meals with 2 diet drinks with no ice and the burger plain. I got ice in drinks and one was not diet. The burger had everything on it. Ended up getting out of the drive thru line and parking at the front window order / pick up. Then no one came to the window. I knocked and knocked. Went to this one today. Did an app order. I didn't have to wait long, and the food was hot and fresh. Very friendly service here too. I love the really big burgers here. I had the chili cheese burger today, I never had one and it was Delicious, their drinks are really large also, everything is a great size for the price :) read more

First time going to this location. I purchased a #1 meal and two kids meals. Everything was correct with the order but the meat was ice cold. Granted I got it to go but I live down the street it shouldn't be ice cold when I got home. The young lady at the window was super sweet. She's the saving grace for this review. read more

Horrible at following directions.. the person who took my order did everything correct, put everything down the way I asked. Who ever prepared my order cannot read. I asked for a patty melt and add jalapeños.. asked for an unsweetened tea. Asked for two packets of spicy ketchup. Guess what I received. Nothing that I specified! I literally got a sweet raspberry tea? I didn't even know that Whataburger did that.. I've been going to Whataburger for years being from Texas. But I couldn't believe that they got literally everything wrong. No jalapeños. No unsweetened tea. No spicy ketchup. I get it they just opened. But I literally wrote it down on my notes in my phone section in big text for the man taking my order to make sure I got what I wanted and to make their job easier. All I'm asking in return is for food quality control. This is crazy. Whataburger is going so automated now this location won't even let you go inside. I'd rather them just give me the ingredients and I'd put the burger together myself because this is unacceptable as a paying loyal customer. I hope the one in Sango is better otherwise I would prefer to drive to Nashville because their food quality is exceptional in comparison to this excuse for a Whataburger. read more

Stopped in twice wasn't served twice. No one came to the window sat around for at least 20 minutes. 10 minutes in the drive-through no dice came to the front window. Sat around for another 10 minutes no dice that was six months ago driving through town. I saw the sign I got excited, pulled in remembered, my last experience not getting food. Two people in the drive-through nobody out front. 10 minutes sitting in the drive-through lane no dice got out. Sat out front for 10 minutes. Poor old gentleman was sitting here wondering when he was going to get his online order. He was sitting there for 10 minutes to no one's approaching. As a fresh Texas import I was excited to see these here stopped by this location around 8pm Barely any traffic which was crazy for me coming from Houston . I ordered up the classic patty melt and sweet and spicy bacon burger with a Dr Pepper and the fries . Food was up to par with how I've always had it fries giving McDonalds a run for their money , Burgers packed full of flavor well worth the heart attack that will come later . Service was mid I only got one napkin with my bag of goodies , and wasn't asked did I want ketchup (I didn't ,but that's beside the point) overall the food is good enough to keep me coming back , post note if you're unfamiliar with whataburger they are a burger joint to go to if you're in a rush . It only took about 2 months for the 'yay we got a whataburger in Clarksville' sensation because when I go here there's no longer lines out the driveway. I'd say mainly do to the quality of food and time it takes to get food. Food never seems fresh to me. It looks like everyone has stop coming here and returned to McDonald's. read more

I want to be clear that I love Whataburger and definitely want them to succeed but this Whataburger is the worst one I've been to. They are consistently slow and take about 30 minutes to get food out. The first time I went the fries were so over cooked that they hurt to bite. This time they completely forgot the fries to one of the meals. Forgot to give us spicy ketchup. And on top of that gave us the wrong drink. I really don't know how you can mess up an order that bad. Not to mention they tried to give our order to the wrong car and that customer had to hand it back. I really hope the owners or managers read this and realize that training your employees are just as important as getting the building up. read more

If I could give a zero I would. As someone that has cooked professionally in the past I would shut this place down. Ordered the breakfast sandwich that included a burger patty in it. This patty was a day old at the least! It most definitely was not freshly cooked! I was only the 4th car inline at the opening. Everything should have been fresh. I ordered 2 large chilli cheese fries and they skimmed me! One was actually full but barely had any chilli it was mostly just cheese fries. The second however was only half full! With again barely any chilli. I would expect to actually get my moneys worth of food Like any normal person would. read more

Would give 0 stars if possible. I'm not sure who the genius behind the drive thru is, but they deserve a swift kick in the ass. I mean they have two lanes but one moves 100 times faster. You have employees making 3 trips back and forth the car before you can ever leave. This drive through holds you hostage! You better not have any plans otherwise you may as well go ANYWHERE else to eat. This place screams amateur hour on every level, especially the managerial. I've been to the Riverside branch twice now, both times the fries were cold and the burger was lukewarm. The flavor is sorta there. This last visit, I ordered and paid for a double cheese and got the single instead. When taking my order, the order taker seemed more anxious to "get through it" than "get it right". I finally caught Whataburger on MLK Blvd in Clarksville TN with the line not around the block so I drove up. Line was timed ok for the amount of vehicles. Friendly and prompt service. Food was bagged nicely and hot (!!). Got a Double Cheeseburger with the works, fries, and a Coke. All the food was neat and the pretty substantial sandwich did not fall apart when I picked it up - great!! Here is the problem - toooo much salt. No - I am not hypersensitive to salt at fast food places. My first two bites from the cheeseburger were great then I started hitting "pockets of intense salt" . . .next bite was good. . .then another "salt pocket." Bottom line - the sandwich was not evenly salted and was oversalted in some areas. Also it tasted like the hamburger bun was salted too - not good. PROPOSED REMEDY - go easy on the slat and I will return. Everyone has enough high blood pressure - more oversalting only increases risk and ruins the real taste of the food. read more

After trying the Farmers Rd location, thought we would give this location a try. All I can say is, corporate greed will be Whataburger's downfall. The company should have done a feasibility study to see if Whataburger would actually be an asset to Clarksville, or a waste of money, especially with 4 locations planned, and the 2 current locations, from my experiences, are lacking so much. Employees act like they haven't been trained, saw a review where the person's order was wrong and they took it back inside via drive thru window...once it goes out that window, it is illegal for it to go back in, all that can be done, legally, is, someone gets free food, plus, hot, fresh remake, how do I know this? Because I was at another restaurant drive thru, checked my order before I left, it was wrong, tried handing it back, but the manager told me to keep it and my fresh, correct order will be right out as he stated it is against Board of Health to take food back in through the window. With that being said, the second street location needs to be closed down and the employees need to be trained on several subjects, customer service being the top priority, as much as it hurts to say this, but, like my farmers rd location review, it's just another burger joint, nothing to get too excited about unless you like over cooked burgers snd greasy fries. As far as burger joints go, I would be more impressed and excited to see a Rally's or Checker's. I had such high hopes for Whataburger, too bad they'll never see another dollar of my money. read more
