I'm done with WhataBurger. If the portions could get any smaller for what you pay they would do it. The fries are neither cooked and crispy and hot like they should be and if you get an order it is the most beat up tiny slices of fries they could give you. I'm so happy that Whataburger is thriving in Colorado Springs; now move north! Our visit was good. The star of my #5 combo was the Whataburger With Bacon and Cheese, but the fries were really good too, and the meal paired beautifully with an oversize "medium" Dr. Pepper. I can only knock Whataburger architecture, which has gone from from A-Frame to A-Frame-Inspired to Boring-Box, or "Used Car Dealership" (as coined by my daughter). read more

Whata great chain. One of my favorites. Pleased to see they're expanding well beyond Texas. With that, whatever oil is being used on the french fries tasted off. Every time I place a mobile order, I get there at the time it says to and my order takes a minimum of 30 minutes to be ready once I'm at the restaurant. Even without a line it takes 30 minutes. wtf. read more

I grew up in Texas and didn't appreciate Whataburger growing up, but love how the chain has expanded since then! We have one at home in Vegas but it's on the Strip and not easy to access, so it was a fun treat to stop here when visiting family in COS after the zoo. Location is open 24 hours, with a double drive through and digital menu. For those who think Whataburger is a generic burger spot, you have to know what to order or use their customization options and sauces! Take notes here if you've never been or don't know what to order: I got the local specialty, the Green Chili Double (it's only available at certain locations), and added grilled onions and creamy pepper sauce. I also got a small order of fries with their spicy ketchup. This meal comes to about $18. I was able to split the burger with my husband and hog the fries for myself, with a few for my daughter. Yes, it was an indulgent meal but it really hit the spot for me. Food was a touch slow coming out but we came between meal times and food was clearly made fresh so it was worth it. First and last time at the infamous Whataburger! The $14 burger meat was dry and overcooked. Fries were crunchy and cold. And onion rings were good, but very few in an order. This new Whataburger is bright and shiny and clean and open! Staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious, if someone slow coming out. But, they do say everything is made to order, and we weren't in any hurry. My husband and I wanted to try the new Whataburger closest to our house, so we went around 8 PM (which is actually later than we usually eat). There were a few people there; we were greeted and our order was taken immediately. My husband chose the spicy chicken sandwich, combo with fries and an iced tea. I decided on the double green chili burger with lettuce added (to be as healthy as I could :-)). We were grilling our drink cup and an order number to set on our table. A rather raucous customer was standing talking to herself, and eventually had to be asked to leave when she started cursing loudly. Since the dining room is open, 24 hours on a day or two per week, I'm sure the staff has to deal with this kind of issue fairly often. And I sincerely feel for them. The staff were professional and polite as they told the woman she had to leave, despite her cursing, and insulting them continuously Despite the fact that there were few people there, our meal took quite a while to come out for which the staff apologized repeatedly. The food, when it did come out, was delicious. I think the delay was probably just because of the staff learning and adjusting to their new situation, situation and location. One thing to note is that Whataburger is known for being open 24/7 and the only day they are closed is Christmas. But, we learned, at this location, this actually means their drive-through is open 24 hours a day. The dining room is closed from midnight to 6 AM every day except Friday when they are open 24 hours. read more

Cold food not a good value. Got a free burger plus one other the total was over $ 20.00. The burger was cold, the bun was cold and almost hard, at least the veggies were cold. This is my second time and this place sucks. Don't download the app it isn't worth it. Service was mediocre at best. While there they decided to clean the floor with some rather harsh chemical that smelled awful and I must admit it added to my overall disappointment. Save your money go some where else. read more

Heard about the 75 Cent burger so I thought I would give it a try. Not sure how the 75-cent burger fairs next to the $6.00 one, but the lesser priced was nothing to write home about. The fries I ordered were in bits and pieces, and only half full. The burger bun was cold and stale, the meat was tasteless, one pickle and little else. Not so sure if I will give the 75-cent burger another try, but I will not give the six buck one a chance (for fear it might be the same). I can't justify getting the app and trying it again. Staff were very kind, however, they did forget two of our items. But we did get them later with apologies. My milkshake came out way faster than I was expecting. And the food also came out at a faster pace. The actual food though.... AMAZING!!! As a picky eater i can say that it's better than Wendy's. Better than Burger King. BETTER THAN MCDONALDS!!! I had the chicken strip meals and my family got the burgers. The chicken was FANTASTIC. They are perfectly crispy and moist, and taste even better with ranch. The fries are perfectly salted and crispy yet floppy. The burgers were filling and huge! My dad said you don't need a double because they are so filling. And the chocolate milkshake was perfectly thick(enough to easily use a straw or spoon). 10/10 wish to eat there once a week! read more

As a Texan this is a great reminder of home I just adore the medium size which would be taken as a large anywhere else and the burger is just absolutely amazing as always cannot go wrong with whataburger.
