Unfortunately I had to give this one star. First off, it took over 45 minutes to receive our food. All the trash cans were over flowing with thrash, then I went to the restroom, and had to wait for the employee to get off the phone and exit the bathroom, I waited 5 minutes...then when I walked in, , there was trash on the floor, along with blood all over the floor by the stool. This is as good as a fastfood burger gets. Also the honebutter chicken biscuit is on of the top 5 breakfast foods ever. If you dont like Mustard make sure to order your burger without it. Other than that this is as good as they come. read more

They had great customer service. They asked if we wanted cheese and other stuff on our burgers. If it were Wendy's you could say no cheese and they would give you cheese. The food was fantastic and overall a good experience for eating it there the first time. However they forgot my ranch and forgot Avocado on a family members food. read more

Usually love coming to this Whataburger... today was not one of those days. Waited 30 mins for 2 burgers. Yes, I know I could have left. But this review is for Jazz. Your attitude sucks. Don't get an attitude with me because you suck at your job. They messed up the orders of customers orders, she asked what our order was, my husband told her our order but clearly it wasn't good enough. She then asked what kind of sandwich it was and he told her.... she replied with "that's what I just asked you." With a badass attitude. I understand things get messed up but you don't take it out on the customer. You work customer service, do your job right with a good attitude. This is a Texas chain that somehow imported itself to Florida. I haven't experienced this place in over ten years since departing NASA and my frequent trips to JSC (AKA 'Hello Houston, we have a problem....') Maybe my taste buds were less acute 'back in the day' but I seriously did not get the buzz I used to get from this chain. Perhaps a local issue only, but my overall impression was tasteless bland meat, too much mustard, crappy toppings. The only 24 hour place available for food in the area after my midnight arrival. Edible, so two stars, but not much more IMHO. Good in desperate situations for food that is edible (not much more) late at night in the middle of nowhere. read more

Sign outside said "Open 24 hours a day. Since 1950!" Omg, that's a lot of hours! Stopped here on our way toward the Alabama line headed home from Spring Break. We hit it at a good time.. timed it just right... the cashier girl said there had just been a bus load of a girls softball team and they had just left. So all of our food was hot and fresh. We were served quickly and soon as we sat down here comes a bus load of a boys baseball team. All 4 of us agreed that it was good and this was the first time for all of us to eat at a Whataburger. Not bad. If you have ever been to In-N-Out on the west coast, this place is like their second cousin twice removed. Lol. I would return. I had them add cheese to my burger. Fries taste potatoey if that makes any sense. Gives it a handmade vibe. Burgers aren't bad. Great for a quick stop. I don't think it's filling, but I only had a Jr. burger. They have larger burgers available. Go with those if you're hungry. read more

Visiting from out of town and we've seen Whataburgers all over the Destin and Ft. Walton area we didn't really come to FL for burgers but wanted to try unique and local for a quick lunch. Sadly, probably the best food I've had in Destin. Much better than most fast food, I was really surprised. Staff was very nice, and my bacon burger hit the spot. I saw a sign that said now hiring, starting pay $11. I think it shows that they pay above minimum with the quality of my food and the service. read more

Witness at least two people preparing foods without wearing gloves... thought all the restaurants have the rules that everyone has to wear gloves while preparing food. I'm from out of state and always make sure to stop at a Whataburger before I leave. We stopped here and Tom, the manager, went above and beyond with our lunch. We wanted to split a burger and chicken sandwich to try both and when Tom brought them to our table, he had already cut them in half and wrapped them individually for us. Talk about great customer service!! On my next vacations, I will keep coming here as long as Tom is the manager! read more

Whataburger is one of those chains that is really location dependent..some are great..some are lousy...this one is top notch...Management cares about it and they hire and train a good staff...quality service at a fast food place is a rarity these days but this place has it in abundance...they really have the best fast food breakfast with the Tacquitos with Sausage and Cheese and The Honey Chicken Biscuit being stand outs...at all other times ya cant go wrong with a Double Whataburger with Cheese..the WhataChickin and the not listed on the menu but always available delicious WhataCatch...really like the special sandwich they have going right now The Monterey Melt...no review of Whataburger would be complete without mentioning their addictive Ketchup and the now full time available Spicy Ketchup...there's a reason this stuff sells for 20+ a Bottle on E-Bay since its only available in The H.E.B Grocery Chain in Texas..if your in FWB drive to this location specifically you will not regret it read more

Burgers are of inconsistent quality/taste - as compared to other locations. Sometimes they forget items that would normally be included in other locations as 'with everything' - like pickles, or skimp on the dressing(s) that make it a top notch burger at other locations.
