Tonight we came here after a concert, we had VERY SIMPLE orders, and they couldn't get anything right over the intercom in the drive thru so we pulled around to give them our order at the window. They STILL COULD NOT GET OUR ORDER RIGHT AFTER REPEATING MULTIPLE TIMES. I don't understand how it's that hard to get a #26 with an extra sausage gravy but what do I know, right? (Not all we ordered) Then they threw a fit when we asked for both spicy and regular ketchup. I'm sorry we're paying customers asking for something. Jeez. This is a great Whataburger! I mean, most Whataburgers are pretty good, but this one was just a little better then most that I've gone to in the area. This lobby is very clean, the staff is professional and the food was hot, fresh and it seemed like they put a little extra care into it's preparation. I had the incredible (and limited time) Bar-B-Que Cheddar burger (see pic) and I really wish they would just leave it on the menu. Thankfully they normally carry all the ingredients for this burger, so I'm pretty sure I can special order it anytime if I want it bad enough. :) If you ever want to special order one it's two beef patties, shredded cheddar cheese, pickles, onions and Bar-B-Que sauce. I've been waiting for my curbside food for 45 mins. (Order will be out there in five mins) most bullshit thing I've ever seen.

The employee taking my card to pay did not say one word to me. Phrases such as "this is your total", "thank you", "have a nice day", all would've sufficed but I received utter silence. The employee at the second window only really aggressively said "pull up" since apparently I was too far back, and then ignored me when I said thank you when she handed me my food. I also think it's pretty standard that they cut the grilled cheese in half, but it was just twice whole slices of bread smacked together. Still tasted good but honestly how long would it have taken to simply slice it? This isn't the end of the world and I understand that customer service jobs are not always extremely pleasant to work in. Some customers can be very rude and frustrating and I understand that, however people such as myself try to be super friendly to employees because I know it's a rough job some days! However, experiences such as the one today don't make me want to be friendly since they were so rude. A smile and a simple thank you can go a long way. No matter what you ask for they will find a way to mess it up. Never drive off without looking in the bad because it will always be wrong. Ok Texas. Whataburger is pretty good. Visiting from California for work. All burgers are compared to the king, The Double-Double. I rolled into this location, hungry as a bear, and ordered a #2 combo, all the way. Great double burger, big, juicy, well-seasoned with plenty of fresh toppings and lots of diced onions. Very good burger. Right up my alley. However, it was over $11.00 for the meal. At In-N-Out I'd have the same meal with change back from a $10.00 bill. Here's a quickie review. This is Whataburger. The food is good to very good. I normally get the Grilled Chicken sandwich and it is always very good. The service is normally good. Save yourself some time and aggravation and drive the extra 5-10 minutes to a different location. Waited in a 7-8 car line for 30 minutes. When I ordered I was told a sandwich that I have ordered for years at other locations, at all different times, wasn't available because it wasn't breakfast hours. I add hash browns to it. It was 10:45pm and they serve breakfast at 11. Maybe it is a new rule, but by the time they handed me my food it would have been considered "breakfast hours". The other burger I ordered was not correct and the patty was cold/possibly raw in the middle. This location is an absolute joke. I've been a couple times, and have never gotten my order right, the wait times are way longer than locations with more traffic and the workers are unprofessional. Drive the extra couple of minutes to Benbrook, or the Berry st location. You'll probably get your food faster anyways. read more
