Outta towner who wanted to see what Whataburger was all about. From CA and the IE this place reminds me of bakers. I had a beacon guacamole burger on Texas toast. The burger was okay I think I was most a fan of the spicy ketchup and sauces. I would say a regular standard burger is better than the one I got. I would come back and try something else.

Nasty, dried out, waste of money.

How could you improve? Fire the cook and take pride in what you give to the public. This was the w9rst burger I ever got. Look at the lettuce, it's nasty.

Really friendly and solid customer service. I had a great first time experience trying Whataburger and ordering via drive thru window. I was given many recommendations from friends on what I should order but I decided to go with the classic chicken tenders as it's be the perfect vehicle to try Whataburger's unique selection of sauces. The strips were nothing special but I enjoyed them- 3 strips were pretty filling as the combo came with toast & fries. Now, as a sauce fanatic, I was lost in the sauce... in the best way possible! I asked for the gravy, creamy pepper, honey butter, jalapeno ranch, and spicy ketchup. My top three sauces for dipping were the 1) gravy (creamy, black peppery) 2) spicy ketchup (not spicy but a fun twist on your classic ketchup, reminded me of a more savory shrimp cocktail sauce) and 3) honey butter (no other words to describe aside from 'yum'). Fries weren't special but I love potatoes in all its forms. I look forward to my next visit!

I grew up in Texas where Whataburger is the best! I've been in Az over 15 years and when I get a craving for it I give in like an idiot and go to my local Whataburger in Goodyear on Indian School, I tried the new one on Estrella one day but low and behold, they were out of hamburger buns! Yes! So I just went to Indian School and I have decided it is alas my last time going to that place. As per usual, I got cold chewy fries that were probably sitting there for a while, not even under a lamp because they were not the slightest bit warm. The burger was just as cold, good thing I just ordered a Jr. Best part of the meal was the lemonade tea, because it helped when I started choking on this dry , cold meal. NEVER again!!!!!Freddy's is by far the best, always hot and fresh, always consistent. Not sure why they opened a new Whataburger on Estrella. Please close this place down and re build into a Freddys!!! Wish I could give "0" stars.

Absolutely the best I've had in a long time from WB. This includes CO and TX locations. Food presentation, freshness and speediness were unparalleled to most fast food. Amazed this was in Goodyear!

Absolutely disgusting went there this morning at 5 AM. The girl at the counter had her shirt tied to a half top both breakfast on the buns with jalapeños seemed like they were there all night. They were ice, cold and very very salty. Are usually go there once or twice a week and get the same meal. It's pretty good but today was absolutely disgusting so much Salt I couldn't even eat them both of them.

Unfortunately this visit was not as good as prior visits. I used the online app for the first time to order. Once home, we started to eat and noticed the fries were dried and stale. Out of seven orders, one of our double burger Pattie's looked like it had a bite taken out of it. The crew did look a bit green. Maybe next time.

Great food as always. I know I get it. My opinion. Food was presented well fresh vegetables and burger prepared exactly as I requested. Even with all the specifics I requested. In addition it did not delay the preparation or time served to me. Kaylah took my order. She was very kind and patient with my order. She was courteous and her infectious smile made my day. I actually forgot my car was at the shop. Jacob M was all over the place. Keeping the lobby clean, on the register and delivering food all with a huge smile and extremely friendly. He might have even snuck in some kitchen time. I seriously thought I saw a red Superman shirt under the brown one he was wearing. Don't think I sat around for 30 min. I was in and out with a full belly 10 min tops. With that type of service who wouldn't like Whataburger.

If I could give a Big Fat Zero stars I would. Let me first start off by saying that I love Whataburger. It is my very fave fast food. Any chance I get I will always choose WTB I especially love their breakfast taquitos. This morning I went to this location and waited forever at the counter for help to the point I was wondering if they were open. People were in there working but no one came to the counter. Finally, the manager came over and took my order. They were out of coffee at 7am. Does that mean they hadn't made any for the day? Then my breakfast arrives and again the manager brings it to the table. The biscuit was so hard I couldn't eat it. On the way back to the counter the manager steps over trash on the floor. Straw wrappers, napkins etc. I couldn't believe it. It wasn't just 1 item it was several. See the pic attached. This is the worst WTB I have ever been to and will not go back. If the corporate office would go in there and get it straightened up like the WTB I expect then maybe.

Whataburger is nearby our house and it just works for us! I am from the East coast where I had never heard of this fast food place. Almost 15 years after moving to AZ I remember the first time having this crazy named burger. I didn't know what to get but it was for sure very tasty. Now that I have it as often as I can when I am in a hurry, or just as often as I do tacos, (hello? we do leave in AZ) I have been able to customize exactly what I like. I really enjoy their onion rings and being from Latin America, of course, I love that n a fast food place I can add avocado to my cheeseburger with grilled onions. YUMMM. The kids also enjoy the fact that sometimes they enjoy the nuggets which they call bites or they might want the chicken tenders. Sometimes I might even want one of those tenders, however, I always stick to the usual. My burger and onion rings. I know there are plenty of reasons why so many low reviews, specially for the customer service, thankfully, every time I have been to this location, which is usually the one I mostly go to. I have gone both via the drive through and inside, and I have been able to have good customer service as well as lucked out on the yummy food!! Enjoy!

The only thing negative I have to say about the In-N-Out chain is to how they prepare their Animal style fries... fresh potatoes fried, but then microwaved to melt the cheese is the reason why the potatoes immediately lose their crunch. So do yourself a favor and order normal fries and just get an extra side of spread because it's not worth it to lose out on the quality french fry. Order the onions EVERY WAY and you'll have three different types and put that extra cheese on there for a patty melt like type dream. Go big or go home, add those chopped chilies. Glory be to God, follow the yellow brick arrow and click your red heels three times.. while the line may be long, it is no different than the time you waste at Chick-fil-A or standing in line at the grocery store while you have to watch everyone else ring up their own groceries before you have an opportunity to play cashier yourself. Stop complaining, eat the bread and order the 3x3. If you are not burning carbs, order it protein style. The staff is usually pretty well put together, and that line never stops moving. You will never change my mind about the subject. Stay healthy kids.

The only thing I don't like about this location is that it's right next to the freeway with a tiny lot. This place is so popular, I feel they could have easily chose a location a few blocks down or somewhere else in Avondale with more space as we know, night or day- it feels claustrophobic to come here. But, noms nom-the-less

I got a birria taco and my hubs got an al pastor quesadilla. We also got a side of rice and horchata. Horchata- creamy and delish (which says a lot because I don't usually care for it) Rice- was good to me but the peas could be left out lol Quesadilla- the meat was flavorful and owned every bite. Tortilla was nice and everything was a perfect ratio Birria- OMG! The flavor was perfect and the cheese. It was so hard not to eat it in one bite lol. I foot to add consume but honestly it didn't need it. I loved the flavor and how tender the meat was I've driven past the Litchfield location and always wanted to try so I am happy we made it into this location! Definitely will have to make my way to that one since it's a little closer to home. Also the seating is ample inside and the girls are nice! Kitchen was quick as well. Even when it was dead to watching alone form, they busted out those orders

I stopped by on a Saturday night to finally check it out. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the trompo right away, which is always a good sign. I stepped up to the counter and was greeted with a warm smile from the young lady up front. After looking over the menu, I ordered two tacos de tripa and two tacos de suadero. She asked if I wanted the tripas extra crispy I said no. I also asked how they prepare the suadero since I didn't see a choricera, but she wasn't sure. When the food came out, the tripas were a letdown. The texture was off, almost like a stale chip, and they were clearly overcooked. I asked if I could swap them for something safer, so I went with asada instead, but that didn't impress either. It didn't taste very fresh. Now here's the reason you should come to Tacos Chilangos: the suadero. Even though it's not cooked the traditional way, it was absolutely delicious. Perfect meat-to-fat ratio, super flavorful, and easily the standout. The guacamole salsa was top tier. I kept going back to that one over the others. All in all definitely stop by to try the suadero as for as the other two I'd would probably give them a second try.

The restaurant is located near several businesses, including KFC, Walgreens, and a Sam's Club gas station, making it an easy stop while out and about. The staff inside were very friendly, and we only had to wait a few minutes for our order to be ready. Everything was packaged well when we received it. However, once we got home about 15 minutes later, we were disappointed with the food quality. The fries were extremely soggy and tasted undercooked, as if they had been taken out too soon. The burger was also soggy and did not taste freshly made -- it seemed like it may have been sitting for a while before pickup. Fortunately, I was able to contact Whataburger customer service. They kindly provided additional reward points for a future visit, and I also requested a refund since we were unable to enjoy the meal. This experience was disappointing because it's not what we're used to at other locations. A helpful tip would be to ensure fries are cooked fully so they stay crisp, avoid over-salting the food, and make sure orders are prepared fresh rather than sitting too long before customers arrive.

I live in LA and this is the closest location and I just happen to be coming to the Phoenix area to hike, so it became my moment to finally try what my friend had long been raving about! We all have fondness for things we grew up with, so I really wasn't sure what to expect based on my friends reviews. My first thoughts were how clean and well kept everything was, the staff was very pleasant, the menu, simple, yet robust, which also includes breakfast in the early hours before 11am. I was thinking it would be another greasy spoon, like a Burger King, but it was more on the level of a Chick-fil-A because of how pleasant and excited the employees appeared, as well as, the care taken for every aspect of the business. The food was made-to-order, the portions were much larger than I expected, the ingredients were all high-end, and it was packaged with care. I had ordered two sandwiches because it was my first time, but apparently she sold me a third one that I didn't know about, but that was OK, since I wanted to try as much as I could. Since the portions were larger than expected, I took the other two sandwiches with me for our long journey back to LA. (had one when I got home at 9pm, and had the other for breakfast). I wouldn't say the food was particularly unique, or stood out in any manner other than the fact that it was fresh, made with quality items and was tasty and filling; however, the collective experience was enjoyable, and I would frequent it if there was one in my area.
