I asked the worker when the system was getting fixed and they told me it works management just sends them outside. It was pushing 100 degrees is this how we treat our workers? This is the WORST Whataburger ever. They have gotten my order wrong every single time and this is not an exaggeration. They are very incompetent. I would rather drive 20 extra min to go to the one in Richmond where they understand how to make a simple order. On top of them not getting the order right the food is disgusting. The employees definitely make a difference in the quality of food. The manager here is extremely rude as well. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. I know why I am not a Whataburger fan because I am not especially impressed with the food but the service has always been decent till today. I visited the location on Hwy6 near westpark and the young lady at the cashier was clueless. First she could not tell my mom was on a Monterey Melt and then I ordered onion rings and when the order came they did not, I asked about them and that same young lady said I didn't order that.. Well I showed her receipt and she gets my onion rings. Oh and one last thing, the drink station had three different sodas that were out .but no one bothered to change it out or post sign, let people know that those were not working. There's a first for everything. And this I have to say was my first horrible visit at a whataburger. Went through the drive-thru, when I got there; there was only one person in front of me (whom which got their food within minutes) and I still waited over 20 minutes for my food. All I ordered was a 3 piece chicken strip with fries and a kids burger with fries. Pretty easy order, right? Well I guess not, if it take over 20 minutes to prepare it. The burger bun was soggy, the chicken was like eating a rock. Cooked way to look. The fries weren't fresh, soggy as well. Before I left, 5 more cars were in the drive thru behind me. In which 2 of them paid and got their food right away. Not so much fast food when you have to wait almost half an hour for food to come out. Ridiculous. read more

Tried it again for lunch today, and what a difference, a complete 180'... I ordered (again) just a kid's cheeseburger with Mustard, Ketchup, and pickles. My sister got her regular Whataburger without tomato and an order of fries. I ended up with a cheeseburger that was at LEAST the size of a McyD's quarter-pounder, I mean, I needed two hands to eat it, and it was gooooood. Juicy, a little salty, and a lot of mustard like I like it. Marisa's fries were so yummy, super hot and salty. As good as, or if not better than McDonald's. A nice touch is that when they bring your food to your table, the server presents you a box o' condiments to choose from, ketchup, all sorts of sauces (BBQ, Honey Mustards, etc...) I like sauces for my fries other than ketchup, but my sister swears that Whataburger has "THE best ketchup!!" I gotta go back for that Honey Chicken Biscuit (I think that's what it is!) before I head back to Boston on Monday. I stopped in the other day to fill my spicy ketchup fix. The drive-thru was vacant except for one car already waiting at the window. The guy I spoke to when I ordered was very polite and patient as I decided on what I wanted to eat. (I really wanted onion rings, but I needed fries to dip in spicy ketchup. Serious decisions.) One I placed my order, he told me to pay at the first window. A sweet girl greeted me and took my payment. I noticed he gave me a higher payment price than she did, but all my food was included. Once I got to the second window, I was waiting behind the car that had been sitting there when I placed my order. I don't know why, but almost 15 minutes after he got his food and I finally drove up to the window, they gave me the wrong food. They only figured it out when they tried to give me the large drink with it, and I said I had a small chocolate malt. "Give me that bag back, it's the wrong one." Okay, 3 people at the window shouldn't have this much trouble getting food out. Also, how could you get someone else's food ahead of mine when I was sitting behind one car for 15 minutes? I had to stop and go back inside because all the extra spicy ketchup I asked for was put in the WRONG bag. FAIL. read more

Service was great and had no problem with my food but I need to put a one star so maybe they will notice this review. I came to eat here on Jan. 29 around 9pm and left around 11:30pm. Shortly after leaving my gf realizes her phone is missing. We look everywhere and realize it has to be at this location because she had it while we were there and suddenly it was missing. I return and the lobby was closed already I proceed to the front and knock and a lady that looked like a manager doesn't even come to open the door and just signals me to go to drive thru. I point at my phone and point inside to say that I think I may have lost a phone in there. She only gestures to ask where I was seated so I pointed in the direction. She proceeds to roll her eyes and moves her head side to side as she walks over and just says no. Mind u I wanted to ask if she could ask employees if someone had turned a phone in. After saying no she just walks to the back as I continue to call the phone and after what seemed like 10 min. of waiting someone picked up the phone. It turns out it was one of the employees and she proceeded to ask where I was and I told her I was in the front of the store. The last customers were leaving so I finally walked in and she handed me the phone. I proceed to look at who I think the manager is from earlier and she has a wide eyed expression on her face and says "I didn't know she had a phone she never told me" the worker replied "yeah a customer turned it in" I tell her that that's why I wanted to come inside and ASK if someone had turned a phone in but she just didn't bother to come and ask me and acting like it was a big deal to let me in the store to look myself. The lady looked Hispanic with glasses and her hair tied up in a bun. She wasted 15+ min. of me looking around from outside the store to see if I could spot my phone from outside. This could've been resolved within 3 min. had she just let me inside. She needs to be trained in customer service because she handled this situation very poorly.. read more

The food is fine. Its fast food so it is what it is but at this particular location the person working the window when ordering was rude. I ordered my food then changed my mind and he got an attitude like it was the worse thing in the world. All I wanted was a chicken sandwich and a sprite but he was confused perhaps and it seemed to frustrate him. I have rarely had issues with people and when I do, i usually understand. I've came to this exact whataburger three days in a row because I was just craving it everyday. For what reason? I don't know. Maybe just for the spicy ketchup ahaha. This one particular time I came inside & it was rush hour, very busy. I ordered, staff was very nice & then I headed off to work. Obviously, I bought it so I can eat it during my break later during the day, & that's what I did. Upon opening it, i was confused on why there were so many stickers on my burger wrapper, as it usually just has one, "bacon." As you can see from the attached picture, there's four different stickers, three of which I didn't ask for. No problem. I understand. It was busy, we all make mistakes from time to time when rushed. I called the same whataburger around 7PM or 8PM & asked to speak to a manager or someone in charge. I spoke with the manager named Maryam, who was very sorry & gave me a chance to get a new burger if I still had my receipt with me, which I did. I came the next day around 11:30PM & told the employees who were taking the order the situation with Maryam & I. I also asked if I can add on to that burger because I also wanted fries & some other things but when I asked to order more, i got a HUGE sigh in return following a "okay, what else?" I was flustered because in my head, i'm like "i'm hungry, i want more than a burger. I'm giving you money for it, not asking for free." & said "excuse me?!" he said "nothing ma'am, what else would you like?" I said "Well.. then just a large fries." He heard me getting angry because of the attitude he gave me & then started being nice. After that, I don't know if the guy giving me my food was the same person, as the voices sounded different from the intercom & in person but whoever was working the night of 7 January 2018 and took my order, you're lucky my temper was calm because I was butt tired when I ordered my food & did not feel like arguing & going further with you. Horrible service. The worst customer service. Placed an order thru App wait time 1 hour. They claim they were short staffed.

The staff is great sometimes and rude others. Sometimes they are fast but most of the time they are slow and half the time if not more they will mess up your order. I ask for no cheese and they either miss it, add cheese to something that doesn't normally come with cheese or ignore the receipt and add it anyway. Which to others is a preference but to me is a severe allergy. read more

I normally dont write reviews but this place really bothered me so I thought I'd share my story. Before I start, let me say I love Whataburger, but anyways. A couple of months back I came to this Location to enjoy my A1 Thick and hearty burger, my favorite burger on the menu, but I always ask for NO ONIONS. Its because I gag when I eat them and sometimes even puke especially when they are uncooked. So I when I made my order, I said "Please No onions" as I ordered Maybe The didnt hear me or just forgot. (It happens no big deal) But sure enough there were onions in my burger. I kindly told them I didnt ask for onions and as kindly as can be the sever said "Im sorry we'll make you a new burger". I didnt request a new burger but I assumed this was common protocol since this wasnt the first time a Whataburger has left onions in but its what other Whataburgers do and its not a problem. So when I received my "new" Thick and Hearty burger it had a bright sticker on it that read "No Onions". I took a big bite of the burger and tasted the distinct foul taste of Onions and I gagged and almost threw up... I went to the Manager this time and said this is the same burger i can still taste the onions. She assured me that it wasnt and directed me back to my seat. It wasnt untill I found an onion in the patty that she finally accepted her fault. She then Angrily remade my burger and Added an Apple pie.. I took it home and I didnt eat it because No one knows what she could have done to my burger. I threw it away and ate something else when I got home.... But Today, I return and Order the same thing. Im sure they remembered me and the previous incident because im a distinct fellow standing 6'5" tall and I ordered the same thing. But this time when I opened my burger I found a pair of onion slices lodged into the bun. You could tell it was purposely done. I went back to the cash register to request a small container of A1 Thick and hearty sauce and the manager served the customer in front of me and profiled into the kitchen i stood there unserved for about 30 seconds untill I had to yell "EXCUSE ME" into the kitchen loud enough for someone cooking to assist me. I didnt complain about the onions this time because I just figured this review would serve a better purpose. I did however, take a picture of the onions next to my wrapper that said no onions on it but I dont know how to add pictures here. The Thing that bothered me the most is that this behavior was coming from the highest position in the store, the manager, representing all of the younger employees there and also setting an example from them as well. Even when she deals with other customers she rarely smiles and looks very rude and mean. This is not how Whataburgers are supposed to be. I have eaten at whataburgers for years. This is a newer location so I expect better quality. You will know her when you see her, she is a hispanic lady with blonde hair with a heavy accent and you wont miss her because she will probably be working there for the rest of her life... I definitely wont be returning to this whataburger ever again. read more

This, is good, but nowhere near FAST food. If you go through the drive thru, do not expect a wait less than 12-18 minutes, even without a line in front of you. Burgers are so greasy that if you don't eat them immediately, you're left with a greasy mess that shines through the wrapper. read more

whataburger is, well, whataburger. theres nothing particularly special about this one location, just that its more convenient for me. i usually get the whatachickn' or chickn strips, which are both awesome. only issue ive had with this one location, is the wait time. for drive thru orders, i expect my order to be done well, pretty quickly. i mean if i had the time, i'd park my car and honker on in for a seat! and im normally very okay with having to wait, but every time i go, whether theyre busy or not, even if im the ONLY person in the drive thru, they always make me pull over to the side. now this isnt usually a problem, but when it does get busy, theres at least 4 cars waiting! and it took 15 minutes for me to get my food. i mean come on! if i had 15 minutes to sit around and wait, i shouldve just gotten up and went inside to eat! the fries are okay, and well quite frankly i hope that the new whataburger on hwy6 and west belfort area isnt as slow. heres hoping! read more

I was tired of yogurt / pastries for breakfast all week, so I decided to stop by and get a sausage and egg taquito. Pretty simple, but always good when I order them at any Whataburger. Shout out to the guy working the drive-thru window at this location - he was super nice and polite, and he said thank you and have a great day. If he was having a good day, you could tell. If he was having a bad day, well you couldn't tell because of how great his customer service was. Hopefully he was having a good day though. read more

I only ordered a shake and a soda and takes me forever to wait. They have lane A and B. B is longer and waiting and a person comes out to take your order that up to now haven't given back my change. Not a Whataburger but whatafkboger. Sorry it is just taking more than 15min for a milk shake and a soda fountain. After another 5minutes another staff came out and asked what was my orders. Then after 4min the guy who took my order came out with my orders. And i asked him if they don't give change anymore if the change is less than a dollar and he said mmmm let me get your change. Seriously i am generous to give tips when we go eat out or valet parking...that is beside the point. A CUSTOMER SERVICE and you don't steal change. You wait until its give to you. Regardless if its a penny or 100 bucks! I will go to your website and please train your staff with customet service and provide hearing aids! read more

Every time I come to this location they mess up my food. This time they up charged me for French fries and didn't give me the fries. At this time the inside was closed and they wouldn't let me inside. I knocked on the door and 3 employees looked at me with headphones in pointing at me to go to the line which had 10 cars in it. I clearly had a bag of food in my hands and was telling them they messed up my order and I wasn't about to wait 30 min to get fries. I stood outside for 5 minutes before the manager came to ask me what was the problem. It's not like I wanted to come inside I just wanted my food handed to me with the correct order. The last two times I came they didn't put meat on my burger, at this point the service is horrible here. I will be calling corporate to let them know about the poor service I constantly receive here. Texas favorite turning into pure garbage. It's frustrating working in the food industry and going to get food when your off and it's never right. read more

I don't usually write reviews, but I had to make an exception for this whataburger location, because I've had multiple bad experiences at this location. The last two were the worst. Usually they just get my order wrong but these last two visits I received very bad customer service. Each time the male manager was really rude and made smart remarks under his breath. The last visit I got 1 small chocolate shake and 1 medium chocolate shake and when I get to the window the woman gives me two small shakes and one is chocolate and one is vanilla and I told her what I ordered and she told me "no! That's not what you said! You are lying." I was very stunned and I just said calmly no I didn't order that. I never raised my voice at her or tried to annoy her cause I didn't want them to spit in my drinks. So then the male manager came over very annoyed at me and said under his breath that I was holding up the line. I was very confused with their reaction, because I work in a restaurant and even if someone ordered something and it came out wrong or I misheard them, my response would always be "I'm so sorry let me fix that for you". So I couldn't believe she actually tried to tell me I'm a liar. That's rude and extremely bad customer service. This location is very close to where I live and I'll probably still return because it's convenient, but I may not be able to hold my tongue next time.
