This is the closest Whataburger to me - and I have to say, I'm addicted to the patty melt and breakfast taquitos. This location is hit or miss - with a lot more hits than misses - but occassionally you'll get a cold bag of fries or a sweet tea that tastes like coffee (gross). With this location it seems that it's more about timing - you do NOT want to get caught in the after hours club line. It's bonkers. And doesn't move. Apparently every drunk person loves Whataburger. As far as WAB goes, at this location is top notch. Super friendly and super efficient and super fast service. The staff here is well regulated and you can tell these people work hard for their money. Quality is always consistent, and you are sure that you were going to get fresh hot fast food. If you have to eat fast food, it might as well be a double meat What A Burger. And if you have to eat water burger you might as well pick this location, the little things are taken care of, it's very very clean, the restroom is always attended to, and when you order there's always someone nice with something to suggest if you don't know what you want. I can't resist a double meat what a burger with a large fry. And of course I go for a Diet Coke because I'm an idiot like that. But back to the review of the location, there's not much more I can say except the food is really good and the place is very clean. read more

I have to update my review, sadly, to give this Whataburger 3 stars. I just recently started eating fast food again, so maybe I was out of the loop. But, DAMN THESE LINES! Jesus Christ! I barely ever eat fast food, but when I do, WAB is my choice. However, I will start either going elsewhere or just not eating it. The lines are absolutely ridiculous and they don't move AT ALL. I usually get WAB for breakfast on my way to work around 6:45. I kid you not, the line was 5 cars deep. AT 6:45 in the morning! I had to go to Kolache Factory to get some breakfast, the SECOND time that I've had to forego WAB this week because of the lines. Lately. any time I crave it, whether it be 6:45am, 1pm, or 8pm, the line is way too long and moves far too slow to warrant staying. Also, the woman in the morning, I believe Ms. Evelyn(?) she is very sweet. However, being told 2 different times "God Bless You" is very aggravating. Yes, it's a sweet thing and I know she means well. But, not everyone is religious. I know WAB is a Christian company, but you should control what you say out of respect of customers. read more

I was waiting in line to get served. A black man comes in behind me and gets in line. The cook which is black called out to the black man behind me what did he want. He told her. A few minutes later she comes out with his order. I am still waiting in line. He had finished eating half his breakfast before I got my order. This to me was discrimination. I am white and have never had anything racist happen to me. Totally inappropriate of this employee. I did tell the manager and he said he would take care of it. Very rude managers and employees, I ordered a pico de Gallo burger and I found a hair in my burger, I called and complained and I was angry because I paid good money to get food and the manager was very rude and was threatening me by telling me that she recording me, like is that really how you talk to your customers? When I came I was expecting food that was fresh not anything that would have hair in it. And why isn't the managers making sure their employees have hair net? I am in love with their bacon and cheese whataburger meals (#5) this is the only thing that I have really had on numerous occasions and have consistently been happy. Their fries are amaze balls! I used to be a fan of mc donald's fries, but now, I don't even think about mc donald's and fries in the same sentence. The drink is huge and usually crispy ( I ask for coke and I am usually tres picky- but have never been disappointed here). I've never sat in, since it is way easier just to go through the drive-thru, and I know I should probably really sample other items on their menu, but.... I'm still in a #5 state of mind. I took a late-night, drunken stroll in search of munchies in Houston and wound up here. I was scared for life not just because of the clientele but because of the questionable sanity conditions of his particular location. As I mentioned before I was wasted so the alcohol in my system guarded against any possible sanitary ramifications. I also showed no fear because I could barely see straight. As a visitor from the Northwest, I was told Whataburger is a must! We went through the drive thru and only waited around five to seven minutes, nothing unbearable. I ordered the Whataburger with cheese, a side of fries and a chocolate shake. It totaled around $8 which is pretty reasonable for one person. They were out of napkins so the employee shoved a paper towel in our bag, a little odd. But nonetheless, for fast food, the burger was pretty impressive! It wasn't greasy, there was good amount of meat and all of the vegetables were fresh and crisp. However, the burger was really the only standout. First! Texas has a lot of spots to get burgers and fast food that the upper Midwest may not have and this is one of the places I go to when I'm out there. From the bun that is lightly toasted, to the iceberg chopped lettuce, to their fries and even their Ketchup. ALL GOOD! There is, straight up, NOTHING better than the Honey Biscuit Chicken sandwich.... I can eat that thing EVERY day, especially after a night of drinking! It is a m a z i n g!! I had to trade my husband the chicken for his burger because he is allergic to tomato and it was all over that burger. This is pretty much the only WB location that my friends and I frequent because it's easy to get to from our homes. I have never had an issue with any of my orders or anything and I would say about 95% of the people that work here are the most genuine people that I've ever dealt with in fast food. (The older workers are the best.) My favorite worker is a middle-age black lady (apologies for not knowing name and having to use race as a description). She calls me and everyone else "sweetheart" and "honey" and it always makes my day when she works drive-thru. If anyone in management at this location reads this.. This Whataburger never disappoints me food wise, but I still for the life of me can't understand the way they run their double drive though. They have 2 drive throughs and 2 lanes to drive up to the window. Every time I come to this location though if someone orders in the second lane they have them MERGE into the first lane. How does that makes sense when they have their own lane?? It always makes the driver they merge in front angry and I can only guess it slows everything down. On top of that if you do try to order in the second lane you're basically guaranteed to wait too long for someone to finally talk to you. Speaking from experience and watching them do it to others. You shouldn't have to be some whataburger "insider" to know not to use that lane, they should just be trained on how to properly take orders from both lanes!! Came in and waited 20 minutes for Cold food, an attitude and insufficient condiments. Called the Number on receipt to inform upper management and the GM called me the next morning to invite me back to the restaurant for a free meal and to just tell the staff or manager my name and they would take care of me. Worst service I've ever had in my life! The drive thru worker, who I now know is named Keisha, is the most unpleasant, ratchet, unprofessional, person I've ever encountered in my life! I drove up to the drive thru and the first thing she said was "what do you want to order?!" I replied by asking for more time and she said nothing. When I was ready, I asked if she was still there and she said "yeah I'm waiting on you to order." Well, upon reaching the window, I gave her my form of payment and when I asked if she could get me a puppy cup with some ice cream in it for my dog she ROLLED HER EYES and said "OMG I CANT WITH YOU!!! People like Keisha don't deserve to have a job. She is ungrateful and classless.
