I stopped into Whataburger as they for celebrating their 75th anniversary August 8, 2025, and were offering Whataburgers for 75 cents through the app. I ordered a Whataburger, small fry and banana pudding milkshake at the counter. I waited roughly 7-8 minutes for my meal and it was delivered to my table. The Whataburger was much larger than other fast food burger restaurants. The burger was hot and juicy. The tomatoes were not very good but other than that it was a good burger. The fries were crispy and hot. And I had no idea they offered spicy ketchup with jalapenos. The ketchup was a game changer LOL! The banana pudding milkshake with okay, but nothing to brag about. The cashier offered me a sample before I purchased which I should have done;) I would eat at this Whataburger location again. read more

I go to Whataburger a couple of times per year. When I get a craving for that double burger and fries I gotta have it. This is a nice, new location. Easy in and easy out from the drive thru. I've never been inside. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I'll continue to go to this Whataburger location when those cravings hit. read more

Setting the stage, it was late at night, around 11pm, and the fridge was empty- all out of food, with no way to get to the store until the next day. I was bleary-eyed with an empty belly, and so I'd decided to see what places were open. The only one was Whataburger, and though I'd never tried them before, I figured something was better than nothing. Almost an hour later, I've secured my bag and am back at home. I open it and there are no fries, no sauce packets, no nothing, just a measly little bundle wrapped in paper. I'm a little exasperated, but whatever, I just wanna eat already. Well, I unwrap what I thought would be my dinner for that night, only to be met with an unholy abomination. For starters, I'd asked for a burger, right? Usually burgers have burger buns. But no, they had the audacity to give me two pieces of sandwich bread- not even the perfectly square kind like on patty melts, but the same bread you'd go buy at a grocery store to make a ham and cheese sandwich with. I was confused and upset, to say the least. It was covered in a grimy sort of sheen, like it'd been greased up and cast to the side, discarded and forgotten about, only to be slapped onto someone's order (MINE) just before closing time I peel back the "bun" and it looks like I just opened up someone's chest cavity- a soggy, oily, flat clump of ground beef sits buried beneath a sea of ketchup. I love ketchup, sure, but who wants a burger that's 70% sauce?? Scraping most of the ketchup away, I see that the actual patty looks like it's been flattened beneath an elephant's rear, it was so thin. Someone could stick it in an envelope and you'd never know it was in there (if you ignored the grease stains) it was so flat, istg I, bravely, decided to take a bite of the hideous amalgamation, only to promptly let it fall from my mouth, appetite completely ruined and money wasted. Brand new location and my family has been so excited for it to open as we don't have a closer one to us. My toddler was served RAW UNCOOKED FRIED CHICKEN. If she had consumed this she could potentially be in the hospital tonight. Shame on them (the cooks) for rushing or doing whatever could've caused this. Food is great, but today something was wrong while ordering. The customer service representative taking my order sounded like I was inconveniencing her to change the ingredients on the burger I ordered. She asked if I wanted it plain...after saying yes she said okay it'll be dry. Then I asked if ketchup could be added to it..."Well then it won't be dry anymore and it's not plain." I feel like Dearra could use some training or even just direction on customer service or professionalism with the way you should speak to a customer. I really wanted this place to do well and get good reviews. We need more good fast food restaurants at the intersection of Atlantic and Kernan. I waited weeks to go to this Whataburger because after their grand opening the lines were super long and I figured they would make mistakes as they navigate the new business. I went today for the first time. I entered the drive-through at 11:58 am. When you place your order, they ask your name which I provided. I got to the window to pick up my food in about 10 minutes or so . They asked me my name and handed me one bag then a drink. Of course, I have learned to check my order before I leave and noticed they left out my grilled chicken sandwich. She took my order back and asked me to pull forward. I parked and waited sipping on my drink which was also wrong. I ordered a Coke zero and got root beer instead. I decided to go in, I poured out my drink, got myself a new drink, went to the counter, and told her I have a window order that I am waiting on now almost 30 minutes. The staff in the back were loud and unprofessional. The sweet lady at the cash register was nice. I feel like if they talked less and played less, then maybe they could get orders correct and deliver them in a timely fashion. I wish the owners would hire people like Chick-fil-A does. read more

I have ordered online, via the Whataburger app, a few times. tonight, my grilled chicken sandwich was so grossly soggy from all the sauce they put on it I could not eat it. in addition, no catsup received for onion rings, as requested. called store and the manager said I have to go back through the app to either get a refund or reorder. they can't do anything in the store to rectify the issue. not to mention, it's Sunday night and still raining so don't really want to drive back up there but they didn't even offer or apologize for the problem. never again!! read more

I ordered online for pickup at 4:00 p.m. and had to wait about 25 minutes after I arrived. The cheeseburger and fries were very good and my order was made fresh and accurate. I wasn't crazy about the onion rings, they were very greasy. Even though I ordered ahead, I expected to wait because it's a new restaurant and they have a lot of bugs to work out. The way the drive thru is set up is a mess! Given the amount of time I watched each car sit in the drive thru, I would either order online or walk in the restaurant to order. Every single time I've been here I've waited an outrageous amount of time for my order and I'm only ordering for myself so it's just one meal. Sometimes nobody even takes your order. I have never in my life had to write a bad review. I even gave myself a day to think about it but i woke up feeling just as angry as when i left this establishment. Yesterday i went to whataburger with my family after church and received the worst service i have ever experienced. it all started when i placed my order with tamaira M. she was very unwelcoming she didn't say even say hello she just immediately she asked me what i wanted. she had an attitude about her that made it seem like she would rather me be anywhere else but ordering. when we got our food she called our name and once again she said nothing i had to say thank you to get any type of response from her. once we got home we realized that they had forgotten a spicy chicken sandwich that was apart of our meal. me and my boyfriend took the food back and my boyfriend asked tamaira if they could have the order remade since everything was cold by the time we got back to get the item they forgot. tamaira looked me in the eye with a disgusted look on her face and turned around and walked away. At this point there was no reason for that kind of reaction. my boyfriend wasn't rude about his request at all and she simply didn't respond or let us know if she had any plan to fix the situation. after a couple minutes of standing there she comes back and tells us they can't do anything but make the sandwich they forgot and she told us that we could "just reheat" our food. which in my opinion is not something you should ever say to a guest. not to mention we would not have needed to if they had gotten the order right the first time. that is when my boyfriend became frustrated with the horrible customer service for her and asked to see a manager. eventually the manager said he would throw in an extra free item to make up for the inconvience which was alot more than tamira would've thought of, clearly. while we wait for the rest of our order me and boyfriend have a conversation about how we've never experienced such terrible service from someone before and how this experience truly made us not to want to come back. during this tamira found it in her heart to finally start greeting guest after not doing it the entire time we were there. once we got our things tamira took it upon her self to raise her voice and let us know that she is "great at customer service" and had been at whataburger for a year. who knows why! i can't imagine her being good at making anyone feel comfortable and welcomed based off the service she gave before we had a problem with our order and based off the service she gave afterwards. the way she acted was truly unacceptable and a free cheeseburger was absolutely not enough to wash the taste of her disgusting attitude. this location needs to do better with helping their employees understand the importantance and impact of how basic kindness can go a long way with customers. read more
