My Husband got two Whataburgers, some of the nastiest food we ever got, there was nothing on it no lettuce nothing just on each bun two very overcooked nasty burgers on each bun. We have been using this location for a little while now and it was relatively decent but unfortunately, had to just deal with a situation that was not at all handled professionally by management. I had placed an order through the app, thankfully I had because I had to prove my order because physical proof of a receipt with info on it was apparently not enough. Amanda the manager that I spoke to over the phone, said the following "Ma'am that was 3 almost 4 weeks ago, I need you to understand from a business perspective..." To which I responded: "I do understand from your business perspective that you can't seem to pull up an order that was ACTUALLY 2 weeks and 2 days ago, check a calendar...and I need YOU to understand from the customer's perspective that when you have mistakes on an order and an employee says it will be taken care of 'on your next visit', to write down their name and circle the items that you expect it to be taken care of. It's not our fault they were NOT TRAINED to write down the number or address or any other identifying details" There was silence followed by a "Ma'am hold on a second..." CLICK. I was hung up on. Whether by mistake or not, I do not know but she made no effort to call back or tell my son sorry it hung up or anything. Overall, she was very rude to my son who was there in person in store trying to get our order remade which we were going to pay the difference of all items that didn't need to be replaced. Never been to Whataburger and I had to try before leaving Texas. Went there with sampling in mind and didn't want a full meal. Shared onion rings, fries, and a jalapeño cheese burger with a party of 3. I must say Whataburger has its place where other burger joints lack but not by far. Food is made to order so expect a wait. Your order is brought to you whether you are sitting at a table or simply just waiting. Dining area is kept cleaned. Workers are great. The whataburger on Trimmer is so unprofessional the management is ghetto and they take entirely too long in their drive-thru. From the time I entered to the time I left was 45 minutes and we ordered nearly $100.00 in food to get home and still have inadequate food items. I will never go to this establishment again. They need to do some secret shopping here to see how their management team behaves. Been here in Killeen, Texas at least 5 months and i have never tried Whataburger. I've moved here to help my parents get settled. Everything is so different. So it's only last week I tried Whataburger. I had no idea how to order. I just got their number one that is the most basic. I got the sweet tea and onion rings. I was impressed with the onion rings. The onion rings are not as what I expected. It was just plain batter and not so thick ....which was AWESOME! Most places have it breaded and thick. Which is really not my preference. I like tempura and the lighter the better. Their onion rings remind me a little of onion tempura. The burger was typical but I know if I tell them exactly how I want it, they'll do it. Second time today and I ordered the same exact thing except I asked for no mustard and instead Mayo, ketchup and extra onions. It's getting close to how I want it. Next time I'll ask without pickles. But I'm just glad that they don't mind making it the way I want it. As usual, i can't stop raving over their onion rings. I'd go back for just onion rings alone if I have to. So good. read more

The wings were alright, I wanted to try them so I got them as a meal, the 9 piece and honestly they're not worth the price (imo). I had too much sauce and the piece were just bland to me. I think whataburger should just stick to trying to keep their drive thru line shorter cause it is always o damn long and that's why I hadn't come here in a long ass time. It took 45 minutes to get food and some angry employee brought it out to us in the parking lot. She told us she was tired of people "bitching" about how long it took to get their food and shoved the sack at us. We had made zero complaint to anyone at anytime. All the employees looked pissed off and mistreated. The burger and fries were okay but cold. Imagine that? We will never go there again. Whataburger is a Marginally better version of Burger King. As a New Texan, I love Whataburger! It is So good, even though it's Horrible for your Health. It's better than the IN-IN-OUT we have in the Southwest. I have 2 Problems: .1 As I mentioned earlier, it is extremely unhealthy. I wish they had a Healthier Option, low-calorie or vegan. They have neither of those options. .2 they are Very Expensive, the Prices are $10+ for a Meal. There are loopholes, but it's not Ideal for the Everyday Person. I know every place can have employees having a bad day, call-outs, etc. so I stick to my 3-strike rule (most times). I try not to be a KAREN, but sometimes it is forced. The first visit in August - for National Hamburger Day (which they pretended they did not know anything about) so we ordered food anyway. My hubby ordered the Super Bacon burger that was on the menu at the time - it came with NO Bacon. The manager was amazing and offered either a free meal at a later date or to remake the food. We went for the free meal since I had already finished most of my food. She still brought him some bacon to add to the remaining part of his burger. Hiccup, but great service. Fast forward to this week - was in Temple so I stopped in with the receipt annotated for the free meal. The cashier had no idea how to handle it (not an issue) she took it to the Manager (Jill) who spent 3 minutes checking something against her phone and the POS. She comes to the counter and without empathy or a smile - she tells me, "This was so long ago!" (Yes - 3 months) I explained that I had not made it back to this location until now...she then said "I cannot honor this, do you want to order something?" My thoughts: #1 - Your kitchen team had an EPIC fail last time, I was giving you a chance to redeem. Why would I assume, with this treatment - it would be better? #2 - No one told me there was an expiration date. Had this been from 2020 - I would understand. #3 - Had Jill even pretended to care about the customer experience...I may have ordered a meal to try #2. Instead - I walked out and called customer service. #4 - Customer service answered the call with no introduction, I had to ask if I was talking to Whataburger. The conversation was fine and she sent a message to the location. She then explained that I would get a call or email to further discuss. Stating that sometimes they "send you something"? I do not want something, I just want to be able to go to my local Whataburger and know I will be taken care of. #5 - Has been a full business week and I have heard nothing... I usually eat at the Whataburger in Cedar Park on Cypress Creek. I like to modify my Sweet and Spicy burger. They only get my order correct about 1 in 5 times. No attention to detail, no consistency, no quality assurance checks. The food is good but I always feel a little disappointed. I decided to come today, just before midnight thinking that it was less busy. It turned out that they were 2 cars waiting to place an order, so I thought, that it was not bad. The service here is so slow, it took me 25 minutes to to place my order. And another 30 minutes to get one burger. It wasn't bad. Average burger place I guess. Seems like there was a lot of hype about this place so we checked it out on a business trip. Cheeseburger wasn't bad; the spicy ketchup on it was amazing though. Fries were average. The menu had a lot of items on it. If we were here longer, or lived near one I would have liked to try other items. I'd go back. We actually got a cheeseburger with ketchup only and fries, and did the same at In-N-Out Burger to do a comparison. Overall appearance and taste goes to In-N-Out.
