My first time ever having What-a-burger and I LOVED it! When I pulled up it was lunch and there were atleast 15 cars in the drive through, the line was backed up all the way into the outside entrance to the shopping center. It was everything that it was hyped up to be. I had the bacon and cheese whataburger meal with a sweet tea. This experience was the opposite of the one I had at in-n-out, which now in my mind is just an overhyped McDonalds. Whataburger actually taste like a fresh grilled burger, as soon as I bit in I knew that I had found my new favorite late night burger joint. The prices are comparable to other fast food restaurants such as Wendys and McDonalds but the burgers blow theirs out of the water! There was so much food that if filled me up for the entire day, for $8! This will most certainly be one of my go-to burger joints! read more

Takes FOREVER in the drive through. Line is wrapped around the building and stuck out on the main road and in the H-E-B parking lot. The line has not moved in 25 minutes. *35 minutes and we are through. read more

This place is no good. Not only is the wait atrocious, but they will only tell you to park in the front only to come out three times with absolutely nothing and claim that you did not order any food even though you have written proof and drinks. Nobody needs to wait over 45 minutes and then on for fast food, no matter what. Not to mention, with still giving the wrong order. read more

i ordered 25.00 Dollars worth of food and asked for a few ranch drsssing and was told to pay for it. ive never payed for ranch and upset that im being charged for sauce. i also asked for extra mustard and got none. Wow...it's 5am on a Sunday morning and I stopped in to get a breakfast sandwich. The floors are dirty, trash and fries all over the floors, couple of the tables look like they haven't been wiped off if hours... I am the only person in the place! Come on manager, clean the place up!! It's not like there is a rush at 4am!! So I walk out and notice trash in the grass, beer cans and trash in the parking lot. Wow... Two stars, only for the food, which is generally passable. I'm so disenchanted with this Whataburger location. During the day shift, consistently since this location opened, they always have one or two terrible employees on staff. And by terrible I mean someone with the ability to turn a good meal and 5 other decent employees into an awful experience. Whoever is in charge of hiring at this location, raise your standards...PLEASE. My experiences with said employees range from rude to...beyond rude. Loud, inconsiderate, they speak to you like they're scripted with zero common decency or respect, neglectful and overall, you can tell that these people simply couldn't care less. That's not the type of person I want taking my money, Whataburger. The food is typically on par with the chain standard, but having to deal with the employees leaves a terrible taste in my mouth nearly every time. It's not acceptable and, sadly, I've decided to not patronize this restaurant during the day shift any longer. Their saving grace is the night shift. I've had consistently good experiences with this crew over the years, even though it changes over time. Great job, great food, night shift...thanks for being decent. read more

Once again, very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My first time at this location and I found the service inside to be friendly, timely and accurate. I ordered the patty melt meal and enjoyed the hot, fresh meal. The sweet and spicy burger with bacon was fresh tasting with a smokey flavor from the bacon. Combined with the sweet sauce and freshly cooked onion rings ,it would have made an ideal last meal, as expressed by my husband. Noon was busy by what appeared to be high schoolers and I observed fast and friendly service just the same. The New Mexico location, Roswell, had roasted aneheims as a burger topping, not available in Killeen. Restaurant was clean. read more

My order, which is not complicated, has been wrong every single time I have ordered it at this location. Instead of subbing mayonnaise for mustard, they leave it dry and bare. Instead of both raw and grilled onion, I will only get one. And if I order bacon on my burger, it just won't even be there even though I specifically paid for it. I get the bacon burger with no cheese because I'm LACTOSE INTOLERANT!! Dairy upsets and hurts my stomach! Every Whataburger that I have been has given me my burger without cheese with no problem. We go through the drive through at this location and they serve my burger with cheese. My loving husband took the burger in and asked to get it without cheese. Words from your manager to him "what kind of moron gets a bacon cheese burger with no cheese?" I'm sorry I enjoy bacon with my burger also. I don't think that was very polite of her say. So I'll start out by saying I Love Whataburger & eat it whenever I get back down South. So I went to this Whataburger and the guy at the counter didn't even acknowledge me. I stood at counter for like a minute while we did something on the cashier register screen. Then he said hey and walked to the back to get a refill canister for the Tea station. Then came back to counter started messing with the screen & mumbling something about a previous customer leaving. He made eye contact with me at least 4 times and never asked what I wanted to order. So almost three minutes of standing there & no service I left. There were other workers who I know saw me too & none took the initiative to ask what I wanted to order. So I left went down to the Whataburger in Harker Heights & was instantly greeted with Welcome to Whataburger & friendly service & got my burger really fast. Whataburger is probably most famously known for it's 2 a.m. after the club/bar drive through. It is great tasting food from what I remember of those long past visits. I had the opportunity to visit for breakfast today. Food - burrito with bacon: over cooked eggs, bacon was good, tortilla was rubbery. Their picanate sauce is decent. Hashbrown sticks - wasn't really sure if they were fried mashed potatoes or what, not tasty. Service/speed - slow slow slow and you have to double check, ask twice atleast for the "extras" like ketchup, sauces, salt/pepper. I think this place is great for a milk shake on a hot day or a 2 a.m. visit when you need food because you've been out drinking. Just sayin! read more

Our family had a delightful fast food treat here. The service was both fast and friendly. We tend to always receive a fresh and tasty result consistently from Whataburger. This last time though, the fries were slightly limp and a little on the cold side. However, the burger was amazing. The meat patties were mouthwatering and the melted cheese between them made for a deliciously gooey result. I ordered a dine in order. Lori was my order taker. She was friendly and nice. I used my app to get a free medium fry. I also ordered a medium drink, and a justaburger, but triple meat, triple cheese. I only wanted mustard, ketchup, & pickles. Lori has no issues taking my order. Several employees were working the lobby making it clean, greeting guests and delivering food. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. My food was delivered hot, double wrapped and with a smile!
