This is a fast food restaurant. We stopped here from out of town. The service was friendly at the order counter. Jay was awesome and served us our food and then brought out sauces. The food has gone down hill. Burgers were cold and dry. Buns were stale. Fries were over cooked and cold. Onion rings were way over cooked and burnt. Chocolate shake had almost no Chocolate in it. The people that worked there seemed like they like they didn't care if you ate there or not. We won't be back. read more

I eat at a lot of Whataburgers all over the state but this one never fails to disappoint. The bummer is it is the closest to where I live. On this visit, I found an employees Whataburger hat in the parking lot so I carried it in. When I told the cashier and tried to hand it to him he looked at me like I was crazy, another employee took it from me with no thank you or anything other than a weird look. When my food came out, instead or bringing it to my table, I guess the number they gave me was different so they just called my name. It was packed to go but I stayed done in when I placed my order. So I grabbed the tray when an employee said that is a dirty tray? Ok not a fatal mistake but with the flies buzzing all over inside the dining room and the dirty floors and tables this particular Whataburger seems to be poorly managed. I do recommend Whataburgers all over but can not recommend this one. read more

This whataburger has quickly gone downhill. Every time I go here the service is slower than molasses. Last time I went my order was horrible wrong and due to the fear of waiting another hour my family and I ate the food anyway. The dining room is cool, but often dirty and unkept. You say you don't make the burger until you order it but I had a jalapeño cheddar burger that tasted like the meat and cheese had been sitting around for a while. Something want right with the taste of the BOB (Breakfast on a Bun) today. The sausage tasted old. It was cooked, but not fresh. The fried egg was spongy and had egg shell in it. The food has never been the issue here (for me), usually it is the wait times. You can't necessarily blame the employees for this system. It's always upper management and executives that are too ambitious before doing basic research on incorporating online ordering. Most places have an alert notification system that is given out when your order is actually completed and ready for pick up. Whataburger estimates when the food will be ready, but this makes you wait and it varies significantly from a few minutes to 20+. I don't mind being given an estimate, but it is frustrating when you are alerted that your order is ready when it is not. It would require some technical upgrades, but it would save time and address some of the negative reviews. read more

Today I ordered a number 8 with extra mustard. I love mustard a little more than the average person but whoever topped my burger must have been having a bad day. When I say the burger was SOAKED with mustard I mean both breads were soggy all the way through and the double paper wrapping was wet. It was inedible. I made an online order at 10pm. it said my order would be ready at 10:12, I arrived at 10:10, I waited in the line for over an hour and still didn't have my food at 11:15 and still had 3 cars in front of me. I enjoy Whataburger, but this one is the one I only go to in desperation. And each time I go through this location I regret it and swear not to return. Yet return I do, so something must be right. Whatever you do, do NOT go through the drive through after 8:00pm. I don't know what happens but whenever I stop by on my way home from an airport or whatever, it is an absolute trainwreck. Very seldom do we get what we ask. We love whataburger but we don't care for our orders constantly being messed up. Went inside ordered had to have it corrected thought I got everything we requested and nope we still got the wrong order. While yes you can check and correct their mistakes but why should I go back and micromanage my own order? Mistakes once in a while fine. But not every time I go in. And if I didn't receive what I get either I have to go back and spend gas for the item or they just keep the money. I'm really disappointed with my service from this location today. I did not receive all of the items from my order and the ones I did receive weren't worth paying $20+. When I mentioned a burger patty looked like it had a bite taken out of it, the employee at the window was reluctant to help me. When I called the store to say I was missing my son's grilled cheese meal, Eric only told me to write his name on my receipt and the next time I was in I could get a replacement. Fortunately, as a Texan, Whataburger is our birthright and they'll fix you a burger or chicken 24 hours a day. I ordered a double Whataburger Junior adding cheese and bacon. I've spent entirely too much money at this location despite their consistent failure to fulfill one of my orders - I'm done. Every time I visit the drive through or order online and pickup, I'm missing something, and going inside often involves some unexplained wait regardless of the prior waiting you've done. The times I spoke to the various managers we've seen over the years, they were either rude, uninformed, overwhelmed, or pointed fingers... no accountability. Given the time of night they did a decent job. Could it have been a faster transaction? Definitely. It's fast food so I don't expect perfection every time. The kitchen dropped the ball and forgot part of my order. Gave some lame excuse for the delay but like I said they did a decent job. There was an older lady running the register who was wonderful. She apologized for the delay and said she understood my frustration. She was pleasant enough to make the delay tolerable. Interesting how a friendly smile can change the temperament of a situation. Messed up order . I went to Whataburger craving a cheeseburger. I ordered my pretty simple order, one PLAIN cheeseburger and fries.
