Please go somewhere else!! This Whataburger is not like any other one-it does not have good service and the food does not taste like Whataburger. Please go to the one in Deer Park on Spencer Hwy. We ordered 2-#1 meals. One burger was supposed to be lettuce, pickles, grilled onions and peppers and cheese. The other was no cheese and no onion. On the first burger, we received "grilled" jalapeños and raw onions. It looked like they dumped a whole jar on top with the juice. It was so hot, it was inedible. The other burger had a sticker that said "no onion" and it was packed full of raw onion. This is not the first time this has happened! When I called to let them know, unbeknownst to me, I accidentally called the other restaurant in Deer Park. When I realized my mistake, I called them to let them know it was the restaurant in La Porte that fixed our order wrong. The manager told me they get a lot of phone calls saying orders were incorrect. They check the drive thru cameras each time to confirm and no one shows up to get the correct order! They finally figured out it wasn't them, it was the Whataburger in La Porte!! I think a new manager and crew would help with getting this place like the other ones. read more

Must be that time of the year again, kids out of school so the ones that really don't give a crap are there. Check your order before you leave. I just got a meatless Whataburger. The fries were good but, was ask if I wanted pie so I said sure give me an apple and a lemon. When I got home I discovered the meatless Whataburger on the first bite. Oh well a salad sandwich. Then I pulled out the lemon labeled pie. It was apple, so was the apple. Too late for me to want to drive back tonite. I will just go to Burger King next time for a while. Maybe try Whataburger again after a month. Let the kids get trained and weeded out. read more

The food is good, the restaurant clean, and the staff polite, but this drive thru is a hot mess! over the past six months, it takes longer and longer to get an order, no matter how small or what time of day. Last week it took 17 minutes to get my order and there were no cars ahead of me and only three parked outside. Today I ordered a kids meal and had to wait in lane B over twenty minutes. I finally had to call inside and ask a manager to please find the employee that walked away with my debit card and that if my order wasn't ready, please cancel it so that I could go somewhere else. He was nice enough to comp my meal, but when I got home, it was wrong anyway. I'm going to start driving to Deer Park because it will take less time and gas. read more

I went through the driver though and Angela B was my cashier. There were only 2 cars in the drive thru at the time. The order was rang up incorrectly so I received the wrong items. When I called back I spoke with Juma Ali the general manager who said several times "I don't understand you sir" to which I asked for someone else I might be able to speak with. He said I could call his boss Mark the area manager. I asked for Mark's number and was disconnected. I called back immediately and the phone rang 13 times then someone picked up and hung up. I called back and the phone rang 8 times then Juma picked up. I said we were disconnected and that I still needed Mark's number. He gave it to me but when I called it was not answered and instead was a generic voice mail not letting me know this was actually Mark's phone. I have been coming to this location since it opened and the other location that closed when this one opened for too many years to count, but I guess this is what you get when you change to a Chicago run company and lose you Texas customer service values. It has happened on the last 2 trips thru the drive thru and inside, service is horrible, unfriendly and the order was wrong again. I ordered tea and got coke I ordered a #10 meal with an extra sandwich and got 2 sandwiches. I hope Billy still works inside because that is the only good thing about this place. Obviously after reading all the reviews the management doesn't give a Sh!t about the customer because they haven't done anything to correct the situation. I am an avid Whataburger eater, and this location almost single-handedly changed my view of Whataburger from my favorite place to a last resort. Every time I have been at the drive-thru, I have been either the only car or one of two cars, and have waited about 15 minutes to receive basic 2-person orders. Also, there is always at least one thing missing or an unwanted item on a sandwich or burger. I tried to file a complaint, and initially one female manager agreed to compensate ONE of my wrong orders, but a male manager later refused to do anything for me and questioned the validity of my complaint. Terrible experience and I will never visit this location again. read more

I love the breakfast and the folks that work the drive thru in the morning are great, however, do NOT order salads. I am a regular and I have complained twice already about the salads and this (the third one) was the last straw. I will continue to eat breakfast there, but I will leave the salads alone. read more

Check your to go orders before you leave. Got home with burnt stuck together onion rings and over cooked chicken sandwich. Then they also left out two paid for Apple pies. Not the first time they didn't complete the order. When I went back to talk with the manager he pretended to be on the phone for over 20-25 minutes. Every time I order food through the drive thru they get my order wrong. They either forget my fries, make my burger wrong, or forget my Ck gravy. It's quite aggregating but I always give them another chance in hopes that I will get my meal as I ordered it. The last time that I went, they made my burger wrong. I asked for a burger plain and dry with ketchup only. They gave me a burger with ketchup and jalapeños. My husband called and spoke to the manager as she was very apologetic. She offered to make us a new burger so he went back. When he got home, we checked it and they had made it wrong again! This time they added cheese! Frustrated does not even begin to explain how we felt. By this time we had both lost our appetite and the manager blamed it on the "teenagers" working there. I always try to avoid driving to the Whataburger on spencer but I will definitely take a trip to that one after so many time they have messed up my order. read more
