I wasn't impressed with the quality of the gyro meat or the rice. The gyro was cut in cubes, no big deal rather than usual slices. The meat was dry and lacked flavor. Coming from a middle eastern household, I would caution anyone with preconceived notions of what gyro or shawarma should taste like to lower your expectations. The chicken was pre-cooked and shredded and was seasoned with tandoori spice. The gyro was sliced thicker than a middle-aged Arab man's mustache - the flavor wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't fresh sliced off the spit. Our daughter had the falafel, but it was served with taziki - not tahini. The plates were served with basmati seasoned with biriani spices - another confusing offering. The fries were good. Ordered from Door Dash- the dasher "had an issue " and my order was abruptly canceled. They "offered" to remake it free of charge, okay. The next hour it was "preparing your order". I finally had to cancel it, because they're apparently incapable of making a simple order (one schwarma and an order of hummus without an hour and a half wait. This place is a bad. Not only are they crazy expensive but the food quantity for the price is lopsided. I stopped in there after visiting some family from the area and immediately wish I had not. Visited in person for the first time. Hate to say the trip wasn't what I thought it would be! The woman at the front was very unfriendly. Seemed very annoyed the whole time we were ordering and rolled her eyes when I complimented her henna. Not sure what I did, but my bf and I were extremely uncomfortable. She had a different woman bring our food out and just pointed from the back as if we had done something wrong. Other than that the place is clean, and looks nice! Great place to try some gyros, the place is small but the food is delicious, The owner is really attentive and he would go ask if we needed something else. The meal is with fries and a coke. We ordered for dessert a tiramisu and it was really creamy, we loved it. There is no music and the place is calm. The restaurant is right besides a gas station, so very few spots to park. I have been coming to this place for about a year. I absolutely love the combo bowl. I went today to get me a bowl, usually I get an itemized receipt but this time I wasn't even offered a receipt. I asked why the price was different, he printed a receipt and I was charged a noncash charge. The problem I have is it was never charged before never told before the transaction no sign posted and when I asked he said he would give me the 50 cents back. The problem is not the 50 cents it's the way you did it. I will never visit the place again not because of the food but because of the dishonesty. Scratch a lie find a thief. I had mix reviews ok let's start off it's clean and friendly!! We were greeted at the door with a smile always love that! The food now.. I got the gyros frys and my husband got the gyro.. lamb on both and the grape leaves oh FYI the do mozzarella instead of feta for cheese we had to ask but I do know some enjoy the mozzarella so not hating lol. My husband said the lamb had flavor wish there was more meat then the pile veggie, he did enjoy it! Mine was little sad they drowned my fry's in the sauce and feta little over powering and didn't put much lamb on it but what wasn't drowned tasted really good fry's were perfectly cooked!!! The grape leave are more of a mint sauce on it then use to with lemon but they were good! Sooo mix feeling I know each restaurant has there own all in all it was good!!! Charge more money than the menu and then had a bad excuse about fixing their sign. If you haven't fixed your sign yet you cannot charge people a different price. That is bad business. I really love this restaurant!!! The service is always outstanding and the food is phenomenal. I get the lamb bowl normally, the meat is seasoned perfectly and the texture is just right, the veggies are always fresh. I'm not super crazy about the rice, but it doesn't take away from the meal. I also get their classic Gyro occasionally and it's perfect as well! You have try their wings!!! I've literally never had better ones anywhere! I wish I took photos!
