I used to get off work every day after a very long days work and I would always order the same thing; a Number 3 with a Strawberry Shake. I can not count how many times I have been charged for 2 drinks, charged for 6 things of cheese and charged for fries I was never given, it is very disappointing, and it's not worth hassling over it when I find out on my receipt because I always order at midnight. I've gone to this location for over 8 years now and have yet to get a correct curbside order. There's always SOMETHING wrong. Often times I get it on my break and have no time to call to get it replaced, but this last time it was so wrong I just HAD call. THEN a few days after i was told itd be taken care of, they tell me that since it didn't get written down in some book they cant prove that my order was wrong even tho i have the receipt and a picture (with date and time) of the VERY wrong order. This whataburger location absolutely sucks!!!! Every time I go to this location the food is never fresh, hot, or good whatsoever. The employees also aren't that nice. I went today (6-21-23) to get a number 13 meal and the food was disgusting. The fries were cold, the chicken tenders tasted old, the bread wasn't fresh, and the gravy was pure liquid like WATER. Whataburger is a Texas tradition. It was also recently voted the best fast-food burger in the USA beating both In-N-Out and Five Guys. I find the burgers at this location to be made fresh. Also important, they are made correctly. My favorite is the Patty Melt. It is a burger made with 2 patties with grilled onions, Monterey Jack cheese, the their creamy pepper sauce. It is delicious but has over 900 calories. My wife and I will often split it. Also, a little known fact, you can order the smaller version with one patty which is less expensive and not on the menu. The employees here are friendly and do get your food to you quickly. Remember, everything is fresh so they are slower than McDonald's. However, that's where the comparison ends. Enjoy your burger. I like this location. The only down side is their drive thru ALWAYS has a line wrapped around the building. And if you decide to take the chance and sit in the line you will likely be there for 20 minutes. Try to order ahead on the app or just go elsewhere if you're in a rush. read more

The unqualified, big and tall boy, wearing a white striped shirt, who couldn't even be bothered to fix our order, he needs to go back to training or just putting fries in the grease. We ordered an off the menu Monterrey Chicken Strip sandwich and they hooked us up! Really appreciated it because they were slammed and still did it for us. For the first time ever, I believe, Whataburger has truly let me down. Now this is probably specific to the Whataburger in League City at 646 and I-45. Today there was a very bad fire in League City. At least four different fire departments were called in to help fight this fire. When I got off work I went to Whataburger. There was a lady in front of me who was ordering 100 Whataburgers and 100 medium fries for the firefighters. Myself and another gentleman encourage her to approach the manager for some sort of discount. And he refused. They even had the audacity to say we give discounts to schools. But not to the first responders? So I am boycotting this particular Whataburger. read more

I'm generally very fond of Whataburger's grub--taquitos and burgers especially. I used to stop by this location for taquitos and coffee nearly every morning, but I scratched this place from my routine some time ago. I noticed over time that the wait times in the mornings kept getting longer and longer. Then I noticed that there would usually be at least one issue with my order, i.e. something would be missing or not prepared correctly. The final straw was broken when my drinks started being botched. Tepid coffee and fountain drinks that are 90% ice are dealbreakers for me. Management needs to get some higher quality people to staff this place. No one wants to have his food prepared by someone who looks like he's four days into a five-day bender, especially when Whataburger is not exactly a cheap place to stop anymore. read more

I can't believe I am eating at Whataburger. It was either this place, or Sonic. I would liked to have tried Sonic. They seem to have legendary status where I come from. But, with the heat and the fact that you stay in your car to eat, we decided to give Whataburger a whirl. We ordered and were handed our drink cups. I headed over to the dispenser for some iced tea only to discover "sweet tea." Oh wow, that sounds good! I don't normally sweeten my tea but I love to try regional specialities and I had heard about this "sweet tea, southern thing." Well, I wish I had loved it. Wow, was it sweet! Unfortunately, it was too sweet. I had 3-4 sips and just couldn't do it. Wo while I think having sweet tea with my meal sounds all southern and romantic, it didn't work for me. The burger I got here was "ok." I don't eat a lot of burgers and it probably would take a really great one to impress me. So, while I give this the "ok" rating; that is pretty good for me and burgers. I would eat here again if the opportunity presented. No, I wouldn't make this a destination and I can't compare it to In and Out Burger. It's probably about the same in my book. Just wish I could've gotten into that sweet tea - it sounded like such a cool thing to be into. And, we don't have it in California.
