What the ever loving hell happened here? These new employees are rude and sloppy. I just watched the girl be rude and condescending to the polite man in front of me, rude to everyone she was making sandwiches for. The guy that made ours was sloppy, things were thrown on in piles, sauces covered half the length, then things torn apart and dropped in trays. I feel sorry for the guy they're training. Who they were also being rude to. I should have gone to the other location. And now he's standing in the open employees only door, yelling complaints at another employee. Y'all suck

    Cat treat in my food

I ordere a veggie sub online and there's a cat treat in it! I wasn't there to see this being prepared, but I didn't think I needed to be. Now they're not answering the phone. I'm so disgusted

    Bugs in the light fixtures.

Been a long time customer of the Texas City location near my house. Found myself in the Webster…read morearea for work, and figured I'd give this location a shot. Sub was good, not as great as the Texas city location, but still a quality sub. The issue was the service. Never have I ever experienced such rudeness from staff. Walking in (again, for the first time) I am greeted with a "what do you want" yell. I thought he was joking or messing around at first, but no, dude was serious. I give my order and try to pay. Another yell from him "you pay after you eat" ok, that works, too. All the while, the two other guys on duty are groaning about not having enough time to prepare for the day, complaining about customers on Saturdays, and more. I'm all for hole in the wall, simple no frills dining, but this place had an overall terrible, terrible vibe. I finish eating and go to pay. Guy barks orders at me on how to tap my card. I try different attempts, finally the card reader shows an error. Dude yells at me "LISTEN, OR THAT WILL HAPPEN". Turns out, his WiFi network wasn't on the whole time. Upon discovering this, in his defense he did apologize - but cmon dude. Shouldn't ever treat a customer like that. I slide my card and it works first try, after he turned the WiFi network on. I bumped my tip down from 22% to 18% and walked out. As I exit, I hear grumbles of complaints coming from the dude. Serious disappointment here. Never returning. I hate for one location to taint the other, but I can't say this makes me want to revisit my beloved Texas city location by my house any more, either.

Anyhow, we walked in and were warmly greeted by the guys behind the counter. You can dine in or carry out, we dined in. I told them it was our first time there and he recommended my husband or I get the Italian sub. I had already decided that was the one I was going to get before entering anyways so that's what I went with & my husband got the cheese steak. After ordering we picked out drinks out of the cooler and a bag of chips to split. They offer Snapple, Gatorade, water, and a variety of sodas. Our sandwiches were delivered to our table within about 2-3 minutes of ordering. They were so good, I didn't think to take pictures but would highly recommend both. The entire vibe in the store feels like you're at a family members house. If you enjoy a good sub or sandwich give this place a shot, they are affordable and welcoming but most importantly delicious!

So if you're looking for a decent fried chicken sandwich or breakfast sandwich, this is a nice change from the other major chicken sandwich chain. I recommend getting the chicken, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. This location has been open less than a week (as of today, 11.21.25) so the employees are still running slightly slow and making mistakes. But, more than likely, it will get better. Bottom line - Decent breakfast sandwiches but no bone-in chicken. 3 stars. Bon appétit, y'all.

I can't speak on the ambiance of the dining room, because this was a to-go order. Despite that the website -- based on my location -- showed bone-in chicken as an option, the lady at the drive-thru was polite in delivering the bad news. That said... This joint was out of mashed potatoes at around 6:30 on a weeknight. These are instant potatoes. Why? The mac & cheese was OK; the slaw was better than most, because the cabbage wasn't finely sliced; and the dirty rice was somewhat flavorful but gummy. If the biscuits here are "famous," it's only because they are spongy. I made better biscuits when I was a 12-year-old on a Boy Scout campout. -- The chicken strips are fine. Nothing memorable, but served fresh on my visit. The management at this location isn't the greatest. Perhaps they were having a bad day. More importantly, the person in the corporate marketing department who decided that bone-in chicken shouldn't be an option in this neck of the woods might want to collaborate with colleagues at other chicken chains that have realized great national success AND include strips on the menu. But, if you look at the history of Bojangles, you'll see that this company has passed through more hands than a deck of cards at a poker table. Good luck enjoying the offerings here.

I've been wanting to try Main St. Bistro, so when my sister suggested it for Easter, I was down. We had a party of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids). We got there around 1:00 on Easter Sunday & didn't have to wait long even though it was busy. A man took our drink order. My brother-in-law asked to go ahead & order two appetizers. Our waitress, Natalie, came shortly after, introduced herself & confirmed the appetizers. We were brought 4 small cubes of banana bread, which felt weird since there were 7 of us. My toddler & my niece both had a whole one. The other two were split between 4 adults. My brother-in-law didn't have any. The appetizers came out fairly quickly & were gone just as fast. We finally ordered right at 2:00 after a little wait & indecisiveness. Then my son was done sitting in a highchair. My husband and brother-in-law took the kids outside. They played for a bit & walked two laps around the whole strip center. They came back, still no food. My son had a complete meltdown since he was both hungry & now tired, my brother-in-law asked if there was any way they could just rush my son's food. They did and he started eating, everyone was so hungry that they had some bites of his food as well. My mom went to ask the manager if our food was close to being ready. The answer was no, there was a whole list of orders ahead of ours. The manager was kind enough to bring us some spinach dip & apologized for the wait, explaining she was dreading today because the kitchen wasn't equipped for the Easter crowd. She assured us that they were working as fast as possible & we appreciated her honesty & effort. My mom went to her car & asked us to let her know when her food came. Our food finally started arriving at 3:17, and not all at once. My sister's meal came last. By this time my son was done & was getting restless while we had JUST started eating. The food itself was disappointing. My sister and I both ordered Benedicts. Mine (Boudin Benny) wasn't hot and was mushy instead of seared. Both of our poached eggs were undercooked. My sister's also had a large amount of cream cheese that wasn't listed and didn't taste good. Other issues: my mom's fries were cold, my brother-in-law said his chicken fried steak was no good. He ate it because he was hungry, and while my husband liked his sandwich & was happy with it, his fries were cold. My niece enjoyed her burger. My son's shrimp, fries, & macaroni were all hot and good... likely because they were rushed for him. It was 3:45 by the time we left. They close at 3. We received a 40% discount, but there was also a 20% automatic gratuity added, which some in our party didn't expect. Here's where they earn stars back... Natalie was great! She took great care of us & kept apologizing for the delay. We could tell that she felt bad, but it was not her fault. The manager also came by checking on us multiple times & got us settled as best she could. She brought us spinach dip while we waited & she made sure that my toddler got food very quickly after being asked about it. She did thank us multiple times for our kindness & patience. As did Natalie. I too, was appreciative of the kindness they showed us. Most of us have all worked in food service before & we understand that the wait staff can only do so much. We also understand being slammed in the kitchen & how fast paced they have to work in order to handle rushes. I appreciate the 40% discount... 20% after the tip. This review was based on one trip & I will update my review if/when I return. But this visit was definitely not a great experience & if it weren't for the kindness, I'd be leaving one star.

When he arrived, no one greeted him, and he had to wait several minutes before anyone came out to acknowledge him. When a female staff member finally appeared, she gave him a strange look--as if he was inconveniencing her just by being there. He politely asked if they were still open until 9:00, and she responded with a dismissive grunting sound and said something like "yes-ish." When he clarified that they still had about 30 minutes until closing, she made the same noise again and remained extremely rude. She never greeted him, didn't take his order, and eventually just walked away. He told her he'd take a minute to decide on his order, but she never returned. Thankfully, about five minutes before closing, another staff member came out who was kind, professional, and took his order without issue. But the earlier interaction really left a bad impression. This is especially disappointing because this has always been one of our favorite sandwich spots, but after this experience, our family likely won't be returning to this location. Poor customer service--especially when it's that blatantly rude--can really ruin what would otherwise be a great place to eat. My husband came home visibly upset, and that's not how anyone should feel after grabbing dinner.
