Not sure if there's new management or what has changed. Today was the final straw. My wife and I came in for lunch on Memorial Day shortly after they opened. The restaurant wasn't busy and there were plenty of servers working. We were brought chips and then completely forgotten about. We sat there for 15-20 minutes waiting for someone to come back and even take our drink order. Nothing. What made it worse was watching multiple servers walk right past us without ever making eye contact or checking on us. We finally got up, moved to the bar, and ordered our food there instead. We did let the hostess know about our experience, but no manager or staff member ever came over to apologize or even acknowledge the situation. Really disappointing considering how long we've supported this place.

Joshua was our server and he did a good job, and our food came out relatively fast, so no issues with service. As for the food however, I can't be as positive. Last time I had the Mahi Mahi and thought it was fine enough. This time I decided to try one of their burgers. I'll be honest, I like my burgers pretty plain, which is its own can of worms. Point being, the bun tasted very odd and almost stale, and the patty was very mushy and lacked flavor. The signature sauce was also unappetizing, with it being some sort of distant cousin of mustard or potentially a very odd Thousand Islands? I'm not sure if additional toppings would save this considering the unappealing foundation. It just left me very unfulfilled. The milkshakes on the other hand? Fantastic. Definitely the highlight. It was just as good as the last time I went. I haven't been to many other places that matches the quality of here. Could not recommend more. I've yet to try the chicken or other fish so I can't comment on their quality. All I'm gonna say is, burger lovers maybe approach with a grain of salt. 3/5

For food, we got our usual: kid's cheese pizzas and a salad bar. Kids scarfed down their pizzas and helped themselves to the free soft serve ice cream (I think the real reason they pick this place.) The salad bar was excellent! Everything was filled and fresh. I have always loved their Italian dressing but I'm avoiding seed oil so I brought in my own homemade avocado oil Italian dressing. What used to be the old Genghis Grill location, this Bojangles definitely gives Raising Canes and Layne's a run for their chicken tender money. I missed the name of the guy I talked to at the cash register, but his service was great and you could tell how hard of a worker he is. I tried their 4 piece tenders, chicken sandwich, biscuit, dirty rice, bo sauce, house made ranch, and their new blackberry cobbler. The chicken is crispy, well seasoned, and larger than the other fast food chicken tender competitors. But the main thing I'm coming back for are those BISCUITS! By far the best fast food biscuits at any fast food restaurant, it honestly beats some actual restaurants too. The only small critique was that I didn't care for the dirty rice too much, it was just a little bland, and the blackberry cobbler was way too sweet. Otherwise, I'll definitely be back again! That is about a 50-50 split on getting them nice and fresh. Half of the time they will be cold and the cream cheese will be lumpy. All I can say is this company had better get their proverbial crap together or they are going to go down in flames just like every other restaurant that thinks subpar food is acceptable.
